God succession system

(A.N. Apologies for the delay. I've been busy the last few weeks due to the holidays, both in my personal life and work. Plus I've been putting a little more focus on my other series slightly due to the part I'm currently at in it. So here is the new chapter, finally, and happy new years and Merry Christmas to everyone!)

"Let them. There's nothing they can do about it, and I've already been collecting enough dirt that half of them can spend the rest of their lives in Azkaban, while the other half may never want to show their faces in public again." Alex stated while summoning a stack of folders on the desk in front of McGonagall.

The newly appointed headmistress cocked a brow as she picked up the top file and leafed through it, only for her brows to rise even higher when she saw what was in them.

"Oh my. You have been a naughty boy Lucius." She tutted disappointingly as she saw everything Lucius Malfoy had been up to, every dirty little secret that he ever tried to bury.

While Lucius had the most....colorful file, the rest were no less damning as she looked through each and every one. A few had been Death Eaters under Voldemort when he rose to power, though not nearly as high ranking as Lucius, others weren't necessarily Death Eaters themselves, but supported Voldemort through resources.

Others, while not directly involved in the dark arts, were guilty of all manner of offences that would destroy their reputations. One was secretly embezzling school funds, which was why they always seemed so tight on money. Another was hand picking young witches to 'employ' as soon as they graduated, in which they would attend to all of his 'needs' until he deemed them too old and fired them.

One other had a severe gambling problem/debts, another had a number of secret mistresses, and so on and so forth.

"If they keep trying to regain control of Hogwarts, just release that to the editors of the Prophet." Alex said as she finished leafing through the documents, which were enough to make even McGonagall smile.

"May I inquire as to how you acquired such.....detailed information?" She asked curiously.

"I AM an emperor you know. That means I readily have entire armies and organizations under my control. One such organization involves a group of fanatical bunnies that will readily slaughter anyone I point them at." Alex told her, referring to the Haulia.

Aside from them though, Alex also had the entire Asoran Underground at his disposal, made up of the best thieves and cutthroats from Azoroth, Tamriel, and everything in between. And the thieves in particular specialized in things like espionage and gathering dirt on others to use as leverage.

Then there were the Nightingales, the three agents handpicked by Alex to wield the powers of the Evergloam that was watched over by Nocturnal. Karliah, Garona and Tess to be exact.

"I see... They seem to be quite.....colorful." McGonagall said after a moment of thought.

"You don't know the half of it..." Alex said while shaking his head, and recalling their latest obsession.

"Is it true that you said you would be financing the school from now on?" The plumpy witch that was professor Sprout suddenly asked Alex, drawing him from his recollection of the Haulia.

"Hm? Oh yeah, I'll finance the school. Firstly, I intend to ensure that every single student has access to the tools and resources they need. No more secondhand items or tools that don't even work. That even extends to broomsticks and such.

"Secondly, we need to discuss the wages of the professors and others in the employ of Hogwarts. I want them all to be properly compensated for their time, expertise and the stress involved in teaching hundreds of magical adolescents."

"I feel it fair to warn you that the amount of money you are talking about is astronomical. Unfortunately, as this is a school and not a business, it would be accurate to say that Hogwarts is an endless money pit." McGonagall told Alex, somewhat reluctantly. She didn't want to try and convince him not to fund the school, but felt it was only fair to warn him what he was getting himself into.

"You mean I'll be spending tons of money every single year with little to no returns on it?" Alex asked her seriously, to which the stern professor nodded.

"EXCELLENT! I have too much money to my name anyways! Hopefully this will take care of some of that!" Alex declared happily, surprising them all.

It was only fair though, considering the wealth Alex had at his disposal. Calling him 'filthy stinking rich' would be an understatement of monumental proportions. Even the richest of kings and emperors looked to be little more than paupers next to him.

"On that note, there's a few more things we need to discuss before I head home for the day. I also plan to expand the curriculum of Hogwarts to broaden the fields available to young witches and wizards, as well as implement actual magical combat into their course studies. It can be a part of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, or an additional class they take from third year up. Also..."

"Well that was fun~!" Alex exclaimed as he emerged from a puff of fog back into Asora, leaving Hogwarts and magical Britain in the capable hands of McGonagall and Amelia Bones for the moment.

Plus he also had the Nightingales stationed there to both investigate, and keep an eye on things. So if anything happens, Alex will hear about it immediately.

Alex then began a slow morning walk through Asora to unwind slightly after the stresses of the last few days. Travelling to Remnant, dealing with Ozpin, receiving hatred for being a 'Faunus', going to Avatar, dealing with Azula, travelling to the South Pole, indulging Hermione's desires, and then being summoned to Hogwarts and having to deal with Rose and the results of her actions since reincarnating.

Alex felt as if he were entitled to a leisurely morning walk.

Of course, being so well known and loved in Asora, Alex was hailed by just about everyone he passed as he walked through this particular settlement.

It was an alien-like area of Asora where mushrooms of all colors grew taller than even redwoods, and was home to some of the strangest creatures Alex had ever seen, not that he even knew this place was here until Artemis showed him and proudly displayed her newly acquired pelts. It was also where the Dunmer, also known as the Dark Elves, had established themselves in Asora.

