Chapter 153: Chapter 153: I Am Scaramouche

"Kidnapped General Kujou Sara?!" Yurika's jaw dropped in shock. That handsome silver-haired young man had not only dared but also succeeded in kidnapping the general of the Tenryou Commission? This was simply unbelievable!

'From now on, I need to carefully vet anyone Thoma brings in! If something like this happens again, I'll never get married!' Yurika clenched her fists, silently vowing to herself.

Little did she know, perhaps because her sincerity moved the heavens, she would indeed spend the rest of her life alone. When she was nearing the end of her life, she would often think back to this oath and wish she could go back in time to slap her younger self.

"Ugh..."

Kujou Sara groaned in pain as she slowly regained consciousness, her eyes fluttering open.

'An unfamiliar ceiling... Wait, no! Where am I?!' As Kujou Sara woke up, she instinctively tried to rub her sore and stiff neck, only to realize her arms were completely immobilized. Looking down, she saw that not only her arms but her entire body had been tightly bound with ropes. No matter how much she struggled, she couldn't loosen them even a bit.

"Ugh..." Kujou Sara let out a heavy sigh. Her military training quickly kicked in, helping her calm down. She began to recall what had happened the previous night and why she was in this situation.

'Last night, after clearing out the Kairagi, I returned to Ritou with my subordinates. That's when I encountered a man supporting a drunk girl...' Kujou Sara quickly ran through the events of the previous day in her mind, then glanced out the window at the rising sun.

After assessing her situation, she sighed regretfully. If even she had been defeated by that scoundrel, that delicate girl must have already fallen victim to him.

Creak—

Just as Kujou Sara was lost in her thoughts, a creaking sound reached her ears. She turned her head to see the door not far from her being pushed open. To her surprise, the person who walked in wasn't the silver-haired young man she had imagined but the very girl she had tried to save the previous night.

"Good morning, General Kujou," Columbina greeted with a charming smile as she entered, lifting the hem of her dress slightly and performing an elegant curtsy.

"You..." Kujou Sara's expression was complex as she looked at the girl before her. She didn't seem to have been harmed, which made Kujou Sara wonder if she had been mistaken. But if that were the case, why had the silver-haired man refused to cooperate with her investigation?

"It seems our tengu general is a bit confused. Let me explain," a voice came from behind Columbina before the speaker even entered the room. Under Kujou Sara's murderous gaze, Yun Fan walked in.

"Good morning, Tengu General," Yun Fan waved at the bound Kujou Sara, a smile on his face.

"You two..." Kujou Sara's gaze shifted between Yun Fan and Columbina. Suddenly, it seemed to click. "Was I your target all along?"

"You?" Yun Fan chuckled and shook his head. "Kujou Sara, you're not as important as you think. If you hadn't stopped me last night, we would have had no interaction at all, and everything would have been fine. So..." Yun Fan paused, then continued, "Your sense of justice is what got you into this mess."

The silver-haired young man's lips curled into a sly smile, making him look like a true villain who had just achieved his goal.

"Sigh, since I've already fallen into your hands, could you at least tell me who you are? Let me die with some clarity," Kujou Sara sighed in defeat, her demeanor deflated. However, her ears perked up, eager to catch any information they might reveal.

"Heh," Yun Fan noticed Kujou Sara's subtle attempt to gather information but chose not to call her out. Instead, he smirked, his expression playful.

"Well, I suppose there's no harm in telling you," Yun Fan waved his hand, gesturing to Columbina beside him. "This one you might have heard of—Third Fatui Harbinger, codename: Damselette."

Kujou Sara: !!!

Hearing Yun Fan's introduction, Kujou Sara was momentarily stunned, then her eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at the seemingly harmless girl before her. "You're a Fatui Harbinger?!"

In Teyvat, the reputation of the Fatui Harbingers was notorious. From the elderly to children, everyone had heard of their infamy. Kujou Sara never expected that this beautiful, innocent-looking girl with the white veil could be one of those villains.

'If this girl is a Fatui Harbinger, then what about him...?' Kujou Sara turned her gaze to Yun Fan, staring intently at his handsome face.

"Allow me to introduce myself," Yun Fan said with a smile, performing a gentlemanly bow. "I am the Sixth Fatui Harbinger, codename: Scaramouche. Of course, you can also call me—"

"Kunikuzushi!"

Yun Fan's words struck Kujou Sara's heart like a hammer, leaving her momentarily dazed.

Columbina: ???

Hearing Yun Fan's words, the girl's face showed a look of astonishment. She turned to look at the silver-haired young man's refined profile, thinking to herself, 'Is this what they call speaking nonsense with a straight face?'

However, despite her thoughts, Columbina didn't expose him. Instead, a smile played on her lips. Her intuition told her that something interesting was about to happen.

"Kunikuzushi... You and the Shogun..." Before Kujou Sara could finish, she felt a sharp pain in her chin. She opened her eyes in pain to see Yun Fan, who had been meters away just moments ago, now standing right in front of her, his hand gripping her chin.

"The Raiden Shogun, huh? How laughable," Yun Fan sneered, his voice cold as he looked into Kujou Sara's defiant eyes. "In her pursuit of so-called eternity—that ridiculous, insignificant eternity! She creates life but abandons it, leaving her creations to fend for themselves. One day, everything I, Kunikuzushi, have lost, I will reclaim from her!"

"Do not slander the Shogun! She is actually quite—" Kujou Sara wanted to refute Yun Fan's words, but the word "kind" stuck in her throat, unable to come out.

"Hah! Speechless, are you?" Yun Fan released Kujou Sara's chin, and without his support, she slumped to the ground with a soft thud.

"Cough! Just kill me," Kujou Sara glared at Yun Fan, her eyes filled with unyielding determination. She closed her eyes, waiting for death to come. One second passed, then ten, then a minute...

The expected death never arrived. Kujou Sara opened her eyes, confused, and looked at the two before her.

It was then that Yun Fan finally spoke.
