Just like with Meina, I don’t know who Yuren is, but anyway, a 3-star swordsmanship isn’t something to ignore.

It might not be something like a swordmaster, but wasn’t it someone like a knight captain?

With a pounding heart, I focused my mind on the knowledge acquired through the Skill.

As expected, it was a typical longsword technique… And as hoped, there were quite a few elements that could be applied to daggers or greatswords.

For someone like me, who had been relying on instinct and hastily striking at any visible gaps, this was my first encounter with systematic swordsmanship.

Though I learned greatsword techniques from Lydia, it was at a very basic level, considering my beginner status.

Yuren’s Swordsmanship was forcibly drilled into my head from the basics to the advanced.

From simple initial moves to complex and difficult advanced techniques. And even secret techniques that could decisively cut down an opponent if used at the right moment.

If I can execute just these properly, it would be believable even if I claimed to be a child of a knight’s family.

However, I have no intention of doing so. Certainly, Yuren’s Swordsmanship is the most advanced combat technique I’ve learned so far…but it differs greatly from my style.

Having drawn various Skills and used Power, I’ve realized one thing.

It’s true that the inherent performance of Skills and Power is important, but more crucial is how you apply them.

Of course, the story might change if it reaches 5-stars, or at least up to 4-stars.

If I abandon my current weapon and wield Yuren’s Swordsmanship with the newly acquired longsword, how strong would I be?

Well. Since I’ve been forcibly imbued with the physique and knowledge to execute it till the later stages, I shouldn’t be weak.

However, if you ask whether I’d be stronger than now…that’s unlikely.

In the end, like with other Skills, I should prioritize combining them wisely.

“Thinking like this, the draws have been pretty good so far.”

There were no ceilings or pickups, yet only Skills that naturally fit the current combat style emerged.

Perhaps this too is the Goddess of Love exerting her power as usual.

Thanks to stuffing it in my mouth, I found a rainbow-glimmering Magic Herb from the considerably reduced pile of Magic Herbs.

It’s much larger than a normal mana herb. It looks as fresh as if it were just plucked without drying.

As I cautiously take a whiff, the refreshing scent is so clear it clears my head.

Overall, it feels like the Magic Herb has been condensed several tens or even hundreds of times. If I were to just eat it, it would probably taste that bitter…

No matter how bitter the medicine, once it enters the mouth, it should taste sweet.

It was so large that I couldn’t swallow it in one bite, so I cut it in half and put it in my mouth, releasing a cool scent. Amidst that, a sweetness arose…

“Mint chocolate?”

It was said that the Power would enhance and make everything taste delicious once in my mouth.

In other words, mint chocolate is officially delicious according to the God of Gluttony…!

Nodding in satisfaction, I briefly resumed rummaging through the pile of Magic Herbs.

Perhaps because I chewed and swallowed it directly, rather than storing it in my stomach. The effect of the radiant Magic Herb began to kick in.

My mana pool, which had expanded significantly upon acquiring a 3-star spell, noticeably grew, and although slight, the purity of my mana seems to have been refined.

At least the other Powers have some use, but no matter how I think about it, this beauty-related Power’s uses are too limited.

It’s not even that you can charm, but that you can attempt to charm.

Isn’t an attempt something you can do without Power???

Still, the amount of divine power increased a bit, and it became a bit purer. And being able to actively use eye contact when acting is nice, but…
