Chapter 7: Goal after goal after goal

The tension was palpable as the Death Note and Vinland Saga teams stepped onto the pitch. On one side, the schemers and tacticians from Death Note. On the other, the warriors of Vinland Saga.

Team Death Note:

Light Yagami, L, Near, Mello, Ryuk, Rem, Misa, Teru Mikami, Watari, and Soichiro Yagami.

Substitutes: Near, Mello, and Watari.

Team Vinland Saga:

Thorfinn, Askeladd, Thorkell, Canute, Bjorn, Snake, Einar, Leif Erikson, Floki, and Garm.

Substitutes: Snake, Leif Erikson, and Floki.

The referee's whistle echoed across the pitch. Light started with the ball, his sharp eyes scanning the field.

Ryuk floated nearby, his unsettling laughter audible. "You think your genius will win this for you, Light?"

Light smirked, dribbling forward. "Genius always wins."

Before Light could make much progress, Thorkell charged forward like a raging bull. His massive frame cast a shadow over Light.

"Move aside, boy!" Thorkell roared, using his sheer strength to tackle the ball away and send Light tumbling.

Ryuk laughed harder. "Well, that didn't last long."

Thorkell passed the ball to Thorfinn, who used his agility to weave past L and Soichiro with ease. "This is nothing compared to real battles," Thorfinn muttered, launching the ball toward the net.

Rem appeared just in time, her long arms extending to block the shot.

Rem passed the ball to Ryuk, who floated lazily down the field, balancing the ball on his nose. "Hey, this is kind of fun," he mused, flicking the ball toward Misa.

Misa caught it midair with a perfect kick, giggling as she sprinted forward. "Watch me score for you, Light!"

But Askeladd was ready. With a sly grin, he intercepted Misa's shot with a clever flick of his foot. "Naïve," he said simply, sending the ball back downfield.

Askeladd passed to Canute, who, despite his royal demeanor, showcased surprising skill. "All things must fall into place," Canute murmured, dribbling carefully past Near.

He set up the perfect shot for Bjorn, who smashed the ball into the net with a booming kick.

"Goal! Vinland Saga leads 1-0!" Tanaka announced.

Light adjusted his strategy, calling for substitutes. Near and Mello entered the game, replacing Soichiro and Watari.

Near immediately made an impact, his small frame darting between Thorkell's legs to steal the ball. "Predictable," he said calmly, passing to L.

L, hunched over with his usual awkward gait, carried the ball forward. His unorthodox movements confused Garm, and L chipped the ball over to Ryuk.

Ryuk, cackling, delivered a deadly shot that bounced off the crossbar and into the goal.

"Goal! Death Note ties it 1-1!"

Death Note pressed their advantage, with Light coordinating the team like pieces on a chessboard.

Light passed to Mello, who used his raw aggression to barrel through Snake and Bjorn. "Out of my way!" Mello growled, firing a shot that Thorkell barely deflected.

The ball rebounded to Rem, who volleyed it into the net.

"Goal! Death Note takes the lead, 2-1!"

Thorkell, frustrated, bellowed, "Enough playing around!" He charged down the field, dragging several players along with him.

Askeladd took advantage of the chaos, slipping through unnoticed. Thorkell launched the ball with all his might, and Askeladd redirected it into the goal with a smooth header.

"Goal! Vinland Saga ties it 2-2!"

The game grew more intense as the teams traded goals.

L scored a brilliant goal for Death Note, using his quick thinking and unexpected movements to trick Thorfinn and Snake.

Moments later, Thorfinn responded, his speed and precision allowing him to bypass Near and Ryuk to score a powerful equalizer.

With the score tied at 3-3, the tension was unbearable.

Light substituted Misa back in, confident she could make a difference.

Misa surprised everyone by using her charm to distract Garm and Snake. "Don't you want to let me through?" she teased, slipping past them to set up Light for an easy goal.

"Goal! Death Note takes the lead, 4-3!"

But Vinland Saga wasn't done yet. Canute rallied his team, his quiet authority inspiring Thorfinn and Askeladd to push harder.

Askeladd feinted past Ryuk, passing to Thorkell, who unleashed a thunderous kick. The ball sailed into the net, tying the game 4-4.

In the final moments, Thorfinn intercepted a pass from Light and sprinted toward the goal. With a devastating strike, he sealed the match.

"Goal! Vinland Saga wins, 5-4!"

The whistle blew, and Team Vinland Saga erupted in cheers, their hard-fought victory secured.

"Looks like brute strength wins this time," Thorkell laughed.

Light adjusted his tie below his red jersey, his face calm despite the loss. "Enjoy your victory. Next time, I'll plan better."

The pitch was alive with anticipation as Team Attack on Titan wearing their red kits and Team One Piece wearing yellow kits took their positions. On one side were humanity's last defenders, with speed, strength, and unyielding will. On the other were the fearless pirates of the seas, full of creativity, flair, and unparalleled power. The match promised chaos, brilliance, and unforgettable moments.

