Genshin Impact: My villain system is a little different.

Chapter 207: Chapter 207

Although reluctant, three days later, Raiden Ei finally arrived in Liyue.

Seeing how much Liyue had changed, Ei felt unusually nervous.

She didn't know where to go.

The changes in Liyue struck her as positive.

Moreover, as Jiang Ning had once said, only by improving could one better maintain eternity.

Otherwise, if you remained stagnant while your opponents grew stronger, eternity would become a joke.

After being scolded by her sister and then disciplined by Jiang Ning, Ei had finally woken up.

However, just as Ei was feeling uneasy, a familiar voice made her relax instantly.

"Dummy, what are you looking at? Over here."

Turning around, she saw Kitsune Saiguu, her smile as charming as ever. Compared to before, Saiguu's allure had reached new heights.

Every gesture she made seemed to exude natural seduction.

Jiang Ning had successfully brought out the full charm of Inazuma's number one heartthrob.

"Saiguu… how have you been?"

Ei quickly walked over to Saiguu and asked.

Saiguu replied, "I've been eating well and sleeping well. Honestly, compared to Inazuma, Liyue has advanced so much, all thanks to someone."

Hearing Saiguu's sarcastic tone, Ei covered her head.

Stop scolding me, I already know I was wrong…

Why was I scolded by Jiang Ning in Inazuma, then by my sister, and now by Yae Miko every day at work, and even by Saiguu in Liyue?

It seemed Raiden Makoto had foresight. If she hadn't sent Ei out to relax, Ei might have been scolded into doubting her existence and retreating into seclusion again.

After finally pulling this recluse out of her shell, they couldn't let her retreat again.

That's why Makoto had sent Ei away.

Saiguu asked, "Did you bring everything?"

Ei replied blankly, "Makoto said everything would be arranged here…"

Back in Inazuma, after ending her seclusion in the Plane of Euthymia, all her travel arrangements were handled by Kujou Sara.

She never had to worry about anything.

Seeing the clueless Ei, Saiguu sighed, "Forget it. You can wear Makoto's clothes for now… We'll share the daily necessities, and I'll buy you some undergarments and new towels later."

"Okay," Ei obediently replied in front of her old friend.

At home, she listened to her sister, and on the battlefield, she followed Saiguu.

She was always the obedient one.

"Also, when you meet Jiang Ning later, try to act a bit more affectionate… Not only is he going to be your husband, but he's also done a great favor for Inazuma. Not to mention, you tried to cut him down when you first met."

Saiguu spoke earnestly, worried that her clueless friend might be disliked.

Ei looked troubled, "But I don't know how to do that…"

Saiguu's smile turned innocent, a sign that she was about to trick someone.

But Ei, who automatically became less intelligent around her external brains, still trusted Saiguu completely.

Saiguu beckoned Ei closer and whispered, "It's actually quite simple. Just do this…"

After hearing Saiguu's advice, Ei blinked, "Is that all?"

Saiguu nodded firmly, "Of course."

Ei hesitated but finally nodded, "Alright."

The two arrived outside Liyue Harbor, where Jiang Ning and the others had been waiting for some time.

"You're here, Ei. This trip to Sumeru… huh?!"

Before Jiang Ning could finish, Ei suddenly hugged him, burying his face in her chest.

Jiang Ning was completely stunned. What was going on? But the scent of lavender grass made him momentarily lose himself.

"What are you doing?!" Lumine exploded, and Eula stepped forward with a dark expression, separating the two.

Even if you're the Electro Archon, once you're part of the family, you're just a sister. No one cares about your status.

It seemed that after spending so much time with Jiang Ning, Eula's perspective had broadened.

She no longer worried about what the people of Mondstadt thought. Now, she could chat and even share a bed with adepti, powerful youkai, and gods.

What was there to fear? Besides, before leaving, Makoto had said that if Ei dared to act out, they could just beat her up and deal with the consequences later.

If Ei fought back, Makoto would come through the Serenitea Pot that very night and spank her.

So, Lumine and Eula weren't afraid at all.

Shenhe, on the other hand, seemed thoughtful… It had been a while since she and her junior brother had been so close.

"Ei, what's with the sudden…" Jiang Ning, now free from the "valley," felt a bit regretful but still asked.

Ei's face turned red, and for some reason, her heart was beating faster.

The spot where Jiang Ning's breath had touched her chest felt tingly and warm.

It was a strange feeling, but Ei didn't dislike it. In fact, she kind of liked it.

She honestly replied, "Saiguu said you'd like this."

Everyone turned to Jiang Ning, their eyes asking:

Do you really like this?

Lumine, in particular, was furious. Among the group, everyone else was a curvy, mature beauty.

Even Eula, who was also a young woman, had a fiery, mature figure.

Only Lumine…

She had been confident before.

But confidence comes from comparison.

As a young woman, comparing herself to Hu Tao and Yanfei was one thing, but comparing herself to Eula and Shenhe was another.

Now… she felt utterly defeated.

"Ahem… let's change the subject."

Jiang Ning felt a bit awkward.

Continuing this topic would be suicidal.

If he said anything, Lumine might bite him, and Keqing would probably stab him in the side.

Jiang Ning quickly said, "Anyway, Ai-chan, be good at home, okay? I'll call if I need anything."

