Forced to Marry a Female Billionaire CEO

Chapter 13 Just Slapping the Face

Wong Qifu?

At the mention of her name, Li Jun's expression changed, a flicker of fervent desire in his eyes. Who didn't know who Wong Qifu was? She was not only the Wang Family Empress who controlled a business empire, but also the most sought-after beauty in all of Tianhai.

But why would she appear at the Golden K Bar at this time? The question rose in everyone's mind.

Wong Qifu strode to the center of the dance floor, with Wang Wu following close behind.

The first word that came to everyone's mind upon seeing Wong Qifu in her black dress was: beautiful. Incredibly so. The bar's dim neon lights shimmered across her flawless face, revealing her exquisite features. She was a beauty that could topple nations. In that moment, every other woman in the bar paled in comparison.

Countless gazes locked onto Wong Qifu, their intensity growing feverish. A moment later, they all began to envy her yet-to-be-seen fiancé. They wondered what kind of man could possibly be worthy of such a woman. Who could be that incredibly lucky groom?

Li Jun's eyes were locked on her, his gaze unwavering.

Jealousy flashed through Siao Jia's eyes.

Then, Wong Qifu, the center of everyone's attention, began to move. She walked straight toward Li Jun.

At this sight, the entire bar fell silent. What was going on? Had Wong Qifu come to the bar specifically for Li Jun?

Watching her walk straight toward him, Li Jun was beyond pleasantly surprised.

Could it be? Has Wong Qifu taken an interest in me?

At the thought, Li Jun quickly shook Siao Jia's hand off his arm, distancing himself from her. He then stood up, waiting for Wong Qifu to arrive.

Siao Jia's face fell, her eyes burning with resentment, but she didn't dare say a word.

The same question was on everyone else's mind. Seeing her determined path, they knew she must have come for Li Jun. Could her fiancé be Li Jun? If so, this was about to be a good show. Everyone saw Siao Jia by Li Jun's side and assumed Wong Qifu was here to catch a cheater.

People hurriedly pulled out their phones. This was big news!

"Are you Li Jun?" Wong Qifu stopped a short distance away, a playful smirk on her lips.

Li Jun fidgeted nervously. "I am, President Wang."

His family's power was nothing compared to the Wang Family's. Even his father would have to speak to Wong Qifu with the utmost respect, let alone a man like him. He wanted to appear suave and composed, but her powerful aura alone made his legs feel weak.

Wong Qifu said nothing, her eyes filled with mockery.

Xu Ke is always composed and self-assured, no matter who he's facing. In contrast, these scions are all weaklings, incapable of achieving anything great.

Her gaze swept past Li Jun, then Siao Jia, before finally lingering for a few seconds on the stack of photos on the table.

A dead silence fell over the room, so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Wong Qifu's silence only intensified the stillness. Everyone held their breath, feeling as if she held their very hearts in her grasp.

However, a new question crossed their minds. Looking at Li Jun's nervous state, he hardly seemed like a fiancé.

Just then, Wong Qifu withdrew her gaze and spoke flatly, "Uncle Wu, teach Li Shichuan's son a lesson on my behalf."

As she finished speaking, Li Jun's face changed.

What does that mean?

Before he could react, Wang Wu moved.

It was all a blur.

SMACK!

A heavy slap cracked across Li Jun's face with immense force. The sound was like a clap of thunder.

Li Jun spat out a mouthful of blood as he was flung backward, his head slamming into a table.

THUD.

The entire place was deathly still, everyone utterly shocked. What had just happened? They were dumbfounded. Everyone was dumbfounded. Why would Wong Qifu suddenly lash out? Was there some deep-seated hatred between them? That slap was clearly meant to be brutal!

Siao Jia tried to help Li Jun up, but he shoved her away.

In utter disbelief, Li Jun struggled to his feet, his cheek swollen and red, with blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. His eyes burned with anger and resentment as he stared at Wong Qifu. "President Wang, I want to know why! Can the Wang Family just assault people for no reason? I refuse to accept this!"

"You refuse to accept it?" Wong Qifu's expression turned icy. "Then keep hitting him. I'll tell you the reason while you're at it."

Li Jun's face went pale, and he immediately tried to run.

Wang Wu bowed. "Miss, shall I?"

"You do it. I'd rather not get my hands dirty," Wong Qifu replied coolly.

Wang Wu nodded and closed the distance. Li Jun had no time to react; escape was impossible. Wang Wu unleashed a flurry of strikes, slapping Li Jun from both sides. After four or five slaps, blood was flying from his mouth, and his face was a swollen, bruised mess with bloody welts forming on his skin. Before they came, Wong Qifu had given a clear order: only hit his face.

He was sent sprawling to the ground once more.

His chest burned with suppressed rage, but he didn't dare to look Wong Qifu in the eye, knowing he must have offended her somehow. Not wanting to appear completely broken, he turned his head and glared at Wang Wu, his bravado barely hiding his fear. "Why?" he slurred, his words indistinct from the beating.

Wong Qifu remained expressionless and stated flatly, "Because I don't like the look of you."

At her words, the entire bar stood agog.

This was bullying, pure and simple
