“I see… But we have to make checks first. Our methods are tough, you might even break if you are lucky enough or die if you aren’t. We can’t have rogue shinobi running amok in the village at these times. Well, it’s not like as if we lack capable ninja that can take you down easily.” Shikaku said as Mura bowed himself but was kicked by Gilgamesh before he could even complete the posture.
“One more thing, don’t send Anbu to watch him while he’s with me, or ill use them for practice. In fact, I don’t mind, but at least I told you.” Gilgamesh concluded as he collected his pay in an envelope on the table.
“If there’s nothing else I’ll leave.” Gilgamesh said and turned to leave but was stopped by a masked ninja who flashed to his position.
“Lord Third, as one of your personal handpicked guards, I can’t stand by and hear you being addressed as nothing more than a light suggestion. You are one of the strongest Hokage to live and arguably the strongest Kage alive, but this kid runs his mouth because he might be a little more talented than his peers. Allow me to correct him a little!” The masked ninja finished and raised his hand to strike Gilgamesh but lost all consciousness and fell before the little boy.
“Like I said, I don’t mind.” Gilgamesh said with his eyes turned to The Third in a wary manner, but his body exuded normalcy as he walked on the unconscious body of the masked ninja and left the office.
“Lord Third, surely I am not under genjutsu right?” Shikaku asked desperately for confirmation.
Mura, The Third and Shikaku watched as the masked ninja laid his complaint before The Third but saw him lie unconsciously before Gilgamesh and his body were disrespected in the process.
Within that same minute, The Third appeared behind Mura and knocked him out cold.
“What happened here must not leave here.” The Third remarked.
“Definitely.” Shikaku responded as he picked up Mura’s body.
The Third locked the door and inspected the body of the Anbu ninja. He palmed his face, shook his head and passed his chakra through the unconscious ninja.
The masked ninja woke up as if he hadn’t fainted a while ago and continued his speech, “…this insolent boy. Huh? Where is he? What happened?”
“My goodness, he really got you? That kid must be something special. To be able to not only master Kurenai's top-class genjutsu but even modify it to the point one can say he might be the best genjutsu user in the village after Kurenai, excluding the Uchiha obviously. Ha, you should consider retirement son.” The Third said as he went back to his seat.
“Huh? Special? Genjutsu?” The masked ninja asked himself as he stood up.
“Ah, this one is gone. Just wait, let it sink in. Let your brain catch up.” Shikaku said lazily as he made Mura’s body sit up against the wall.
“Hmm? What do you mean? Where is that insolent child? Where? Where… don’t tell me…” The masked ninja said as his eyes widened behind his mask.
“Finally caught up? It was amazing watching you put two and two together. The boy could have killed you several times already. What a scary thought.” Shikaku said to himself and those present in the room.
“The reason Gilgamesh pulled this off in such a clean manner is that everyone underestimates him because of his childlike features which he does not fail to exploit, what a sly fox!” The Third commented.
“You… what happened here? You are not to disclose to anyone, understood?” The Third asked sternly with a bit of his chakra pressure which awakened Mura.
“S-surely, I will do as you have commanded Lord Third.” The masked ninja responded.
“Don’t be too hung up on that. You should take a lesson from this and never underestimate anyone or a situation, do you understand?” The Third asked.
“I understand. I lost due to my shortcomings and my enemy took advantage of that.” The masked ninja responded as he took a kneeling position.
The Third released a sigh and palmed his face once more, “…He is not your enemy, but rather an asset of the village just like every other leaf ninja. Now you see why he can talk like that even though that doesn’t warrant rudeness, but the strong will live however they want and the weak can only complain. The same as those with power can shape the world to their liking, the powerless can only watch. But that doesn’t mean the roles can’t be reversed, after all, we are leaf ninjas that carry the will of fire! Keep your head up!”
The masked ninja was moved to tears as he wiped his tears behind his mask, “Yosh, I understand Lord Third!”
Releasing another sigh, The Third leaned back on his chair, “Now take this one to our intelligence department. He is a rogue ninja, he will have to be checked properly, and if there’s nothing wrong you can proceed to test him as a chunin ninja.”
“Understood.” The masked ninja said as he flickered from his position to the back of Mura to knock him out again.

‘The speed at which my genjutsu barrier is being released has gotten faster. I wanted to bleed in this mission so I could test the medical ninja arts I learned, but I guess another opportunity will present itself. For now, I can use the wind gale jutsu without hand signs, it would be better if I can concentrate better and use my golden flames without the need for hand signs.’ Gilgamesh thought mid-journey as he jumped and ran on buildings and rooftops.
‘I can’t do much about my body since it’s still developing so I can only increase my mastery in jutsu. My mastery in seals and inscription is getting to the level where there are not enough books in the ninja library to expand my horizons. I think the rest are either classified or with certain clans. If I can understand my chakra natures well enough, I don’t need to buy ninja scrolls, I can just develop jutsu tailored to my needs.’ Gilgamesh concluded as he stopped his journey in a certain training area where someone was just watching the clouds go by.
