Chapter 64: Chapter 64-[F*CK Tyrell!]

Jon watched from afar as Sansa escorted the prince of Dorne, his friends were in the kitchens, but the girl seemed to have the goal of establishing friendly relations with Dorne.

"Or only with the prince," he muttered.

The boy sighed, hoping that dreamy Sansa wouldn't come back.

Jon looked to the side, walking away from the window to the table with a few dozen stacks of papers, the buildings were at a standstill, he couldn't show the prince of Dorne how fast his builders could build.

That would cause problems.

The maester he brought asked many questions, which Jon took care of not knowing the answers, with the simple way of sending the problem to his architects.

They could answer the maester's questions more easily, and without losing their composure.

That they would know where the pipes flow from.

Or how to raise plants in places without sun.

In these moments alone, he missed Daenerys.

He had been tempted to use his switching magic to switch places with some of his Valyrian creatures, unfortunately, that magic consumed a lot of mana, and he couldn't waste it until he had a full fortress.

But he missed her a lot.

Danny's smile as he watched her wake up.

Her sweet good morning kiss.

Her soft skin that he felt when sleeping on him, or while they made love.

And his son.

"How much has he grown?" He asked himself, imagining him in the arms of his mother while he took a nap.

Or throwing a tantrum, because his mother was walking away from him.

Jon smiled at the mental image.

"I should have brought them, or sent Danny a letter to come," he muttered.

In fact.

Seeing his son would be a dream now.

Having his wife in his bed too.

But it was still dangerous.

And he wouldn't follow Danny's blood-in-cities plan, not at least until his wife convinces him, which unfortunately is something she's an expert at.

"But my blood in every city is ridiculous," he muttered.

Danny had a problem with that fact of him.

She didn't like having to share her husband with someone else.

But she understood the need to put the blood of the king of Valyria into his cities.

Of course, Jon responded that marriage contracts for his children with the lords of the cities were enough.

But Danny didn't agree, they needed his blood running their cities, preventing the masters from returning.

They currently owned four cities outside of Valyria.

Astapor

Yunkai

Meeren

Volantis.

And these cities were left in the hands of managers, who were selected by Jon. But Danny thought that was not enough.

Volantis was held by the relatives of the Queen of the North, who was Jon's sister-in-law, but the former slave cities that are now part of the kingdom of Valyria were something else.

Danny couldn't say for sure how many children she would have with Jon, but she knew that Targaryens have never been very fertile.

Two children, three maximum.

And that was not enough.

His heir with Danny would be the next king and two more children who would undoubtedly be lords or ladies of other parts of Valyria, such as Redsun Village or Tyria.

Danny was convinced that the only way to unify the cities outside of Valyria was to put his blood, or more precisely, Jon's children, either from lovers or second or third wives.

Jon on the other hand rejected everything.

It was dishonorable to do something like that.

But Daenerys was very determined.

"Is looking for lovers the last thing I'll do?" he told her.

Danny got angry with him.

He should be the angry one.

But his wife had a volatile attitude.

He slept on the couch that night.

He hated the couch.

The boy denied it as he remembered the conversation.

"How could she be angry that I refuse to have lovers? " He thought confused.

He shook his head again and his thoughts drifted to his sister and Prince Martell.

They were a good match from his point of view.

On the other hand, Sansa as the saint had an important task for Valyria.

Of course, marrying the prince of Dorne would give them an alliance.

On the other hand, she was not the crown prince.

"Which means she won't have Sunspear," he said.

It was a problem.

If Sansa wished to marry the prince, the Martells and Dorne would have a hostage and power against Valyria, it was no secret that many in their cities were followers of Sansa.

She of course wouldn't betray him.

But nobles are persuasive.

They could manipulate her.

'Should I talk to her?' he thought.

But then he denied it.

Sansa was smart enough to know that, she was always the smartest in their family.

Jon heaved a sigh.

"I'm sorry sister"

Robb watched as the men prepared, on the throne he sat in Riverrun, a partial throne that was built as a preventive measure before the king went to war again.

Next to him was his queen, Talisa.

Which had her own throne, or rather a large chair made of velvet and white wood.

In front of them, three men were kneeling.

The current most influential lords in the Vale of Arryn.

Petyr Baelish, the so-called little finger. Who was the current head of House Arryn, guardian of the vale, or at least until his cousin Robin was old enough to rule. Robb didn't trust Menique, he heard a lot of bad rumors about him.

The Vale remained silent throughout the war and it was not until the Boltons betrayed the Starks that they declared Joffrey as their king. The king was now dead, but it didn't matter as the valley had defended the Boltons at his orders and attacked the Starks.

Menique was one of the leaders of the attack, who was caught by Robb and released after arranging a partial alliance with the king of the north, in exchange for armies and resources in his favor if he took control of the land of the rivers.

He was not the only one who distrusted him, neither the Black Fish nor his confidant Dacey Mormont seemed to trust him, the Black Fish seemed very reluctant to accept an alliance with him either because they knew him in his youth, or because of the suspicious death of his niece Lisa.

Menique was a small man with attractive features. He has gray-green eyes, a pointed beard on his chin, and dark hair with some gray.

At his side was another of the men who led the attack against Robb in the north. Nestor Royce, one of his father's oldest friends, from when he was in the valley while he was growing up.

He seemed to like Robb more, although not entirely because of his intervention in the north. He was a military man, he followed orders, from his king or his lord, nothing more. He was a man with a stern look, a large body, a plump face, and little gray hair.

