Two weeks,

Two whole weeks had passed since the sect gained new disciples. Until now, the sect was nothing more than small living quarters.

During these two weeks, nothing noteworthy happened to them. They did not train or anything; they just spent their time getting used to the new place.

They learned everything about the Feng Empire from Shisan. Ruo'er joined them in learning everything she did not have the chance to learn until now.

Shisan did not mind teaching them as she wanted to distract her mind from thinking about Song Liu.

Besides teaching, most of her time was spent by Song Liu's side. She fed the girl with her own hands.

Since she was being fed the beast meat, her body started digesting the qi inside of it to make itself stronger while she slept.

Till now, Noah had to form a plan to make her grow stronger without letting her out of the sect.

In these two weeks, the girls also got to meet Wu Ping and her son. Despite his small age, the boy was quite mature.

He did not run around the sect screaming like some kids his age might do. Maybe because of the trauma from the incident he and his mother faced, the kid also showed his intentions to grow stronger.

But even if he wanted to get stronger, he was still not ready to become a cultivator because of his age.

Wu Ping, on the other hand, finally started her cultivation during these days. Xin Yan prepared a medicinal bath for the woman. Although she could have let her enjoy the painless method of Noah's seals to grow stronger, Xin Yan decided against it for two reasons.

First was; that she wanted Wu Ping to prove her worth first before giving her such treatment. She wanted to see the woman's loyalty. After all, Xin Yan no longer believed in empty words.

The second was; the pain. Xin Yan wanted her to feel pain, not because she wanted to torture the woman, but because she wanted her to get used to the pain.

After all, the pain she would feel in the training would be nothing compared to the pain she would feel in the journey ahead of her life.

Even though Wu Ping prepared herself for the pain mentally, she screamed like a banshee that day. She felt like someone was stabbing swords in her body and twisting them inside from all directions.

Had it not been for the seal Noah placed around her room, the whole sect would have heard her screams.

Having no energy remaining in her body after going through the torture, she fell asleep in the tub.

Xin Yan, who had been watching over the whole process, looked at the woman with a little approval in her eyes.

There were several times when she was close to giving up, but she persisted through the pain for her son and for herself.

Xin Yan helped the woman out of the bath and let her sleep after cleaning her up in her bed.

The next day, most of them were surprised to see the unknown black beauty in the sect. When the girls heard it was Wu Ping, they said they all knew the woman was a beauty.

"This fairy is my mother?" When Wu Ping heard the comment of her son, she flipped through the sect with a wide grin on her face, saying the pain was worth it.

"What are you doing here all alone?" Ma Li jerked her head back, hearing someone calling out to her.

It was early in the morning, and she was sitting in the middle of the garden watching the scenery before her.

"Xueyan, what are you doing here?"

"Did you forget what day it is today?"

"Of course, I remember. How can I forget the day we will finally start our training?" Ma Li pursed her lips without looking at the girl who sat down beside her while talking to her.

"Then you should remember who is going to teach us today."

"I do… it's brother Ti– Noah." Ma Li corrected herself in the middle of her words and continued, "I was just thinking about the night we came to this place."

Xueyan sighed, hearing her words. It would be a lie if she said she was not bothered about that day as well.

After Noah revealed his real identity, they were sent off to sleep without any explanation.

It was only when Ruo'er explained what happened that they had a clear understanding of the events.

Naturally, Ruo'er hid the fact that Noah was using Long Tian's body and just used the same excuse as Noah told the rest, he used a mask.

'Those two are the disciples of the sect masters,' glancing at the two new heads present in their groups, Ma Li thought while narrowing her eyes.

Before her were none other than Yuan Ming and Tian Heng, silence descended on the area as no one spoke up.

This went on until they heard the sounds of footsteps coming in their direction. They all turned around in unison and saw the new instructor walking toward them.

"Let's start the day, shall we?" Noah commented with a grin on his face. Before anyone could say anything, a huge pressure fell on them all, causing their knees to buckle.
