Global Lord: My Undead Can Undergo Fission

Chapter 33: Chapter 33 Crowdfunding a New Trade System

"Everyone, quiet down and let Jia Siwei talk about the situation on his end," Fang Jie said.

Finally, no one else spoke, and Jia Siwei thought for a moment before sending a message, "I haven't been here for long, so I'm not very clear on the details, but I can confirm that the Human Faction is thriving, and their strength is formidable."

"However, the humans also have many enemies that I can't quite figure out. I only know that the composition of the human side is somewhat similar to the Middle Ages, controlled by the King in league with the Nobles whose status is very high."

"Additionally, the people in this world have many powerful Cultivation Methods, allowing them to become very strong. I've heard that once some people meet certain conditions, they can also possess abilities akin to the Lord's Cottage, so they are quite envious of us."

At this point, Jia Siwei felt some regret.

If only he could have persisted a bit longer and managed to maintain his abilities. The fact that the local Nobles envied his abilities so much was evidence that such capabilities were far from simple.

After a pause, Jia Siwei continued, "I have now figured out some matters and plan to develop well within the Human Camp. I'll establish a mercantile group here soon, and capable friends can come to sign up with me."

Well, there he goes starting to recruit underlings already.

It had to be said that some humans had extraordinary abilities that ordinary people couldn't match. Fang Jie shook his head; compared to these individuals, his own capabilities might as well be considered worthless.

"After all that, what exactly do they need over there?"

"Right, hurry and tell us, or how can we help you?"

There were plenty of people looking to invest, considering this was a great opportunity to get in touch with native major powers.

"I'll give you a list of items that those Nobles and many important figures like. It might not be comprehensive yet, but I'll continue to update it. If there's anything you need, I'm also open to trading."

"Alright, I won't say much more. Using functions in the market here is charged by time, and I can't stay too long. I have a task to carry out now and need some military strength, so everyone, please lend a hand."

Alright, after so much talking, this was it.

But many were willing to help, for in such circumstances, those providing assistance could gain some advantages later on.

Fang Jie initially found that none of the various supplies on that list were available on his side. Or if they were, he hadn't paid much attention to them, as he didn't need them and hadn't asked the Skeletons to collect them.

It appeared he would have to start taking these things seriously.

Seeing Jia Siwei ask for troops, Fang Jie didn't even think twice before saying, "I have plenty of troops to spare. I can give you one thousand Skull Soldiers, and we can deduct it from the cost of doing business later."

Everyone envied him; he was a big shot who could easily produce several thousand, even tens of thousands, of Skull Soldiers.

The others, even if they had joined the Undead Camp, were powerless to do the same.

Not to mention that they lacked the buildings to create Skull Soldiers, even if they did, they probably wouldn't have that many Corpses. Now, Fang Jie had expanded the business, making it difficult for others to sell Skeleton Labor, and the prices couldn't be very high.

"I'd like to take up your offer, but this is the Human Camp, and having Skull Soldiers with me would likely lead to being surrounded and attacked."

Although Jia Siwei was tempted, he really had to pass. Using Skull Soldiers could not only jeopardize connecting with higher-ups but could also result in being captured by the humans.

What he wanted was proper development without a Territory of his own. His aim was self-improvement and to establish his own power.

He didn't want a quick fix, so he had to refuse, albeit painfully.

"Not bad at all, you are someone who aims big. We were not considerate enough," a sarcastic voice piped up.

"How about we chip in instead? Each person can provide a few farmers, and we should be able to gather enough."

Fang Jie quickly added, "Let's say I provide them, whoever contributes troops, I'll exchange two Skull Soldiers for one of them."

That was already the base price, and everyone knew that it took two Corpses to create one Skull Soldier. Many were eager to sign up at the prospect of such a favorable deal.

"Thank you, Boss Fang Jie, I'll be sure to repay you in the future," Jia Siwei said promptly.

"As long as you establish a solid business network, just give us a lift when the time comes. We're from the same region, after all; we can't be worse off than people from other regions."

Though everyone could be competitors or even enemies in the future, that wasn't the case now.

Leaving a good impression now made business easier later on. Otherwise, with the high prices Fang Jie was charging for Skull Soldiers, most people would have grievances.

It wasn't enough for the cost-performance ratio to be appropriate; the key was the cost price, along with the factor of resentment towards the wealthy.

After Fang Jie said this, many of the previously existing resentments dissipated. A lot of praise started flowing, giving Fang Jie himself a somewhat elated feeling.

"We're facing a great battle now, but once it's over, I'll lower the trade prices for everyone."

With those words, another wave of praise ensued. Everyone was facing the proximity of a great battle, and many were in significant danger. Of course, there were some curses too, but Fang Jie wasn't one to indulge them and simply blocked those voices.

Over a thousand troops were gathered swiftly, and Fang Jie also sent over more than a hundred Low-quality Wooden Puppets that he had on hand.

Though they were useless for himself, they differed greatly for others. Wooden Puppets didn't need food and wouldn't draw human hostility, making them a much better value proposition than other troops.

The atmosphere in the whole discussion area suddenly became much more harmonious than before.

"What happened? Have you already conducted the investigation so quickly?" It was evening now, and another Skeleton had returned.

Fang Jie opened the beast skin and saw written on it, "Werewolves have formed an alliance with Arrow Pigmen and Lizardmen, totaling over a hundred thousand troops, with more than a thousand at Black Iron level, and they'll be attacking in the next couple of days."

It was Fang Hao's judgment, but Fang Jie believed it – after all, the other party was more professional than him.

"These damned Beastmen, they sure move quickly. It's uncertain when they'll strike, but we must prepare in advance." He had been busy all day, continuously performing Fission on the Skull Soldiers.

He could now perform Fission on a hundred Skull Soldiers simultaneously, and he truly had a substantial number of troops at his disposal.

"This is an opportunity to retain more Black Iron Corpses and create more Black Iron level troops. Even if they are all Zombies, that would be good enough. Now the question is, how to hold onto the opponent."

Fang Jie pondered, feeling somewhat anxious about just Fang Hao scouting ahead alone.