Ai-chan nodded eagerly, "Don't worry, Boss. I'll be good."

She was thrilled. Not having to work, just being a mascot for her host, with performance points rolling in, food, sleep, and fun—it was a dream life.

No wonder her sister had insisted on creating a body.

Hehe, if she had known it would be this good, she would have done it sooner…

Amid the laughter, the group set off for Sumeru.

As they passed through the Chasm, Jiang Ning noticed the thinning population and instinctively felt something was wrong.

A foul, repulsive aura hit him.

"Be careful… something's coming."

Jiang Ning immediately summoned his Vortex Vanquisher.

Ei also entered a state of alert.

The gods were the first to sense the danger, followed by the others.

Only Lumine remained oblivious, still picking Sweet Flowers for dinner.

But seeing everyone else on guard, she drew her Dull Blade.

"…Not to be rude, but how long have you been using that Dull Blade? Don't we have better weapons at home?"

Jiang Ning was speechless.

Lumine retorted, "Mind your own business. I've been using this since I woke up. It's comfortable… and for some reason, it never breaks."

Jiang Ning found it strange. Would Lumine really cut through Celestia with a Dull Blade?

The next moment, wolf-like, ghostly creatures emerged from the bushes.

There were a few small ones and a couple of larger ones.

"Rifthounds?"

Jiang Ning frowned. Why were these creatures in Liyue?

He had cleared them out before.

Normally, Xiao and now Menogias patrolled the area, and Rex Lapis was also around.

Any powerful monsters appearing in Liyue would be dealt with immediately by the adepti.

Otherwise, the Millelith would suffer heavy casualties.

Though it was impolite to say, aside from the depths of the Chasm, these creatures were more common in Inazuma.

But according to Lumine, the main reason was a rift to the Abyss in Inazuma, which periodically spawned Rifthounds and the Golden Wolflord.

Ei couldn't do much about it except periodically slay the Golden Wolflord.

Jiang Ning planned to deal with the rift once Inazuma stabilized and they began developing Tsurumi Island.

But these… were they brought here by someone?

Ei frowned, sensing something amiss:

"These Rifthounds smell like the sea of Inazuma."

"The Abyss Order…" Jiang Ning narrowed his eyes. Were they testing Liyue?

Jiang Ning hadn't had much interaction with the Abyss Order.

Mostly, he had dealt with minor threats like Abyss Mages.

In all this time, he had only encountered one Pyro Abyss Lector, who had simply glanced at him from afar before leaving.

Ei instinctively looked at Jiang Ning. If the Abyss had truly noticed him…

Then perhaps a major battle was imminent?

But that couldn't be.

They hadn't even left Liyue yet. With Azhdaha and Zhongli around, how many divisions did the Abyss have to spare?

Moreover, with two of the Seven Archons present, sending just a few small fries was downright disrespectful.

After easily dispatching the Rifthounds, Jiang Ning noticed a figure hiding behind a boulder:

"Come out. If you want to greet us, this is hardly the way."

"As expected of Liyue's next Geo Archon. Truly impressive…"

A voice rang out, though it sounded somewhat gnashing teeth.

Then, a blond boy, strikingly similar to Lumine, emerged, followed by several Abyss Mages and two Abyss Lectors.

"Brother!"

Lumine exclaimed in surprise.

"Lumine… we meet again, though I didn't expect it to be so soon…"

Aether's gaze shifted from Jiang Ning's with a mix of anger to a gentle, complicated look as he addressed Lumine.

He had been busy with the Abyss's plans when his subordinates informed him that his precious sister had been "claimed" by some guy.

Aether refused to believe it at first, but…

It turned out to be true. Not only that, but Lumine had been the one actively pursuing Jiang Ning.

As a brother, Aether was furious.

He wanted to skin Jiang Ning alive.

But he knew he couldn't.

Not only were the Seven Archons formidable, but Lumine would genuinely threaten to kill herself if he tried anything.

She might even grab his ears and slap him.

After all, that was how they had always interacted.

A mischievous sister and an overprotective brother.

Sure enough, Lumine spread her arms, shielding Jiang Ning:

"Aether, what are you planning? I'm warning you, don't you dare touch Jiang Ning."

Aether's fists clenched and unclenched, his teeth grinding before he finally sighed in defeat, "Fine. I'm just here to see him…"

"And to properly get to know him!"

Aether's gaze at Jiang Ning was filled with malice.

"And you've really given me a headache, Lumine. The guy behind you… I've heard about his ability to purify the Abyss. Truly remarkable."

Aether's eyes grew dangerous.

Ei and Havria stepped forward. Jiang Ning's safety was non-negotiable.

Shenhe remained calm. She knew her combat abilities couldn't match a god's, but she could buy time with her life if necessary.

Moreover, before leaving, her master and Rex Lapis had given her a safeguard.

If the Abyss truly attacked, Azhdaha and Zhongli would sense it and arrive swiftly.

As for Eula… driven out of Mondstadt, even Barbatos felt guilty.

Without Jiang Ning, she might have ended up like Rosalyne, a hero turned tragic figure.

Thus, Eula could also summon the Thousand Winds if needed.

So, while it seemed only Ei and Jiang Ning were combat-ready, with Havria as a support, the truth was…

This group was a hornet's nest.

"So, are you planning to fight?"

Jiang Ning grinned.
