He quickly followed Warring States, who released its grip and led the way.

After running alongside Warring States for a while, they arrived at the foot of the mountain. Warring States unhesitatingly sprinted up the mountain, further confirming Chen Guan's suspicion.

"Had I known Warring States could track Fu Tianji's group, I wouldn't have troubled Kuang Liu," Chen Guan thought internally.

The mountain wasn't particularly high, but quite peculiar, with a stair-like ascent, peak after peak connected, presenting continuous scenes amid the clouds, revealing bizarre flowers and exotic herbs.

Warring States wound left and right through the mountain for quite some time, eventually stopping midway up.

Covered by clouds, Chen Guan couldn't see the path and had to wade through them, following Warring States.

At this moment, Warring States paused, and Chen Guan brushed his hand, stirring the air and revealing the area to be a stone platform halfway up the mountain.

The stone platform was neither touching the heavens nor the earth, with cliffs in front and sheer rock faces behind, offering no possible path.

"Could there be some mechanism here? Did Fu Tianji's group enter the mountain wall?" Chen Guan scrutinized the cliff but found no mechanism.

While puzzled, he saw Warring States bite something in the mist and happily wag its tail furiously.

Chen Guan was baffled, walked over and cleared the mist to find many mushroom-like fungi resembling Shiitake Mushroom growing on the rock, which Warring States immediately started devouring voraciously.

"Are these Shiitake Mushrooms this nourishing?" Chen Guan was astounded and swiftly picked one to eat himself.

Upon entering his mouth, the Shiitake Mushroom instantly turned into Primordial Energy flowing into his belly; Chen Guan felt as if he was directly consuming energy.

"This is incredible!" At that moment, Chen Guan felt like he was about to ascend to immortality, as energy filled his entire body, trying to escape through thousands of pores as though lifting him upwards.

Chen Guan promptly operated the Secret Technique of One, refining and absorbing the energy within.

"I'm going to thrive... This time, I'm really going to soar..." Chen Guan ate one Shiitake Mushroom and felt he was on the verge of leveling up.

There were plenty of Shiitake Mushrooms here; if he gathered them to take back, would he fear ever struggling to level up?

These Shiitake Mushrooms were Heavenly and Earthly Treasures formed by condensed Grotto Heaven Elemental Energy, consuming them was akin to directly ingesting high-quality Solid State Elemental Energy.

Chen Guan brushed away the mist and roughly counted; there were many clusters of Shiitake Mushrooms growing on this stone platform, numbering at least two to three hundred.

"With so many treasures, advancing 20 levels should be more than enough, right?" Chen Guan thought, considering how to store the mushrooms after picking one, when its mist started rising and its internal Grotto Heaven Elemental Energy quickly dissipated.

Within moments, the picked Shiitake Mushroom was left with only a thin transparent husk as flimsy as a cicada's wing, with nothing inside, completely devoid of energy.
