🏟️ Scene 1: A New Challenger Enters
The next morning, the Royal Summoner Tournament council summoned Jemil and his wives to the central arena.
A circular platform now hovered above Celestia Arena — carved from volcanic obsidian and ringed with unmelting ice. Giant statues surrounded it — creatures with horns, fangs, wings, and divine eyes.
Floating above all of them was a colossal lion-headed beast — draped in ethereal armor made of gold and thunderclouds.
"I am Raegar, the Beast King of Old," he growled, voice like thunder. "To proceed, you must earn the right to lead mythical beasts."
"Didn't we already do that?" Kaelira muttered. "I mean, hi. Literal dragon wife?"
"Silence," Raegar boomed. "This is not a fight of blood. It is a trial of soul dominance."
"Soul what now?" Flare blinked.
Raegar pointed at Jemil. "Choose one bonded to fight beside you."
The arena shook. Below, rising from the depths, stood a single, chained enemy:
A fusion beast — part hydra, part tiger, part armored wolf — nearly 20 feet tall, with runes bleeding dark light from its body.
"Your bond will be tested. If it breaks, you both perish."
🔥 Scene 2: Choosing a Partner
Jemil turned to his wives. Five pairs of eyes stared at him. Each one hoping. Each one daring him to pick.
Vel'Zara's expression was impassive, but her tail twitched — a tell.
Kaelira grinned confidently. "You know I can wreck that thing in one hit."
Mira's hands trembled, but her eyes were determined.
Aezha folded her arms. "Let me prove I belong."
Flare was already stretching. "Me. Obviously. Chaos and explosions are my love language."
Jemil looked at each of them and finally said:
"I pick… Mira."
Everyone blinked.
Mira gasped. "Me?!"
"You're the heart," Jemil said gently. "You always hold the bond together. Now you and I are going to protect it."
Flare nodded. "Alright, I accept this… but only if you kiss her before battle."
Jemil blinked. Mira turned beet red.
"Don't—"
Too late. Jemil pulled her in and kissed her forehead gently.
"Let's win."
⚔️ Scene 3: Trial of the Soul Bond
The fusion beast roared — breaking its chains. The arena warped into a primal wasteland, cliffs erupting from the ground, rivers of lava and shadow slicing through the floor.
Jemil and Mira stood back to back. The Bond Crystal lit with gold and white.
"Soul Sync: Mode — Aether Chain!"
[Dual Form Activated]
Wings of mana formed on Mira's back. Jemil's arms were now clad in divine plating.
The fusion beast launched forward, all three of its heads breathing fire, poison, and frost.
Mira summoned a prism shield. Jemil enhanced it mid-air with a fire rune.
"Counter with Crystal Rain!"
Dozens of mirrored light arrows rained from above, stunning the beast temporarily.
Then Jemil moved in — palm glowing.
"Bond Strike: Threaded Devotion!"
A radiant chain formed between Mira and Jemil — and when he punched the beast, the chain dragged Mira's shield into it at full force.
The beast howled in pain.
But it wasn't down yet.
🩸 Scene 4: Broken Focus
Suddenly, the fusion beast shifted. Its shadow lashed out — striking Jemil in the chest.
He staggered.
"Jemil!" Mira screamed, reaching toward him—
But that's when it happened. The bond flickered.
For a moment… Jemil saw not Mira.
He saw a vision of another Mira — chained, crying, burning.
"You let me die," the illusion whispered.
He almost fell to his knees. But then Mira's voice pierced it:
"Hey! Look at me! I'm here — now! You don't protect me alone. We fight together!"
The bond reignited — this time brighter than ever.
"Fusion Override — Guardian's Vow Form!"
Mira's armor turned crystalline, and her shield became a floating fortress. Jemil's eyes blazed with white light.
"Final move," they shouted together.
"Soul Severance: Beast's End!"
They launched forward in synchronized flight — smashing into the fusion beast. The strike exploded in light and silence.
When the light faded… the beast was gone.
👑 Scene 5: A New Title
Raegar's voice echoed again.
"The bond did not falter. The trial is passed."
"You're not so scary for a thunder lion," Mira muttered under her breath.
Raegar growled… then laughed.
"You show courage, child of light. Jemil of Riftbound — you are now recognized as Mythical Beast Commander."
Above them, a divine crest burned into existence — a mark none had seen in centuries.
The crowd gasped. Even the other teams watched in silence.
"This will change the entire tournament," Vel'Zara said quietly.
"Yeah," Flare smirked. "Because now we're not underdogs. We're the storm."
