Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world

Chapter 283: She is back?

Brandon glanced at her from the corner of his eye, his lips curving into the faintest smile.

He didn't say anything, but the way his thumb brushed lightly against the back of her hand told her more than words ever could.

Florence let out a soft laugh, unable to contain herself "You know, if anyone saw us right now, they would probably think we're a couple who's been doing this for years."

Brandon's chest rumbled with a quiet chuckle "Maybe that's not such a bad thing."

Her heart skipped and she tilted her head up slightly, golden eyes glimmering with a mix of mischief and tenderness. "Careful, Brandon… If you keep saying things like that, I might start falling for you even more."

He squeezed her hand just a little tighter, his gaze lifting toward the stars "Maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing either."

Florence let out a giggle and she leaned in closer, pressing herself against him with a content sigh.

For the first time in a long while, she felt like she wasn't chasing something unreachable... he was right here, beside her, his hand in hers.

Florence stayed nestled against him, her cheek pressed to the warmth of his shoulder.

The faint scent of his skin mixed with the cool night breeze made her heart flutter.

Her thumb brushed against his knuckle as their hands stayed entwined.

However, at this time, the peace was shattered by a ringtone.

Her mobile phone, lying on the mat just beside her knee, buzzed and vibrated faintly against the fabric.

Her lips pressed together as her gaze fell upon the name glowing on the screen 'Kiera'.

Her expression changed and for a moment she simply stared, as if thinking whether to answer or not.

Finally, with a subtle exhale, she reached out and picked up the mobile, bringing it close to her ear.

Brandon, meanwhile, simply glanced at her from the corner of his eye.

"...Hello?"

A murmur of another voice came through, faint enough that Brandon couldn't make out the words, only the cadence.

Florence listened, nodding once or twice and she gave a short, low laugh at something the caller said, then her tone grew softer again.

After a few more exchanges, Florence pulled the phone away from her ear.

Her thumb hovered for a brief second before she tapped the red icon and ended the call.

Placing the phone back down onto the mat, Florence turned her head toward Brandon "It is Eira's big sister… Kiera."

"…Oh."

Brandon slowly nodded, turning his gaze toward the darkened fields ahead.

He took a sip of the wine before adding, almost absentmindedly, "I almost forgot that you have another daughter."

Florence blinked at that, then quickly lowered her gaze.

A faint blush colored her cheeks, half-hidden by the dim silver of the moonlight.

She tucked a loose strand of blonde hair behind her ear and replied with a soft laugh, "Well… I am quite old after all."

Brandon tilted his head, "You don't look old at all. You look stunning…"

The blush on Florence's cheeks deepened noticeably.

She quickly reached for the wine bottle near him, if only to busy her hands, but Brandon gently took it before she could and raised it to his lips.

He tipped it back, savoring the taste, then lowered it with a sigh.

"You are like this wine," he said, swirling the liquid at the bottom of the bottle. "You only grow finer as you get older. Refined. Rich. Impossible not to savor."

Her face flushed crimson, burning hotter than the wine in her blood "You… Flatterer."

She smacked his arm lightly, though her palm lingered a moment longer than necessary against his sleeve.

Brandon burst out laughing, "Hahaha..."

Florence tried to maintain a pout, but the corners of her lips betrayed her.

She leaned back on his shoulder and closed her eyes for a moment.

Next day-

*tak* *tak*

The morning air was crisp, carrying with it the faint hum of ether currents that trailed in the wake of the ethercraft.

Standing on the field, Brandon glanced up at the ethercraft flying up in the sky as the wind brushed his hair.

'And... there she goes...' A sigh escaped his lips and he turned to look at Eira, who was standing beside him.

"Your sister is back; are you really not going to meet her?"

Eira rolled her eyes "Nah."

He shook his head helplessly and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her closer "Well... i am also leaving today."

Eira nodded her head "Hm."

His gaze condensed "But before I leave, I need to have a good talk with Dhayun... Every time I try to have a talk with her and the mood is right, something happens and it gets interrupted."

Eira let out a soft laugh "Good luck on that."

---

"What?"

( ⊙ ‸ ⊙ )

Sitting on the bed, Dhayun stared at Brandon in shock after hearing the whole thing.