Attack on Titan:

Eren, Levi, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Hange, Zeke, Reiner, Annie, and Erwin.

Substitutes: Jean, Hange, and Zeke.

One Piece:

Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp, Robin, Franky, Chopper, Jinbei, and Brook.

Substitutes: Nami, Brook, and Chopper

Eren started with the ball, immediately channeling his aggressive energy into an attack. He flicked the ball into the air with a deft touch, performing a quick around-the-world to evade Jinbei.

Jinbei chuckled. "You've got guts, kid," he said, stepping forward to block Eren's next move.

Eren rolled the ball with the sole of his foot, cutting inside with a sharp elastico. Before Jinbei could react, Eren unleashed a trivela shot from just outside the box.

The ball curved beautifully toward the top-right corner, but Franky leapt into action, his robotic arms stretching to deflect it with his forearm.

Luffy intercepted the deflection and launched a counterattack. With his Gomu Gomu no Mi powers, he stretched his legs, performing a series of rapid stepovers to confuse Levi.

Levi, unimpressed, slid in with precision, but Luffy hopped over the challenge. "Rubber wins again!" Luffy grinned, performing a rainbow flick to get past Mikasa.

From 30 yards out, Luffy unleashed a knuckleball shot. The ball wobbled unpredictably through the air, slamming into the net despite Erwin's desperate dive.

"Goal! One Piece leads 1-0!" Tanaka's voice boomed over the loudspeakers.

Levi glared at Eren. "Stop messing around. Let's take control."

Levi and Mikasa linked up in midfield, their coordination razor-sharp. Mikasa performed a Cruyff turn to evade Zoro, passing to Levi, who executed a flawless roulette to bypass Sanji.

With space opening up, Levi took a shot from 25 yards out. He struck it with precision, using the outside of his boot for a trivela. The ball bent around Franky and clipped the post before finding the back of the net.

"Goal! Attack on Titan ties it 1-1!"

Minutes later, Eren drove forward again, performing a Sombrero Flick over Robin. As he entered the box, Zoro charged in for a tackle but mistimed it, sending Eren flying.

"Foul! Free kick to Attack on Titan!"

Eren stood over the ball, 35 yards out. He unleashed a knuckleball free kick with devastating force. The ball dipped and swerved, but Franky managed to punch it away.

The rebound fell to Reiner, who attempted a bicycle kick. His shot was powerful, but it flew just over the bar.

Substitutes were made as Hange, Jean, and Zeke entered the game for Attack on Titan. Their fresh energy brought chaos to the pitch.

Hange intercepted a pass from Nami, using her unorthodox dribbling to weave through Jinbei and Robin. She flicked the ball into the air and attempted an audacious volley from 40 yards out.

The shot screamed toward the net, but Franky extended his arm to tip it over the bar.

On the resulting corner kick, Zeke rose high above everyone, his towering presence allowing him to connect with a power header. The ball smashed into the net.

"Goal! Attack on Titan ties it again, 2-2!"

The game exploded with action.

Luffy attempted another knuckleball shot from midfield, which Erwin barely parried.

On the counterattack, Mikasa performed a heel chop, cutting past Sanji and Zoro. She unleashed a finesse shot from outside the box, curling the ball into the top-right corner.

"Goal! Attack on Titan leads 3-2!"

But One Piece wasn't done. Brook, now substituted in, used his speed to outrun Reiner. He chipped the ball to Sanji, who performed a rabona shot to equalize.

"Goal! One Piece ties it, 3-3!"

In the 80th minute, Zeke used his raw power to muscle past Jinbei and Robin. He unleashed a dipping volley from 30 yards out, catching Franky off guard.

"Goal! Attack on Titan takes the lead, 4-3!"

With only minutes left, One Piece threw everything forward. Luffy attempted a long-range knuckleball, but Erwin saved it.

In the dying seconds, Zoro intercepted a pass from Jean. He powered forward, sidestepping Levi with a Maradona turn.

As the defenders closed in, Zoro executed a bicycle kick. The ball rocketed into the net, leveling the score 4-4.

In stoppage time, Sanji delivered a pinpoint cross to Luffy. The captain leapt into the air, twisting his body for a side volley. The shot blasted into the top corner, leaving Erwin with no chance.

"Goal! One Piece wins 5-4!"

Luffy grinned, his rubber arms stretching toward the sky in celebration. "We're the kings of the pitch too!"

Levi crossed his arms, glaring at his team. "Next time, we'll crush them."

Tanaka's voice echoed over the field. "What a game! Up next

Fate v Dragon ball the Fate team and Dragon Ball team lined up, their sheer presence radiating power. Tanaka's voice boomed from the loudspeakers:

"Ladies and gentlemen, the clash of titans is here! Fate versus Dragon Ball! This match is bound to bend reality itself!"

Fate Team: Red

Saber (Artoria Pendragon), Gilgamesh, Archer (EMIYA), Lancer (Cu Chulainn), Rider (Iskandar), Berserker (Hercules), Caster (Merlin), Assassin (Hassan of the Cursed Arm), Shirou Emiya, and Rin Tohsaka.

