From A Producer To A Global Superstar

Chapter 177: Max and bella

The internet had never seen anything like what happened next.

For hours, it felt like the entire world had turned against Dayo—articles, fake screenshots, edited images, manipulated interviews, twisted headlines. Everything was flooding every platform at once. It looked like the smear campaign was winning.

But something shifted.

Something nobody expected.

Dayo's fanbase—over 200 million strong—rose like a tidal wave.

And the wave hit back hard.

At first it started small—someone posted a fake article, and within seconds, ten replies dragged the writer. Then twenty. Then a hundred. Then thousands.

Within 30 minutes, nearly 100,000 accounts that posted defamation, hate, or "evidence" against Dayo got spammed, mass-reported, flagged, and permanently banned.

People who tried to mock him had their pages flooded.

People who commented "cheater" had their posts buried under thousands of replies.

Influencers who jumped on the trend suddenly started deleting their captions.

It wasn't normal internet activity.

This was organized. This was powerful.

This was the movement his fanbase promised:

Operation Clean JD Reputation.

And this time, they weren't calm.

They weren't quiet.

They weren't polite.

They were relentless.

Some people even posted videos crying:

"I swear, I believed the lies for five minutes. FIVE. I should be ashamed. How did I fall for this again after four years?"

Others were apologizing publicly:

"I almost believed them again. Something is wrong with online media. This is crazy."

People posted side-by-side screenshots showing how many accounts were disappearing every minute. Some even celebrated it.

One post read:

"Bro… it hasn't even been one hour and Twitter/X has banned 60,000+ accounts. JD fans are not playing."

Another:

"This movement is insane. These guys are too powerful. Even trolls are scared."

And someone else wrote:

"You guys better think twice before you say nonsense about Dayo again. We are everywhere."

By the second hour, even platforms began issuing warnings:

"You are commenting too fast. Slow down."

"Your report frequency is unusually high. This is your last warning."

But the fans didn't stop.

Not today.

Not when their idol was being dragged over lies.

It forced many of the early haters to quietly delete their comments and run. Some even locked their pages. Some deleted their entire accounts.

For the first time in four years, Dayo's supporters took full control of the narrative.

It wasn't just a comeback.

It was a counterattack—and it was brutal.

Meanwhile…

In a quiet living room, far away from the chaos of social media, Max and Bella sat on opposite couches, files and tablets spread everywhere.

They weren't stressing about the internet.

They were focusing on the mission.

Max leaned back, rubbing his eyes. "You seeing what's going on online?"

Bella nodded slowly. "Yeah. It's wild. But forget that for now. We need to talk about the investigation."

"Right." Max exhaled. "Let's start there."

---

Max's Background

Max Parker hadn't always imagined himself doing security or investigations for a superstar like Dayo.

He grew up in Minnesota—raised by a single mom who worked two jobs. He wasn't rich, but he was smart. Extremely smart.

By 17, he earned a full scholarship to study Criminology and Forensics.

He graduated with honors, top of his class.

Then everything crashed.

He applied for job after job, interview after interview, but something was holding him back.

A professor he had beef with?

A jealous classmate?

Someone sabotaging his references?

Whatever it was, every door stayed shut.

He spent months depressed, working part-time at a grocery store just to survive.

He almost gave up—until one night he saw a video pop up online:

"If you believe you have talent in investigation, analysis, combat, or intelligence work… report to this address. Interview tomorrow."

He almost ignored it.

But he went.

And that's where he met Dayo.

The interview room was silent. Max expected a panel, formal questions, background checks.

Instead, Dayo looked up at him for barely ten seconds, tilted his head slightly, and said:

"You're hired."

Max froze. "Sorry… what?"

"You're hired. Someone wronged you. Come work with me instead."

Max didn't understand how he knew that, but Dayo didn't explain.

He simply stood up, shook Max's hand, and walked out.

And from that day, Max never stopped being loyal.

Of course Dayo saw a potential of a triple S of course he would hire

Bella's Background

Bella Ogunlade had a completely different story.

Her father was Nigerian, her mother American. They relocated to the U.S. when she was young.

Growing up, Bella was fierce—smart, athletic, and stubborn. Her dad taught her self-defense and discipline. Her mom enrolled her in martial arts, gymnastics, and advanced problem-solving programs.

She studied Cybersecurity and Psychology, graduating early with an impressive record.

But Bella wanted excitement... not a desk job.

She joined underground sparring leagues for fun, hacked complicated systems for practice, and even helped solve one or two crimes unofficially.

Then the same interview clip Max saw appeared on her screen.

She thought it was a scam—until she arrived.

She walked into the room, ready to give a long speech about her credentials.

But Dayo took one look at her and said:

"You fight well… and you think even better. You're hired."

Bella blinked. "You haven't heard anything yet."

"I don't need to."

And like Max, she joined.

BACK TO THE LIVING ROOM

Bella leaned forward. "So… what's your read on all this?"

Max shrugged. "Boss is calm. Too calm. That means he already expected this."

"I thought so too," Bella said softly. "He told us a lot, but reading him is still hard."

"Same here."

Bella picked up her tablet. "Anyway… update on the investigation. I found the location."

Max sat up. "Which one? The lab?"

"Yeah. I've been tracing the people connected to Coach Mathew. One of them used a burner phone, but I got the endpoint location after three hours of tracking. I think I found the building."

Max whistled. "Damn. Nice."

Bella smirked. "And you?"

Max opened his notebook. "I found the guy we lost track of last month. The one who gave that the informationof Dayo going to fhe toilet? I connected him to a second number. I think I know where he's hiding."

"Perfect. So who do we go after first?"

Max thought for a moment. "The lab."

Bella nodded. "Yeah. That's where the real evidence will be."

"Tomorrow morning?"

"Tomorrow morning."

They clinked their water bottles together like two soldiers preparing for a mission.