"Wait, wait, wait-"

She raised her hand as if trying to physically stop his words from settling in her head "You mean that Eira is not your only girlfriend and you have three more girlfriends... and they all agree with you having many women?"

Looking at her, Brandon gave a nod "Yes, Noona..."

Huh? Dhayun's gaze condensed and she glanced at Eira who was sitting beside him on the bed.

Eira just grinned and scooted closer on the mattress, her knees brushing against Dhayun's as she leaned in and suddenly hugged her from the side "How about it, we can be real sisters."

Dhayun blinked in disbelief. "That's… insane. Aunt Elize… she is… Haaa… what the hell?"

She buried her face in her palm for a second, groaning like her mind had just short-circuited.

Brandon leaned forward as he reached out and took Dhayun's hand in both of his hands, "Noona."

Her fingers twitched under his touch. Slowly, she lifted her gaze toward him "Woonie…"

Eira's eyes narrowed slightly, catching the subtle shift in Dhayun's expression.

She glanced at Brandon and spoke in a firm tone "Brandon. You leave."

"Huh?" His brows narrowed in confusion "What?"

This was an important discussion. How could he just leave now, when everything was hanging on a fragile thread?

But Eira's gaze didn't waver, "You leave. I want to talk privately with Sister Dhayun."

The insistence in her tone carried no room for negotiation.

Brandon stared at her for a long second, then at Dhayun.

Finally, with a small sigh, he released Dhayun's hand and slowly stood up.

His steps were reluctant and he turned his head once as if he wanted to say more, but he held back.

Quietly, he left the room and closed the door.

Eira suddenly reached out, her hands gently grasping Dhayun's cheeks and turning her face forward "You love Brandon, right?"

Dhanyun froze and after what felt like an eternity, she slowly nodded. "I do…"

"Then that's enough." Eira let go of Dhayun's cheeks and sat back as if everything had just been settled. "You can slowly think through it. There's no rush."

"Look, I love him. You love him. Instead of fighting or hurting each other, why don't we choose the easier way?"

Eira's gaze softened, "Just cooperate and love him together. Imagine it, Noona… all of us as one big family, living together under this roof. No jealousy, no lies. Just… sharing him openly."

Her hand slid over and gently clasped Dhayun's trembling fingers "It sounds crazy now. I know. But when you think about it… isn't it better than pushing him away?"

Dhanyun's chest tightened at those words.

She lowered her head, her bangs falling to hide her expression "You know... I already had a little talk with Yverine about this. I was kind of ready to share him with Yverine and you."

Eira nodded her head "Sister Yve told me about that, but Brandon doesn't know about that."

At that, Dhayun let out a shaky laugh and tilted her head slightly, her lips curling into a wry smile.

Eira's eyes grew tender "At first when I heard about him having multiple women, I was also reluctant like you and even threw a tantrum."

Dhanyun lifted her head slightly, "You? Throwing a tantrum?"

Eira chuckled, a little embarrassed, scratching her cheek "Yes, me. I screamed at him, got angry, cried… all of that. Because I thought he was being selfish."

She let out a deep sigh "But I love this bastard too much... so much that I can't even leave him... so I reluctantly accepted."

Dhayun blinked at her, watching how the younger girl's eyes glistened with sincerity.

Eira's hand tightened around hers. "And you know what? It was the best decision of my life. Because I never regretted my decision. Not even once."

"I got new sisters whom I actually enjoy spending my time with. I got to laugh with them, cry with them, and fight with them. And… I also got Aunt Elize."

"Now, she feels like a second mother to me. And all of that… it only happened because I stopped resisting and chose to accept him fully."

Her gaze softened even more, "I think… I wouldn't have been this happy if it was just me and Brandon. It would've been love, yes, but lonely love. With others, with family, with sisters… I'm even happier."

Looking at the contented smile on Eira's lips Dhayun let out a soft sigh "I also... like being with you guys."

"And I also love that bastard."

Eira let out a chuckle and leaned forward to hug her "Then, what's more... welcome to the family, Big Sis."

Dhayun blinked and her hand hovered above her waist but then with a small smile, she hugged her back "Mhm."
