Forsaken Bloodline

Chapter 18: The Awakening of the Forgotten King

Julian staggered back, his mind spiraling in chaos.

The truth suffocated him.

He was the Top 1 Masterclass Superhuman.

He had erased his own memories.

And now, they were coming back like a flood.

Memories Unlocked

Flashes of battle.

A blood-soaked arena.

Dozens of fighters—some ranked, some unranked—all lying at his feet.

Their bodies twisted. Broken. Unmoving.

And at the center of it all—Julian stood alone.

A King among Monsters.

He gasped as the memories crashed down on him, his knees nearly buckling under the weight of it all. Faces he barely recognized—faces of those he had defeated—flashed in his mind, their terrified eyes staring into his soul. How many had he fought? How many had he crushed? How many had he—

No. He couldn't think like that.

His breath came in ragged bursts. His hands trembled. He had suppressed this truth for so long, had locked it away so deep that even he had believed the lie. That he was normal. That he could live as just another student. But he was never normal. He had never been just a student.

The Fear of His Own Power

His body shook.

This was what he had feared.

This uncontrollable strength.

This destructive force.

He had erased his own memories because he was terrified of what he had become.

Julial watched him closely, a knowing smile playing on his lips.

"Now you see," Julial murmured. "You were never weak, Julian. You were never just a 'Junior.'"

His silver eyes gleamed with something unreadable—satisfaction? Amusement? Or something darker?

"You were the strongest one all along."

Julian's heart pounded.

The memories—the power—they were waking up.

A thousand battles. A thousand victories. But at what cost? He had thought of himself as a protector, but what if he was just another monster? What if—

BOOM.

The Battle Underground

The underground lab shook violently.

Explosions erupted above.

The war between the Royal Army and the Superhuman Gangsters was still raging.

And now—

They were coming for Julian.

A voice crackled through the speaker system.

"Julian—come out, or we'll burn this entire school to the ground!"

It was the Royal Army's Commander.

Julian clenched his fists.

They still believed he was the killer.

They wanted revenge.

Julial tilted his head, watching him. "So, what will you do now, Julian? Will you keep running? Will you hide behind your guilt? Or will you finally—wake up?"

Julian closed his eyes.

His body burned with power.

For the first time in years, he stopped suppressing it.

He let it rise.

The air vibrated around him, crackling with energy. The underground lab trembled under the sheer force of his presence. Dust and debris floated upward, caught in the unseen force that pulsed outward from him. His own heartbeat was deafening in his ears.

Julial took a step back, his smirk faltering for the first time. "It's been a long time," he whispered. "Since I've seen you like this."

The Return of the King

Julian exhaled.

When he opened his eyes—they were glowing.

His white hair, with its green-tipped strands, fluttered in an unseen wind.

Power crackled around him, distorting reality.

He felt it fully now—his strength, his speed, his abilities—all of it. No more running. No more pretending. The real Julian was here. And he was done playing by their rules.

He lifted his hand, and the ground beneath them rumbled in response. The very air seemed to bend at his command. Power radiated from him, an undeniable force that sent a clear message to everyone—Julian wasn't just back.

He was ready to end this.
