From Slave to King: My Rebate System Built Me a Kingdom With Beauties!

Chapter 84: Preparation For Battle!

Gribnox finally came to and was told about Byung leaving the mine for a short time with Maui.

He couldn't complain because Byung had made this place his own. There was no doubt they would have to follow his lead.

Even if Murkfang returned, they would have to answer to Byung because there were things he was better equipped to handle.

Gribnox had no problems giving up control to him, but something told him Byung aimed for something higher.

He had knocked Drekk off the top and was in prime position to take his place, but Gribnox wanted to have a talk with Drekk.

He wanted to know why he did what he did to him because he had done nothing to him.

Gribnox was scared, and Torgzit might have said sorry, but this didn't take away the damage he had done to him.

Gribnox would have died if Byung didn't treat him, but it didn't matter because Torgzit had no knowledge Byung would be able to heal him.

If he didn't have this knowledge, it didn't matter the degree of the wound inflicted.

If Byung wasn't here, such a wound would have been fatal either way, but then again, if Byung wasn't here, Torgzit wouldn't have stopped either.

He didn't stop of his own free will. Byung stopped him forcefully.

Gribnox also knew one of the orcs was pregnant and had little to no hope for the possible outcome of this.

There was no way she would give birth to his child successfully, so it was going to result in the death of both orc and son.

Gribnox wondered what having a child would be like and wished his semen was of higher quality so he could bring that into reality.

Naz knew she only had a week to live and wasn't going to spend it sulking in a corner.

She had learned from her time here that the goblins weren't as bad as they were thought.

If anything, they were similar to them in the sense that they would do what they needed to do to survive.

And with Byung at the helm, the goblins' future looked positive, and she could see herself giving birth to a goblin that would thrive in this world Byung was creating.

Byung could make medicine and had used them smartly to take over Drekk.

Gribnox was sweet too. Goblins were shown as creatures that would do anything to have their cocks in any hole.

This might be true with other goblins, but the goblins in this region were pretty tame.

Even though Gribnox was a sex addict that couldn't think about anything but sex, he never forced himself on her.

"I'm sorry," Gribnox said, his voice cracking with real pain. He wasn't cold-hearted and knew her death would have no meaning considering it would take the life of both her and his child.

If the child survived, she would at least live on through it, but there was little to no possibility of that.

"It is fine. I knew what I was signing for when I came here," Naz told him softly, her eyes gentle, and this lifted the guilt off his chest like a heavy stone finally rolling away.

"Are you goblins capable of connecting emotionally?" Naz asked Gribnox, her voice curious but kind, not mean.

But this sounded absurd as every creature with a heart and a brain inevitably were cursed with the ability to feel things.

He knew the orcs had spread some lies that had taken root in the minds of their own, and those outside of their race weren't free from this corruption.

"Of course we are! We aren't monsters," Gribnox answered, his voice rising with hurt and pride, eyes glistening. This was the first time they were having a talk that didn't involve him in her.

"I see… I always thought goblins were the lowest of the low," Naz said, then saw the pain flash across his face. She reached out a hand, regret in her eyes.

It was like a song at this point that every race sang to him, but he didn't mind it because he knew it held some truth.

"I-I didn't mean any disrespect by it, but you're all so different," Naz said with a warm smile, her voice full of wonder now.

"We aren't. If it was left up to the goblins down there, you would be bound and violated repeatedly, but the fear of Drekk kept them in order… I'm afraid that fear is no longer there," Murkfang knew things were about to get out of order and hoped Byung had a plan to make sure these goblins don't get ahead of themselves.

However, the orcs were more than capable of defending themselves, but it would be a different situation if they were ambushed.

Gribnox knew this was future problems that could be handled at a later date.

"Ouch!" Naz exclaimed in discomfort, clutching her belly.

This naturally startled Gribnox as his body jerked in response, heart leaping to his throat.

"Are you okay?" Gribnox asked, voice thick with worry, eyes wide.

Naz's face broke into a radiant smile, tears shining. "H-He kicked!"

She was excited, and the look on her face confused Gribnox.

She should be disgusted to the bones that she was carrying the seed of a goblin, so why was she smiling?

"Feel it!" Naz blurted out, grabbing his hand with trembling joy as she placed it on her stomach.

And there it was. The baby kicked again.

"He is alive? But how?" Gribnox whispered, voice shaking with awe and disbelief because he was certain the baby would die.

However, the baby was kicking, and it seemed healthy even though he had little to no experience with these things.

"I cannot believe this…" Gribnox thought to himself, heart pounding with a mix of fear and hope.

-

Drekk was busy in a different part of this area. He couldn't understand how Byung became the way he was, but there was something the young goblin said that stuck with him.

He had presented himself as the Goblin King, and the more he thought about it, the more sense it made.

He brought about all of this change like he had prior knowledge about a civilization he never experienced.

There was no way anyone taught him this either due to how secluded they were.

Drekk was lost and wondered if Byung might be what he said he was.

If he was, he needed to make sure he was the real deal, but these armors in his hands told a different story.

Naruz watched him. Drekk had always been a wild beast, but it was like he had developed a new sense of awareness.

He was a goblin who lost faith in the being they all worshipped, the creature that made all of their suffering worth it.

"It can't be, can it?" Drekk thought to himself, but the mention of the sword sealed the deal.

Byung had no business knowing this, but Drekk knew he had to return to his mines.

But there was something strange happening. Vrongut should have arrived by now.

There was no way he would ignore his pleas because their bond went deeper than being from the same race.

They came from the same womb, one of the rare cases of a host giving birth to more than one goblin at a time.

Drekk stood up and walked up to Naruz. Naruz immediately adjusted her body language because she had no idea what he had in mind.

"You… Train me, now," Drekk demanded, his voice raw with need.

He didn't take his loss personally. It took two orcs to subdue him without inflicting any lasting injuries on him.

However, if they wanted to kill him, it would have been a different case entirely because these orcs might not belong to any tribe, but they knew how to defend themselves due to fighting being part of the system they grew up with.

Drekk met a better opponent, and there was no reason why he shouldn't learn from her.

He didn't care if she was a woman or man. This was unimportant to him as the only thing he recognized was strength.

"Why should I?" Naruz questioned, her voice steady but eyes searching his.

Drekk wasn't ashamed because it would be an honor to be trained by someone who had beaten him.

"I want to get stronger…" Drekk answered, staring at his hand and disgusted by his weakness, voice breaking with self-loathing.

"So you can kill me?" Naruz questioned with a raised brow, and Drekk looked her right in the eye as a blood-curdling smile distorted his face.

"I do… I want to kill you so bad," he confessed, the words dripping with dark hunger.

Naruz took a step back without thinking and wondered why she did, but it was an automatic action because Drekk meant the words that came out of his mouth.

"This fucking psycho!" Naruz thought to herself, but there was one thing she could respect.

It was his honesty.

"Byung wouldn't like that," Naruz told him softly, watching his face.

Drekk looked puzzled for a second, then his eyes narrowed.

"You orcs will betray him. It is only a matter of time," Drekk answered, but this sentence made her smile, a real, warm one.

Why? It showed Drekk would only harm her should she betray Byung, which meant Byung had finally reached him; otherwise, this factor wouldn't be important.

Of course, Drekk didn't give this much thought, but he had let his thoughts slip through without meaning to.

"Fine, I will train you," Naruz accepted his offer, her voice firm with new purpose because she understood the change Byung was going to bring about.

Naruz had no idea how she found herself in this situation, but she found herself rooting for Byung to succeed and hoped she would live long enough to see it.