And the last man, Gerold Grafton. With a normal body, he did not look like a warrior like Nestor Royse. Black hair and green eyes.

"I Petyr Baelish, keeper of the valley, and representative of the current lord, Lord Robin Arryn, guardian of the Vale, I give our loyalty, lands, and obedience to You King Robb, I declare yourself, king of the Vale" he exclaimed.

"I Nestor Royce, Guardian of the Gates of the Moon, am witness to the appointment of King Robb Stark, as king of the valley," Royce said.

"And I, Gerold Grafton, lord of Gaviota Port, am also a witness. And I name Robb Stark, my king, from this day, until the day I die," the third man said.

Robb felt again how he entered the white room. He knew it would be a new title. Which was good, he needed to increase his points as soon as possible. He walked to the computer.

The boy left and he saw his new subjects.

"And I, Robb Stark, accept your oath, lords of the valley. Please take a seat," he indicated to the table, it had already been decorated and prepared.

Oak chairs with the valley flag on them. The men seemed satisfied at that.

"I think the first thing would be to talk about Valyria, his majesty. Rumors have come of her support in the battle against the Ironborn, not to mention that the current queen is the daughter of the mad king, Daenerys Targaryen," Menique said.

Arya furrowed an eyebrow.

"The north and Valyria are allies by blood, so they should not fear any retaliation... I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Queen Daenerys, the mother of dragons, but my natural brother, Jon Snow, who is currently called Jon Targaryen, is the current king of Valyria, with the cities of the former Slave Bay and Volantis in addition to Valyria as his territories," Robb said.

Menique frowned.

He had no information about that.

He didn't like that.

"I see, then, do we have support from Valyria in the war against the Lannisters?" he asked.

"The alliance is developed in parts Lord Baelish, Valyria cannot openly intervene in the conflict with the Lannisters unless they have attacked a citizen or noble of Valyria...His intention was always to provide us with resources for the war, and in the future, military strength in case we need it " he said.

"Didn't they intervene with the Iron Islands?" Royce asked.

"He did, but because of an attack by Euron Greyjoy on his forces, it was retaliation, not war... There will be time to talk about alliances later, now something more important... The rock, and the coronation of Tommen Aguas," he said.

Jaime Lannister looked at his father.

"Are we really going to go?" he asked.

"You go, I must stay at the king's landing, I must protect the city from our enemies and your sister's incompetence," he said.

"And condition Tommen at the same time," Jaime told him.

Tywin raised an eyebrow.

"Do you have a problem with that?" he asked.

"He is a boy," he clarified.

"He is the king, and the last one did not last long... You did nothing to prevent his death, even though you were his guard," Tywin clarified.

Jaime looked him in the eyes.

"How am I going to stop Joffrey from getting drunk," he said.

"If it had been me, I would have tasted each cup before offering them to the king. But I guess it's the incompetence of the guards," Tywin said.

"The rock is a symbol, a symbol of the power of the Lannisters...It cannot be taken," he ordered.

"Uncle Kevan is there, he has enough men," Jaime clarified.

"And now he will have more, rumors are that Valyria supported Robb Stark in battle against Euron Greyjoy," he said.

"False, because she wouldn't, Daenerys Targaryen, she doesn't have as much love for the Starks as she does for us," he clarified.

"Even so, no assassin has arrived in Valyria and been able to cause her death, no informant has returned since she left for Valyria... This queen is better than her father, much better. If Valyria is in the seven kingdoms. The consequences," he muttered.

"Is the lion afraid?" Jaime asked.

Tywin raised an eyebrow at him.

"The Lannisters are the most powerful family in Westeros, you take care of the wolf child, and leave the dragon to me" he clarified.

"Haven't you failed many times already?" he asked.

Tywin looked at him coldly.

"I protected the king's landing, I protected the west, what were you doing, prisoner of the child, murderer of your own cousin, or let's not forget, you killed your king," the man said.

"What gave you victory" Jaime accused.

Tywin smiled.

"Do you think so? Jaime, when are you going to learn," he said.

"The mad king was gambling in the streets, he planned to exploit your army," he told him furiously.

Tywin was still smiling.

"Who do you think was the one who had the Alchemists in his pocket, Aerys or me?" he asked.

"You knew it…" Jaime muttered.

"Of course...It would have been an interesting spectacle, a couple of thousand dead men, a couple of thousand dead civilians, but I would be very well, I assure you and Aerys would lose not only the war, his reputation would be destroyed, the reputation of all the Targaryens, preventing Viserys or Daenerys from being welcome, even with their allies," he said.

"So it was because of that... Elia and her children," he murmured.

Tywin nods.

"In the face of your gallant hero complex, you prevented the destruction of Aerys's reputation...I had to take action, killing the children would not be enough, I needed that bitch Aerys to know what would happen to his children if he tried to make his claim to the throne ...Princess Martell had to be sacrificed" he said.

"By the gods," Jaime whispered.

"Believe me, it wasn't the gods... And if you had been a good turncoat, possibly Elia Martell would still be alive, a prisoner to keep her brothers in line, but alive," he said.

"You planned everything, from the beginning...No, since I joined the royal guard, right?" Jaime asked.

Tywin smiled.

"Well, you finally discovered it...Yes, now you know, that doesn't matter now...The rock matters, go away now" the old man finished.
