The front door of the new house was ajar; it hadn't been closed.

Siao Jia had called over quite a few people.

At Yang Qing's direction, Siao Jia had not only summoned Xu Ke's parents but also invited their mutual friends.

"Jiajia, are these Xu Ke's mom and dad?" a friend asked, pointing at the couple on the sofa.

Siao Jia nodded, her eyes slightly red.

"Then you need to tell them all about what a bastard Xu Ke has been," the friend said indignantly.

Siao Jia lowered her head and remained silent. Yang Qing and a group of friends gathered around to comfort her. Clearly, they had just spent some time badmouthing Xu Ke in front of their friends.

On the sofa, Xu Ke's parents occupied the main seats. On either side of them were Siao Jia's mother, Chang Xiujuan, and her brother, Siao Fan. The two had already coordinated their stories with Siao Jia in private and were now just there to play along with her act.

Xu Zhenguo said gravely, "Siao Jia's mother, our Xu family has always been reasonable. You haven't presented any evidence, and my son isn't even here yet. Isn't it inappropriate to fling baseless accusations like this?"

His expression shifted, his presence commanding even without any show of anger. Seeing Xu Zhenguo's face, Chang Xiujuan felt a flash of apprehension. But then she remembered the evidence she had, and her haughtiness returned. "You want evidence? Of course, we have it. Siao Fan, show them the beastly things their precious son has been up to."

A stack of photos was slammed down on the table.

Siao Fan's mouth curled into a sneer as he said contemptuously, "Uncle, Auntie, take a look at the fine work your son has been doing."

The photos showed Xu Ke helping a female client stretch. He looked as if he was practically pressing his body against hers, and the physical contact appeared extremely intimate... The whole stack of photos showed similar scenes.

Shen Fen's face turned pale. "This can't be possible!" To a woman from a rural background like her, the photos were utterly indecent.

"A misunderstanding?" Chang Xiujuan's voice dripped with sarcasm. "If he can act like this in front of so many people at the gym, who knows how intense it gets in private?"

Xu Zhenguo was much more rational. "Xu Ke is a fitness trainer. While these actions are improper, they aren't necessarily a huge problem, are they?"

"Not a big problem?" Chang Xiujuan mocked. "Ha, I've really seen it all today. Your son does something inhuman, and you, his father, have some serious problems yourself.

"Didn't you see your son was about to press himself right on top of her?

"By your logic, they'd have to strip naked in the gym for it to count as cheating? That's ridiculous."

Xu Zhenguo's face turned dark with the sting of her ridicule.

"Mom, stop."

"Put the photos away."

Siao Jia cried out then, as if a raw nerve had been struck. "Xu Ke works so hard to make money at the gym. What's wrong with him having a bit more contact with these women?"

Chang Xiujuan shouted, "Impossible! I am absolutely going to get justice for you and set things right. Otherwise, the Xu family will think our Siao family is easy to bully!"

"That's right." Siao Fan stood up. "I used to respect my brother-in-law, but after what he did, he's not my brother-in-law anymore. He's just a bastard. Sister, I will definitely get you justice."

Siao Jia cried inconsolably, her sobs heart-wrenching. The friends rushed to comfort her.

"Jiajia, don't be sad..."
