Looking down from the sky, they could see the semicircular Temple of the Gods of Heaven floating just above the atmosphere.

The plants were lush and green, with several buildings rising from the ground like a dream, truly living up to its name as a place where kami lived.

Gohan and Trunks landed.

Trunks looked around, amazed.

He opened his eyes wide, jumped twice on the ground of the Temple of the Gods, or Kami's lookout, and then trotted off, curious about everything.

He kept asking, "Gohan, is this really where the gods live?"

"Yeah, that's right."

Seeing Trunks's excitement, Gohan couldn't help but smile.

After all, Trunks was just a kid and couldn't hide his happiness.

Gohan was also quite happy. At least this place hadn't been attacked by the androids, and everything was intact.

This meant that the Hyperbolic Time Chamber could still be used.

"I wonder if Mr. Popo is still here?"

Gohan thought to himself as he followed Trunks towards the buildings.

There was an archway ahead, and through it was the real Temple of the Gods. They were still in the front half of the Temple, on the square.

"Gohan, what does a god look like?" Trunks, running ahead, turned around and asked.

"Isn't he really tall, handsome, and cool?"

Gohan thought of Piccolo and couldn't help but smile, "He is quite tall."

But handsome? Not so much.

After all, it's a bit weird to call a Namekian handsome.

At that moment, Gohan's eyes narrowed.

He sensed someone coming out of the Temple's gate.

Gohan stared at the gate and stopped. "Trunks, stop!"

"Ah." Trunks stopped and noticed a figure emerging from the gate.

There was no energy, not even a trace of any life force.

"This..." Trunks couldn't help but take a step back. "What is that?"

Even though the androids have no energy, they at least have life waves.

"Is it Mr. Popo?" Gohan asked, squinting.

As he spoke, the figure finally came from the darkness.

Or rather, he was like a piece of darkness himself.

Who else could it be but Mr. Popo, the rival of Blackbeard **cough**?

He was completely pitch black, not in a racist way though, except for his clothes.

Gohan breathed a sigh of relief when he saw it was indeed Mr. Popo.

Mr. Popo looked at Gohan, then at Trunks, and said, "Gohan, you finally made it. I've been waiting for you for a long time."

His face was so dark you couldn't see any expression.

He spoke without any emotion, like a robot.

"Waiting for me? Why?" Gohan asked.

Mr. Popo replied, "Since the death of Kami 12 years ago, no humans have come to the Temple. I've been waiting here for 12 years. Gohan, would you be willing to become the new Kami?"

Hearing this, Trunks's eyes lit up. "Cool! Gohan is going to be the new Kami!"

But Gohan's next answer stunned him.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Popo, I don't want to be the Kami of Earth," Gohan shook his head.

Mr. Popo wasn't disappointed; Gohan's answer was expected.

But he still asked, "Oh, why not?"

Gohan said, "Because even if I become the new Kami, I can't defeat Androids 17 and 18."

He added angrily, "And, as far as I know, there are restrictions after becoming a Kami. Mr. Popo, have you seen the world's suffering over the years?"

"Over the past decade, the androids have been destroying and killing people at will, and the human world is crying out for help. What were you doing?"

"Even if you contacted me, it would've changed a lot and saved many lives!"

Mr. Popo lowered his head. "I'm sorry, Gohan. As the guardian of the Temple, I can't interfere in human affairs."

Gohan was really angry now.

He didn't understand this at first.

But because of merging with another soul, he saw things from a god's perspective.

So he knew there were many ways to save Earth.

But no one did!

For years, no one cared about Earth, leaving a mess on the shoulders of a 9-year-old child.

Is this reasonable?

Is this fair?

The world had become a forgotten place.

How could he not be angry, dammit!?

Because he himself was that helpless child.

Who knows what he went through in the past ten years?

If someone had cared, Earth wouldn't be in this state.

For example, if Mr. Popo had used telepathy, told him about the Temple, taught him how to train, and told him about the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gohan felt he could've done better and many lives could have been saved.

Or, if when the disaster started, King Kai had told him the address of New Namek.

He could've taken a spaceship to Namek, collected the Dragon Balls, and saved everyone.

But no, nothing happened.

Now, more than ten years later, still no one cared.

Even if they found New Namek now, his friends couldn't be resurrected.

What made him most resentful were his dead friends.

Although it felt disrespectful, he thought they were very neglectful.

King Kai could say he forgot about Earth due to managing many planets, but what about his uncles, master, and his dad?

If nothing unexpected happened, they retained their physical bodies and trained in the afterlife or with King Kai.

How did they ignore Earth for more than ten years?

Were they so happy that they didn't want to return home?

Or was it something else?

Damn it.

It's really a damned place *sigh*.

Thinking of this, Gohan couldn't help but wipe the corners of his slightly damp eyes, then clenched his right fist.

His feet pressed harder into the ground, and his ki suddenly surged.

With him at the center, a circle of air waves exploded.

The ground cracked with several fissures, and golden flames rose up.

Gohan himself never thought that after all he'd been through, the first time he'd truly feel his "past self's" anger, and it was valid.

As he knew, Gohan was always gentle, and his anger was always deeply hidden.

But for Saiyans, anger was also their biggest strength.

As long as he got angry enough, Androids 17 and 18 would face serious disaster.

Seeing Gohan suddenly power up and turn into a Super Saiyan, Trunks and Mr. Popo were shocked.

"Oh my gosh, Gohan, your ki is so strong. With this kind of power, he can probably defeat the androids," Trunks was amazed and said with hope in his eyes.

Mr. Popo waved his hands apologetically, "Gohan, please calm down. I really had no choice. It's my duty. I truly can't interfere in worldly affairs. I'm sorry, really."

He thought his answer had angered Gohan.

"Huh~" Gohan exhaled and calmed himself down.

He dispersed the powerful aura and said, "Sorry, that was a bit rude from my side, but you can understand, right, Mr. Popo?"

"It's fine, it's fine," Mr. Popo waved his hands, relieved.

Then he asked, "Since you're not here to become Kami, what brings you here, Gohan?"

Gohan stopped talking to him and said directly, "We want to use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Is that okay?"

"Ah, so you know about the Time Chamber. Of course, no problem. Please follow me," Mr. Popo said, gesturing for them to follow, and then turned and walked into the temple.

Trunks looked at Gohan.

"What are you staring at? Let's go," Gohan said.

"Oh," Trunks followed immediately.

Gohan also strode in.

"Gohan, you were so angry just now," Trunks said, a bit shocked as they walked.

"It won't be long before you surpass this power," Gohan said seriously.

He wasn't exaggerating.

With the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for training, he was confident.

Trunks would soon become stronger, surpassing the power Gohan had just shown, and then reach even higher heights.

After walking for a while, they stopped in front of a big door.

Gohan looked up and saw a clock hanging right above the door.

Mr. Popo said, "Gohan, this is the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."

"The flow of time in the Time Chamber is different from outside. Spending a year inside is just one day outside."

"Remember, everyone can only use it for two days in their lifetime. Keep track of the time. If you exceed it, the door will disappear, and you won't be able to get out."

Gohan nodded, "Yes, I understand."

Mr. Popo added, "But I'm probably overthinking it. It's impossible for someone to stay in there for two years. Haha, even Goku was only able to stay inside for a few months."

Gohan: "..."

"That time there was no threat to deal with, but this time we have no option left," said Gohan.

"You are right, Gohan," said Mr. Popo with a nod.

"Okay, let's go in," Mr. Popo said, pushing open the door to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

"Is there really such a magical place in the world?" Trunks stuck his head in and saw it was a vast, white world.
