Chapter 33: Chapter 33: Drag Monsters, Mass Kill, Instant Boss
At night, Marsh entered the dungeon for the fourth time.
This time, the number of his skeleton warriors had increased to 76.
After clearing the dungeon three times before, he had memorized the layout and mechanics like the back of his hand.
As soon as he stepped inside, a brand-new idea formed in his mind.
"Why not try something different?" Marsh mused. "If this works, it might be useful for other dungeons in the future."
With that thought, he immediately took action. His skeleton warriors surged into the mine like a tide.
A large number of monsters in the mine were drawn to the skeleton warriors, but instead of engaging in combat, the warriors simply ran deeper into the dungeon, ignoring their pursuers.
Behind the skeleton warriors trailed an angry horde of goblin monsters, their snarls and growls echoing through the tunnels.
And behind the goblins? Marsh himself, running leisurely, a smirk on his face.
The skeleton warriors led the goblin mob straight to the den of the Mine Wolf King.
The commotion roused the Mine Wolf King, who roared furiously and lunged at the intruders. The skeleton warriors continued to ignore its attacks, focused solely on gathering all the monsters in one place.
Soon, a strange and chaotic scene unfolded—nearly a hundred goblin monsters, along with the enraged Mine Wolf King, crowded the mine tunnels, all chasing after Marsh's skeleton warriors.
Marsh stopped near the mine's entrance, observing his work with a satisfied expression.
The moment all the monsters had been herded into one tight group, Marsh's skeleton warriors suddenly turned and launched an all-out assault.
One goblin mine guard was swiftly killed and flung into the air.
Then came Marsh's move. He activated Corpse Explosion.
The dead goblin's body erupted in a massive blast, shaking the entire mine. Rocks tumbled from the ceiling, and the force of the explosion sent goblin monsters flying in all directions.
The cacophony of explosions continued as Marsh triggered Corpse Explosion ten more times in rapid succession.
The tunnel floor was scarred and cratered from the blasts, and the Mine Wolf King, who had been a towering, menacing figure moments ago, was reduced to a lifeless heap in the chaos.
The system notifications flooded Marsh's vision.

The loot rewards and experience poured in, but Marsh barely glanced at them.
"Not bad," he muttered, satisfied.
At this moment, Marsh leveled up again. A golden glow enveloped him, indicating he had reached Level 14.
He smirked. "That only took five minutes."
The sheer efficiency of his method was astounding—impossible for anyone else.
Still, there was no time to rest. The iron gates of the tunnels creaked open, and another wave of mine wolves spilled into the dungeon.
"Let's keep it going," Marsh said, his tone light. He commanded his skeleton warriors to charge once more, this time deeper into the mine.
---
As the warriors ran through the tunnels, they attracted even more monsters: goblin guards, mine wolves, and everything in between.
By the time they reached the bottom of the mine, Marsh's warriors had gathered a massive horde of over 200 creatures.
And waiting for them at the bottom was the Goblin King.
The Goblin King's slumber was interrupted by the sound of heavy footsteps and growls. It sat up, its expression confused and annoyed.
"What... what is this?"
Marsh grinned. "Surprise, I'm back."
The skeleton warriors stopped running and immediately turned to attack.
Their swords glowed crimson as they activated Furious Blow, cleaving through the closest enemies.
One mine wolf fell instantly, its corpse flying into the air.
Corpse Explosion!
The wolf's body detonated, triggering a chain reaction as other corpses followed.
The roar of explosions was deafening. Dust and debris filled the air, and the ground trembled violently.
Monsters were obliterated in waves. The experience notifications flooded in so fast, Marsh couldn't keep up with them.
The Goblin King, still groggy from being woken up, barely had time to react before being caught in the carnage.
A dozen consecutive Corpse Explosions left it charred and lifeless on the ground, its body crumpling in defeat.
This time, the Goblin King's death was even faster than before. It didn't even have the chance to roar in protest.
Marsh looked down at its lifeless body, shaking his head.
"Don't take it personally," he said softly. "Just three more times, and I promise I won't bother you again."
---
[Kill Goblin King: EXP +40,000]
[Obtain Goblin King's Staff: Bronze Level. Spirit +10, Constitution +10. Mage skill power +3%. Usable at Level 12.]
---
Marsh glanced at his experience bar—it was now 60% full at Level 14.
"One more run should push me to Level 15," he calculated.
Once he reached Level 15, the experience requirements would undoubtedly increase significantly, but Marsh estimated he could hit Level 16 within three more dungeon runs.
Satisfied with his progress, Marsh exited the dungeon and returned to the outside world.
The area outside the dungeon was bustling again, though the crowd was noticeably smaller than before.
Marsh overheard bits of conversation and pieced together that the Dynasty Guild had been causing trouble earlier but had since left.
"Looks like they didn't get any useful information," Marsh thought, smirking to himself.
Instead of heading straight back into the dungeon, he decided to find a secluded spot to meditate and restore his mental energy.
As he sat cross-legged and began to focus, he received an alert from one of his skeleton warriors.
Someone was approaching.
---
Marsh opened his eyes, his senses immediately sharpening.
The footsteps were light but hurried, and the faint sound of armor clinking suggested an adventurer.
A familiar voice called out from the darkness.
"Marsh!"
It was Jeny, the elemental mage he had encountered before.
She approached cautiously, her eyes wide with a mixture of awe and curiosity.
"You've been running this dungeon solo, haven't you?" she asked. "Everyone's been talking about it."
Marsh didn't respond immediately. He simply stared at her, his expression unreadable.
Jeny bit her lip. "You're reckless, you know that? Trying to solo a dungeon like this. If something goes wrong..."
Marsh shrugged. "I don't need anyone slowing me down."
Jeny's hands clenched into fists. "You think you're better than everyone else, don't you?"
Marsh stood, brushing the dust off his cloak. "I don't think. I know."
Before Jeny could respond, Marsh turned and began walking back toward the dungeon entrance, his skeleton warriors following close behind.
Jeny watched him go, her expression conflicted.
"I won't lose to you," she whispered under her breath. "Just wait and see."
---
Back inside the dungeon, Marsh prepared for his next run, already calculating how to improve his efficiency even further.
His skeleton warriors lined up in formation, their crimson eyes glowing in the dim light.
"Let's finish this," Marsh muttered.
And with that, the hunt began again.
