Global Lord: My Undead Can Undergo Fission

Chapter 20: Chapter 20 Successful Job Change and Building a Grave

The scenery before my eyes shattered bit by bit as if it were a broken mirror.

By the time I could see clearly, Fang Jie found himself already outside the Professional Tower. Although he stood at the entrance, he realized he could no longer enter.

Looking up, the decreasing time on the Professional Tower was still slow yet firm, almost identical to when he had entered. Could it be that time outside stood still while he was inside?

Initially, Fang Jie had been somewhat worried about the safety of his territory, but it seemed there was no need for concern now.

Name: Fang Jie

Camp: Undead

Profession: Undead Mage

Talent: Undead Splitting Level 1 (Unique), Super-speed Recovery Level 1

Level: Apprentice

Strength: 1

Agility: 1

Constitution: 2

Intelligence: 3

Spirit: 2

Magic Power: 30

Skills: Summon Skeleton, Black Lotus Meditation Technique, Summoning Skeleton Soldier, Negative Energy Arrow, Death Aura Impact, White Bone Spike

Items: Soldier Card: Iron Armor Zombie 100

Opening the panel, I noticed that my talents had become two, and the word "temporary" had vanished. Constitution had increased by one, but because there was no improvement in Strength or Agility, it didn't feel like much of a change.

My Intelligence had reached three points, Magic Power had risen to thirty, and Spirit had increased by one, becoming two points.

Fang Jie realized that his senses seemed sharper than ever. It was just unfortunate that he didn't bring out the remaining Magic Gems and the Magic Wand; those items simply vanished when he left.

Using his abilities to summon Skull Soldiers was more efficient regarding the corpses but wasted time, and with his insufficient magic, the strength of the Skull Soldiers was not strong. It appeared the territory was still very useful.

Then, he reviewed the three new skills he had just learned.

Negative Energy Arrow: Condenses death power into an energy arrow to launch an attack, which does additional damage to living beings, consuming 2 points of magic.

Death Aura Impact: Condenses a massive amount of death energy to launch an impact forward, which has a certain corrosive effect on lifeforms, consuming 5 points of magic.

White Bone Spike: Summons a white bone spike that suddenly stabs out from beneath the ground, attacking the target, consuming 2 points of magic.

Raising his hand, a pitch-black arrow shot swiftly from Fang Jie's hand. It struck a tree, directly creating a hole and then the death power began to spread and corrode.

"This attack power could probably compare with some small handguns, perhaps somewhat lacking, but the actual damage is greater."

Death power is not as simple as physical damage; it's more lethal.

Then he used Death Aura Impact, and a vast black aura coalesced in front of Fang Jie, then pushed forward like a wall. That pushing force could even shove away the Skeletons in front of him.

Looking at the corroded state of the surrounding vegetation, one could understand what the additional damage was all about.

Lastly was the White Bone Spike. Suddenly a white bone thrust from the ground, piercing straight upwards.

"Truly cunning," Fang Jie widened his eyes, looking at a Skull Soldier that had been impaled. The Skull Soldier was not damaged, but that spot, it really made one wince just by looking at it.

Unlike the energy attack of the Negative Energy Arrow, this White Bone Spike was a pure physical attack.

The bone held for a few seconds before shattering and then gradually disappearing. So it was still made of Magic Power.

The only problem was probably just one, and that was the slow pace of cultivation brought by the Meditation Method.

Fang Jie experimented a bit and could feel the effect of the Meditation Method on himself, but to achieve a noticeable improvement, he had to be persistent. Seeing a quick effect in a short period of time was impossible.

"Let's head back. Now we'll split the forces and take advantage of the darkness to hunt more creatures, clearing the surroundings. Who knows what the situation will be after the protection period ends."

Fang Jie divided his forces, taking only two thousand Skeletons toward his own territory.

Back in his Territory, he immediately felt a sense of relief.

"Merge the Solid Stone, build graves, and thankfully there's no need for Hardwood, or else we wouldn't have been able to build them." Fang Jie placed the grave area far from his residence, at a very distant location. Can't help it, the corpses were simply disgusting.

A group of Skeleton Labor surged forward and started rapid construction. After half a day, the grave was completed.

Grave (Black Iron) Level 1: Zombie type troop conversion building that provides Zombie type troops when resources are invested.

Upgrade requires 300 units of Solid Stone, 300 Corpses, 100 Black Iron Corpses

Zombie Level 1: Level (Apprentice)

Recruitment requires: 2 Corpses, 3 Spirit Points

Rotten Corpse Level 1: Level (Apprentice) The body carries the Undead virus, capable of infecting creatures, with a certain probability of turning infected creatures into Zombies.

Recruitment requires: 3 Corpses, 5 Spirit Points

Iron Armor Zombie Level 1: Level (Black Iron) Skill: Iron Armor

Recruitment requires: 1 Black Iron Corpse, 10 Spirit Points

The Corpses required for the next upgrade were temporarily unavailable. However, the graves were quite satisfactory, as Fang Jie wouldn't create ordinary Zombies or Rotten Corpses because Zombies are too useless and Rotten Corpses are too disgusting.

Fang Jie was even worried whether the virus from the Rotten Corpses would affect him, even having changed his profession, he didn't dare to ignore it.

On the other hand, Iron Armor Zombies were very good, with the skill Iron Armor, it was evident that it was a defense type of skill. Zombies, already strong on defense, would probably become even harder with this skill.

Most importantly, this was a Black Iron Level troop, and now his territory also had Black Iron Species.

It's just that recruiting required Black Iron Level Corpses, which was somewhat astonishing. In his territory, there were two Black Iron Level Corpses remaining, those left by the Goblin Lords.

"Forget it, let's create them," Fang Jie waved his hand.

However, as soon as the Corpses were placed inside, Fang Jie laughed because one Goblin Corpse actually counted as two units. It was probably due to their large size.

One Corpse could create two, and two Corpses would make four; add in two Fissions, and that would be sixteen.

Sixteen Black Iron Level combat forces, that was already very powerful. Having witnessed the combat power of twelve Goblin Lords, Fang Jie would not underestimate these Black Iron Level beings.

If it really came down to it, wasn't there also a Soldier Card, a hundred Iron Armor Zombies, and after Fission, that would be two hundred.

But after some thought, Fang Jie still gave up, better to use the card later. His territory wasn't short of troops; all he needed was some time.

However, if he encountered a single person again, this card could become a trump card for a turnaround.

Last time it wasn't used due to the restrictions, but it was unlikely that every time danger arose, he would be restricted, not to mention that summoning them would have the same restrictions.
