Genshin Impact: What, the one we need to save is Focalors?

Chapter 92: Chapter 92: Inazuma’s Endless Thunderstorm

"Yide, how did you come to know this information?" Chiori asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.

Lin Ide scoffed with a cold smile, "This information is not exactly top secret. Hiiragi Shinsuke of the Kanjou Commission, Kujou Takayuki of the Tenryou Commission, the Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine, and even the Fatui Harbingers, they are all well aware.

And I just so happen to have a connection with one of the Fatui Harbingers."

"That Harbinger is Arlecchino, isn't it!" Chiori stated bluntly, her tone carrying a hint of hostility.

Lin Yide answered ambiguously, "If you insist on believing so, then so be it."

Chiori didn't dwell on the issue. She changed the subject, asking, "Yide, how should we deal with the nobles of Inazuma?"

Lin Yide's gaze turned towards the distance, where the thunderstorm was raging. His voice was cold and resolute, "Kill!"

A chill ran down Chiori's spine, penetrating to her very core.

About an hour later, the ship slowly sailed towards the dangerous thunderstorm area.

As the ship gradually approached, that violent force of nature resembled a roaring beast, awaiting the arrival of challengers.

The moment they crossed that invisible boundary, it felt as if they had instantly entered another world.

The sky was obscured by thick thunderclouds, as if eternal night had fallen, with only the flickering of lightning providing faint light to this dark world.

The air was filled with chaotic Electro energy, like active spirits dancing wildly in the sky.

The crackling sound of electricity rose and fell, inspiring fear. Even the battle-hardened West Factory guards revealed expressions of fear and unease.

Although they often faced life and death, in the face of nature's fury, human strength seemed so insignificant.

At this moment, Lin Yide's thoughts stirred, and the Vision at his waist immediately responded to his call.

The mysterious Vision emitted a dazzling purple light, like the brightest star in the night sky.

Then, the light converged, forming a massive Electro shield that tightly enveloped the entire ship.

This Electro shield was like an indestructible barrier, standing firm in the raging thunderstorm, isolating all the lightning storms from the ship.

All the guards on the ship were shocked by Lin Yide's immense power when they witnessed this scene, and they couldn't help but feel a deep sense of admiration.

Under the protection of the Electro shield, the ship advanced like a sword cutting through the waves. No matter how the thunderstorm raged, it couldn't touch the hull.

Finally, they successfully broke through this thunderstorm area that had claimed countless lives.

After emerging from the thunderstorm area, the world returned to its original state.

The blue sea and sky spread out before them once again, the sky was clear, and the sunlight sprinkled on the sea like silk, shimmering with golden light.

In the distance, Mount Yougou of Inazuma loomed faintly on the horizon.

The ship did not head towards Narukami Island, but instead sailed towards Yashiori Island.

As the ship gradually approached Yashiori Island, with less than twenty miles to go, Lin Yide stood at the bow, his sharp eyes catching sight of a medium-sized Inazuman warship.

This ship was originally sailing steadily towards Narukami Island, but when they caught sight of Lin Ide's massive ship, they decisively changed course and quickly sailed towards them.

A West Factory guard, upon realizing the approaching Inazuman ship's intentions, immediately ran to Lin Yide, "Master, should we destroy this Inazuman warship that is trying to approach?"

Lin Yide stared at the approaching Inazuman warship, a meaningful smile curving his lips, "No need, let's play with them for a while."

Before long, the Inazuman warship had approached and was tightly alongside their ship.

A fierce-looking Inazuman samurai, closely guarded by several burly subordinates, strode onto the deck of the ship.

"Who is the captain? How dare you enter Inazuma without permission? Do you have a death wish?" he shouted sternly as soon as he arrived.

His words were met with silence on the ship.

All the West Factory guards present looked at him with strange expressions, their eyes revealing a hint of mockery and disdain. At the same time, their hands instinctively reached for the pistols at their waists.

A flicker of alertness flashed in the samurai's eyes. He noticed that the atmosphere around him seemed a bit off, but he still declared his identity loudly and forcefully, "What are you looking at! I am Abe Isozaburo, a Yoriki of the Tenryou Commission!"

His voice, however, betrayed a hint of bravado.

At this moment, Lin Yide walked up to him with steady steps, a gentle smile on his face, "Greetings, Yoriki-dono. I wonder what you want? We are all law-abiding citizens."

Seeing Lin Yide's politeness, the tension in Abe Isozaburo's heart eased slightly.

He kept looking at the sturdy steel ship, his eyes revealing undisguised greed.

He puffed out his chest and said arrogantly, "According to the Shogun's decree of national isolation, no foreign ships are allowed to sail in Inazuma without permission. I now officially announce that this ship has been confiscated by our Tenryou Commission."

As soon as these words were spoken, the surrounding West Factory guards couldn't help but burst into laughter.

They seemed to have heard the biggest joke in the world. Someone actually dared to extort the West Factory. This was unprecedentedly absurd.

Lin Yide smiled slightly, "Abe Isozaburo, when you see the boss later, remember to say hello for me and tell him 'Hello'."

Then, he waved his hand to the West Factory guards, signaling them to take action.

Abe Isozaburo was completely confused, "Boss? Hello?"

His mind was full of doubts, completely unable to understand the meaning of these words.

Just as he was still trying to figure it out, the West Factory guards had quickly and decisively aimed their pistols at him.

"Bang, bang, bang~" Continuous gunshots echoed in the sky above the ship, the sound sharp and piercing.

Abe Isozaburo and his subordinates had nowhere to escape in this sudden attack. One after another, they collapsed in pools of blood, their life gradually fading away.

Looking at the corpses and blood on the ground, Lin Yide couldn't help but frown slightly.

He turned his head and criticized the West Factory guards, "You are too brutal. Why use so many bullets when one bullet can solve the problem?"

The West Factory guards were silent. They knew very well that when it came to brutality, they were probably not even one-ten-thousandth as brutal as Lin Yide.

Then, he boarded the Inazuman warship with several guards.

The remaining soldiers of the Tenryou Commission on the ship were quickly and decisively dealt with by the West Factory guards before they could even react.

Lin Yide walked through the messy deck and stepped into the dim cabin. What caught his eye was a tragic scene.

Dozens of Inazuman civilians, dressed in tattered clothes and with haggard faces, were lying on the ground. They looked extremely weak, almost unable to move.

And in the air, there was a strange and foul odor, like a mixture of disease and despair.

Seeing this scene, the anger in Lin Yide's heart was instantly ignited. He already understood what this warship was doing.
