Chapter 386: Troublesome Red Haired Woman
"If she wakes up now, it will be troublesome." Noah shrugged as he watched the restless Shisan return to sleep. "So I am making sure that does not happen."
"She is?" Ruo'er expressed her confusion, not knowing who Shisan was.
"She is the elder of the sect, Shisan," Noah explained. Ruo'er raised her eyebrows, becoming more curious as to why Noah would knock an elder out. "But she is also Song Liu's guard."
"Guard?"
"The Song family is one of the high-ranking families, after all. They sent Shisan to guard her. A Golden Core Realm guard—only a few people can afford that." Noah removed his hand and stood up.
Noah took a step before stopping in his tracks. He turned around and looked in a certain direction before waving his hand.

Before Ruo'er could say anything, the ship suddenly stopped moving in mid-air, making her shift in her seat. She begrudgingly got up and frowned at Noah.
She did not have to ask for a reason as a beam of light flashed in front of their path. She could feel her muscles clenching in fear as the attack would have struck them if Noah had not stopped his ship.
"You really have guts." Two streaks of fire shot through the sky before stopping in front of Noah's ship. "How dare you barge into the territory of our sect without any permission."
Noah watched in silence as two women materialized in front of him. He carefully scanned their robes and their auras.
"You really have the guts to come into our territory like that! Tell me, which demonic sect do you work for?" The one who had been speaking from the start was a red-haired woman. Her twin tails moved as she shouted and pointed at Noah, demanding an explanation.
Ignoring that girl, Noah looked at the woman beside her. She was also wearing similar robes, but her cultivation was not as high as the other woman's. Noah could see a tired look on her face as her brown hair fluttered in the air. She glanced between him and the woman beside her, hesitation and resignation in her eyes.
"Did you not hear what I just said?!" Seeing Noah ignoring her, the red-haired woman took out a whip and looked at Noah with a sharp look in her eyes.
Noah could feel her gaze prickling his body like daggers, but too bad for the woman, daggers didn't work on Noah anymore.
*Whip!*
She waved her whip in the air, which blazed with fire to give Noah a warning. That was when Noah realized one thing about the woman in front of her.
"You have never killed a person, have you?" As soon as Noah said those words, the woman's whip stopped for a split second.
"I am an alchemist, why do I need to kill someone?" The woman retorted coldly before adding with a wide smirk on her face. "There can always be a first time."
"Go home, kid. You are in the way." Unfazed by her words, Noah responded calmly. He easily saw through the woman's nature with a single glance. "I don't have the time to play with you."
"What did you say, you demon?!" The woman flared her cultivation.
The first stage of the Core Formation level.
Ruo'er frowned, seeing how unreasonable the woman was being. Even though they were passing through her territory, labeling them as demonic cultivators without any proof was just too much.
"You are being unreasonable here. We are just moving through this area, and to label us as demonic cultivators without any basis—do you not fear the repercussions of your words?" She walked up to Noah and asked coldly, making the woman even angrier.
"We are working on the orders of the emperor. Now move on and let us continue our work." To prevent things from getting out of hand, Noah waved his hand and showed the token Wuhan gave him.
He did not have any intentions of bickering with a little girl and wasting his time. He had far more important things to do.
Seeing the token floating above Noah's hand, the color drained from the other woman's face. When she heard him mention Wuhan, it became even worse.
Ruo'er was a little annoyed but accepted the fact that Noah did not want to waste any more time in that place.
"I don't care if you are the emperor himself, I won't let you leave today." Suddenly, the twin-tailed woman slashed her whip at the token without any care for Noah's identity.
*Ting!*
Before the whip could touch the token, it was stopped by a barrier made of Qi, pushing it back.
"How dare you!" Ruo'er reached for her sword without any care for the woman's cultivation. Slapping the token was like slapping the emperor himself. She may not have known Wuhan for long, but she respected him as both an emperor and her uncle.
She flared her killing intent, causing the woman to tense up. Even though she had not killed many people, her slight killing intent was enough for the woman to flinch.
"Ruo'er, back down." Seeing the two women prepared for battle, Noah patted Ruo'er on the shoulder and asked her softly. Taking a deep breath, she sheathed her sword and backed away.
The brown-haired woman shifted her gaze from Noah to Ruo'er, but the man was nowhere to be found.
"You were saying something?" Hearing the words right by her side, her eyes widened in realization and she slowly turned her head.
She found herself convulsing, seeing the man she was looking for standing beside her, looking down on her fellow disciple.
Noah's figure floated in the air above the ship as he looked down on the red-haired woman. His towering figure caused the woman to feel a sense of oppression coming from him.
"Do you really think everyone will tolerate your wishful behavior just because you have been spoiled rotten by your family?" Noah did not shy away from his words even when he saw the woman quivering under his dragon aura. 'A little bit of pressure should be enough to scare her off.'