Dragon Ball Team: Yellow

Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, Trunks, Majin Buu, Android 17, Cell, and Krillin.

Substitutes: Majin Buu, Krillin, and Cell.

Artoria Pendragon, captain of the Fate team, started with the ball. Wielding her unmatched composure, she darted past Vegeta with a well-timed stepover. Vegeta, not one to be outdone, powered forward, attempting to body Artoria off the ball.

With a swift burst of magical energy, Artoria activated Mana Burst, her speed skyrocketing as she left Vegeta in the dust. "You'll have to do better than that, Saiyan Prince!" she called over her shoulder.

Gilgamesh, standing slightly ahead, gestured lazily. "You dare keep the ball from me?" With a snap of his fingers, he opened a portal from the Gate of Babylon, launching golden chains that ensnared the ball.

He flicked the ball behind him toward Archer, who performed a series of rapid flick-ups before launching a volley.

Archer's shot was aimed to perfection, spinning violently through the air. Piccolo leapt to block it, but Rider (Iskandar) appeared out of nowhere, summoning his chariot with Via Expugnatio. He charged into the box, catching the rebound mid-air and executing a diving header.

The ball slammed into the net before Gohan could react.

"Goal! Fate takes the lead, 1-0!"

The Dragon Ball team wasn't about to stay down. Goku picked up the ball in midfield, grinning widely. "Alright, let's turn it up!" Activating Instant Transmission, he blinked past Lancer and Rider, appearing right in front of Berserker.

Berserker roared and lunged forward, but Goku countered with a roulette spin, slipping past the hulking figure.

As Goku approached the goal, Gilgamesh materialized in front of him, attempting to block his path with a golden sword. Goku smirked. "That won't stop me."

With a flash of energy, he performed a rabona shot powered by Kaioken. The ball moved like a rocket, slamming into the net with such force that it shook the posts.

"Goal! Dragon Ball ties it, 1-1!"

The match turned into a spectacle of skill and power.

Artoria sent a long through-ball to Lancer, who used Gáe Bolg to control it mid-air, redirecting it with pinpoint precision toward the net. Android 17 dove to block it, activating his Barrier to deflect the shot.

Moments later, Vegeta intercepted a pass from Rin. Activating Final Flash, he blasted the ball downfield with incredible velocity, sending it toward Gohan.

Gohan controlled it with his chest, then juggled the ball before attempting a bicycle kick. Berserker leapt to block, but Gohan's shot slipped past him and Eraser.

The ball ricocheted off the crossbar, but Frieza appeared out of nowhere, finishing with a scorpion kick.

"Goal! Dragon Ball takes the lead, 2-1!"

The Fate team struck back. Gilgamesh, frustrated by the Saiyans, activated Enuma Elish to break through the Dragon Ball defense. The energy from his ultimate attack propelled the ball forward, forcing Goku and Vegeta to team up to block it.

The deflection landed at Archer's feet. With the calm precision of a master archer, he chipped the ball over the defense to Artoria.

Artoria unleashed Excalibur, channeling its energy into the ball. The resulting knuckleball shot was unstoppable, curving wildly as it smashed into the top corner.

"Goal! Fate ties it, 2-2!"

With the match nearing its conclusion, both teams pushed harder.

Lancer performed a rainbow flick to bypass Piccolo, then crossed to Rider, who executed a trivela shot. Android 17 deflected it, but Gilgamesh was there for the rebound, heading it home.

"Goal! Fate leads, 3-2!"

Dragon Ball responded immediately. Trunks used Burning Attack to power his shot, scoring from an impossible angle.

"Goal! 3-3!"

Moments later, Frieza stole the ball and attempted another long-range knuckleball. Eraser saved it, but Gohan pounced on the rebound, smashing it in with a side volley.

"Goal! Dragon Ball leads, 4-3!"

In the last minute, Merlin, subbed in for Fate, used Illusion Magic to confuse the Dragon Ball defenders. Lancer received the ball and attempted a bicycle kick, but Android 17 deflected it again.

Gilgamesh appeared at the edge of the box, summoning Ea to send a trivela rocket into the net.

"Goal! 4-4!"

With seconds remaining, Goku intercepted a pass and activated Ultra Instinct. Time seemed to slow as he maneuvered past the Fate defense with elegant stepovers and heel flicks.

Reaching the edge of the box, Goku leapt into the air and performed a flying scissor kick. The ball screamed into the top corner, sealing the victory.

"Goal! Dragon Ball wins, 5-4!"

Goku smiled, extending a hand to Artoria. "You're strong. Let's do this again sometime."

Artoria nodded, a faint smile on her lips. "Next time, we won't lose."

Tanaka's voice echoed across the field. "What an incredible match!

"Okay, two teams remain. This is the last match before the next round. Let's make sure we don't end off on a soft note." Tanaka exclaimed through the speaker.

"Fire fierce v Haikyuu are the next two teams."