This region, recently dubbed Terrawind, was the most like their home region of Morrowind in Tamriel. The biggest difference was that the region was not covered in Ash from the perpetually erupting Red Mountain, making it far more hospitable than their homeland.

Everywhere Alex went throughout their capital city, he was hailed and shown respect by the Dunmer before he returned their greetings with a smile and greetings of his own.

After wandering by most of the shops, and receiving plenty of mushroom related goods to take with him, Alex returned to the Misty Manor to join his family.

"Welcome back." Remia warmly greeted Alex as he returned.

"Papa!" Myuu cried out as she happily ran into his arms.

"Hello Remia, Myuu!" Alex said while picking up his eldest child, even as Videl and Kale also showed themselves.

"She wants to be treated like an 'adult', but still acts like a child..." Videl said quietly as she shook her head, while Kale just watched Alex and Myuu enviously.

"I'll explain it when the others join us." Alex said, the words barely leaving his lips before the rest of his children and their mothers appeared from the space-time orb. Minus Anne of course, as she was still working back at Hogwarts.

"There you are! What happened? All we knew was that you called Anne and her doctors to help with something." Rias said while fixing the loose strands of Ryuuto's hair.

"Well, I guess you could say Hermione and I got isekai'd." Alex told them, before settling down to explain while helping the children prepare for school.

He told them that while he and Hermione were.....doing things, something that made all of the older children giggle, they were both forcefully summoned through a series of portals called gates to her home world, by the reincarnator that had been living there. Once there, Alex exposed the reincarnator's wrongdoings, killed her, and basically enacted a hostile take over of the entire government and school there.

"Alright then... If that's everything, then we must be going!" Ravel declared as she rose from her seat suddenly, leading Regal away despite school starting soon.

She knew what Ravel was doing with Regal of course, as she had asked Sona for an extended leave of absence for him at the Academy just the other day. And Sona accepted due to the fact that the things Ravel was teaching him were important for the heir of their house. After all, learning was learning, regardless of the subject.

Though Alex could easily divine what Ravel was up to through his numerous divine authorities, specifically his authority over Plots and Schemes, he elected not to since he trusted his wives. And if he 'peeked' every time they were up to something, then there would be no more surprises for him ever.

So, Alex simply helped his children prepare for school before seeing them off, and then doing the same when it came to the future Huntresses of Remnant when it came time for them to leave as well.

Even as she did so, Alex noted once more the spark of intelligence in her eyes that also felt as if they contained a hint of humor. Not for the first time, he wondered what secrets the cat was hiding from them, since he highly doubted that the summoning cards would have brought him just a regular housecat.

For the moment he decided to let the cat have her secrets though, since she obviously was not malevolent towards his family.

After scratching her behind the ears for a minute, Alex stood and started making his way through the Misty Manor once more.

Though he intended to return to the world of Avatar to explore it and pick up some more people, princess Yue and a certain Blind Bandit, currently Katara, Suki, Ty Lee and the Kyoshi Warriors were busy exploring Asora since it was all so new and alien to them. Of course they had San acting as their guide, which ensured that they were receiving the royal welcome since the siren meant that they were in some way related to Alex. For a minute all they saw was the churning of water and shattering of ice as the sea seemed to boil at Alex's command, before a massive chunk of ice surfaced that was glowing from within.

Though the witches and Huntresses didn't understand the significance of the Avatar, Katara, Ty Lee, Suki and the Kiyoshi warriors all gasped as they looked down at the boy. Azula meanwhile momentarily narrowed her eyes, but dismissed any wayward thoughts a second later.

"He's so young..." Ty Lee uttered in observation.

"Yep." Alex said, noting that Aang at least appeared to be of similar age to his cannon self. Then again, a massive part of his character was that he was a literal child being handed the responsibility of maintaining balance over the entire world.

"I won't get into detail about his backstory, but he's an Airbender who fled the Southern Air Temple, and was plunged into the sea by a vicious storm. His Avatar powers activated unconsciously before he could drown, and froze him along with his sky bison for the last hundred years. So he doesn't know anything about the war, or the genocide of his people."

A somber atmosphere descended upon them at Alex's words, particularly from those who didn't know the specifics about this world and the war that was currently engulfing it.

"Yeah. He should find the village pretty soon, and Airbenders use special breathing techniques to help regulate their body temperature, even in this type of weather." Alex told her, even as he released a flood of semen into Katara's womb.

Truthfully, the only thing he was worried about with Aang was the fact that he and Appa, his flying bison, were truly alone in the world. The only other friend he had left from before being frozen was a man named Bumi, who was now over a hundred years old and ruled the kingdom of Omashu.

Obviously Katara and Sokka wouldn't be able to join him on his journey like before, but Alex had already tried to remedy that through his talk with Iroh.

Even now, Alex could sense Iroh and Zuko sailing ever closer to the South Pole, meaning they should arrive before Aang departs from the little village. And while Zuko would undoubtedly, be a pain at first, hopefully he would be able to mellow out faster this time around.

Perhaps Alex could expedite the process?
