One of the witnesses was the classmate who had informed Luo Fei about Guo Jing's intention to buy a computer.

The record did note Guo Jing's plan to buy a computer, but it lacked other evidence, making this testimony misleading.

Due to financial difficulties, Guo Jing was so desperate to change his situation that he resorted to robbery.

Zhao Donglai was speechless with anger after reading it.

In both records, Luo Fei noticed an issue.

In the first record, when recalling suspect features, Zhang Yanhua mentioned that although the suspect wore a hood-like mask throughout, it was noticeable that he had single eyelids, rough skin, and a raspy voice.

However, he had seen Guo Jing, and Guo Jing didn't match these characteristics at all.

Sure enough, upon reviewing the second record, these points were missing.

So, was this also deliberately altered?

"Captain Liao, when you met with Zhang Yanhua, did you ask about the robber's appearance?"

"Yes, according to her, he wore a hood the entire time, but you could hear the raspy voice..."

What Liao Xingyu described matched the first record exactly.

Luo Fei immediately showed an expression of realization and handed the record to Zhao Donglai, "Captain Zhao, Zhang Yanhua's record has been tampered with as well."

The two hurried out.

In the visiting room, when Old Wu was brought in by the guards and saw Luo Fei and Zhao Donglai inside, he wasn't surprised at all.

"Officer Luo, we meet again at last."

"When the guard said someone wanted to see me, I guessed it must be you. After all, I have no other family or friends in this world."

Dragging his shackles, Old Wu sat across from them, starting like an old friend catching up.

Old Wu sneered and turned to glance at him, questioning, "Why should I tell you? Isn't it a policeman's job to investigate?"

Zhao Donglai was left speechless.

Luo Fei said calmly, "Old Wu, you dropped clues for us on purpose, didn't you want me to find you?"

"I guessed you despised the police and would gladly reveal the real perpetrator just to embarrass us."

Luo Fei was a bit startled by his words.
