Chapter 652: Chapter D237: The Narrow Gate (Part 2)
'Is that the other side of your personality? It seems quite lively as well.'
Faced with the genuine murderous intent from the Hero and another version of herself, the owner of the massive wings remained unperturbed. His voice was still gentle, even carrying a hint of faint admiration.
'But it's okay, although not now, in the future, we'll surely have plenty more opportunities to converse.'
The four wings, one black and three white, slowly unfurled, covering the firmament at the end of the Big Snake's line of sight.
'By then, you'll also understand why Destiny (Saintess) stands by my side.'

Ancient Royal City, Central Temple Group.
The battle had already ended. Those captured in the Key Changing were firmly bound, as the Spirit God Mage ordered other Professionals to capture the remnants of the Black Gate and the surviving Winged People one by one.
"Pastor, why don't we..." someone suggested with a malicious gleam in their eye, the tone carrying an unmistakable murderous intent, only to be met with a firm shake of the head from the Spirit God Mage.
"The war is over—at least temporarily over." He spoke with a slightly heavy tone, his gaze like a torch sweeping over all the Professionals present.
"No matter if they're villains or traitors, even if they're simple Magic Creatures, now they have only one identity, and that's as prisoners who surrendered.
"I won't ask you to treat them with good manners, but at the very least, the doctrines I believe in do not allow for more bloodshed."
As the Pastor, even outside the Church, the Spirit God Mage still held unshakeable prestige.
No one questioned his words, and the instructed Professionals dutifully executed his commands.
Witnessing this scene, he also slightly relaxed, muttering to himself:
"...it seems I haven't let down those who entrusted me."
Everything seemed to have truly reached a conclusion. Recalling the Hero who had gone to the Capital, the Spirit God Mage couldn't help but turn back again, looking towards the serene central area.
There, lies the resting place of the Ancient Angel King, the place where the Divine Knowledge Saintess was imprisoned, the location of the Gate of Heaven.
Even though during the earlier confrontation there had been no movement from that area, the Spirit God Mage, as the strongest present, could clearly sense the lurking threat within that space.
He understood that inside lay a terrifying presence that could effortlessly shatter all his accomplishments if it so much as stirred.
'But, worrying won't help, will it…'
Shaking his head, the Spirit God Mage turned around, ready to leave.
Just then, from the empty void, a pure white, like pristine ice and snow, light began to seep through.
As if the luxurious lights of a theater had been instantly illuminated, the brilliant, cold light pervaded the entire sanctuary.
Yet no one could cast a surprised glance, not even could anyone raise peculiar feelings.
Under the shroud of this light, everything came to a standstill, even the flow of thoughts became frozen.
Then, the light receded like a tide, converging towards the deepest part of the central sanctuary, leaving only a seemingly everlasting lightless night behind.
[Hero casts Forbidden Curse: Eternal Winter Night of Heavenly Silence Star]
The legendary spell that decays the stars and leads the world into destruction.
Winter never ends, the Sun no longer rises, everything reaches the apocalypse.
Until an unnamed Dancing Girl steps onto a deserted stage under the illumination of the Holy Fire.
Effect: Targets the concept to adjust the probability of possibilities of destiny, when all possibilities diminish to zero, destiny ceases to operate, reaching total annihilation at the apocalypse.
However, it can also be adjusted to contain a single possibility, creating a guaranteed sliver of vitality.

The Hero gazed at the floating ruins below.
The effect of the Magic Potion had ended, the massive form of Holy Mother Peak and infinite Magic Power had disappeared, leaving only the final seed lingering within her own body.

And now, all that remaining strength had been compressed into a small array, quietly hovering in her palm.
Her premonition told her that her clarity would not last long.
After this brief afterglow fades, perhaps in a few minutes, or maybe just a few tens of seconds, her consciousness would completely submerge, sinking into boundless weakness.
But now, the Hero felt an unprecedented clarity.
Her view seemed to be infinitely elevated, not in a physical sense, but in a concept, dimension, or some deeper perspective she herself couldn't explain.
She saw the old Royal City below her feet, her eyes seeing not only ruins and rubble, captured Key Changing, and those Kingdom Army sergeants blankly looking up.
She could also see the "possibilities" of this city, and all its inhabitants.
These were faintly glowing strands, connecting these existences to the future, outlining countless untold branches and endings.
She could even see, within that city center's door, the existence that did not belong to this space—
Despite being in different worlds, the Four-winged King looked up to meet her eyes; under those wings stood the immobile Divine Knowledge Saintess, as if awaiting some outcome;
