Chapter 61: Chapter 59: Dumbledore's Hint... Bella's Strange Feeling... Night With Kitsune... (R-18)
Hogwarts...
Headmaster's Office...
The room was enveloped in silence.
While Dumbledore chuckled softly, seemingly carefree, the rest of the professors were stunned to learn that a shop in Diagon Alley was owned by the Morningstar family—a name of considerable weight and mystery.
"Headmaster, could we know the name of this shop?"
The silence was broken by Professor Filius Flitwick, the half-goblin Charms Master, whose curiosity had been piqued.
Hoho~
"I'm afraid I am not particularly familiar with the shop, Filius,"
Dumbledore replied with a twinkle in his eyes.
Stroking his long, white beard, he added with a mischievous tone,
"If you wish to know more, you might direct your questions to Minerva."
All eyes turned to McGonagall, who appeared visibly relieved at hearing that Leo Morningstar had thwarted the Death Eaters.
Professors Horace Slughorn, Pomona Sprout, and Flitwick leaned in with curiosity, eager to hear more.
Seeing their interest, McGonagall hesitated briefly before recounting her encounters with Leo Morningstar.
She explained how she had first met him at Ollivanders, and later at the newly established potion shop, Cauldron & Charm Apothecary, when she had escorted a new Muggle-born student to purchase their supplies.
"Oh my... who would have thought a Morningstar would reappear like this…"
Slughorn mused aloud, his voice tinged with both astonishment and amusement.
"Poor Death Eaters, stumbling into such misfortune."
Sigh~
'I should brew some Felix Felicis… just in case. One can never be too careful.'
Slughorn made a mental note, vowing to take precautions to avoid any similarly unfortunate encounters with a hidden powerhouse of the wizarding world.
"If any of you are curious, I recommend taking new Muggle-born students to the shop when you escort them to Diagon Alley,"
McGonagall added, sensing their intrigue.
"The quality and cost of the products are leagues ahead of others."
Her suggestion wasn't entirely selfless; she recalled her promise to Leo to speak well of his shop.
Dumbledore, who had been silently observing the discussion, finally interjected.
"Minerva, I believe we may have a potential solution for the Defense Against the Dark Arts vacancy... but before making a decision, I'll need to observe Mr. Morningstar more closely."
His calm words immediately drew the attention of the room.
A knowing silence fell as the professors exchanged glances, already suspecting the direction Dumbledore's thoughts were taking.
After a brief pause, McGonagall nodded, initially startled by the implication but quickly regaining her composure.
"I understand, Headmaster. I'll keep that in mind."
Diagon Alley...
Cauldron & Charm Apothecary...
The shop had finally quieted down after the chaotic events of the day.
The crowd that had gathered earlier dispersed completely, and Bellatrix had left after ensuring the situation was under control.
Now, the calm inside the shop was broken only by the sound of footsteps as Severus and Eileen emerged from the potion brewing room.
Both mother and son looked visibly worried, accompanied by Kejoro, who appeared as composed as ever.
Having witnessed Leo's strength firsthand, she was unsurprised by the outcome and trusted that the intruders had no chance against him.
Sigh~
'Who would've thought I'd end up mimicking Homelander's "Alright..." here? It actually worked surprisingly well.'
Leo chuckled softly to himself as he sat back at the counter, his thoughts drifting to his earlier actions.
Despite the chaos, everything had resolved itself smoothly, and he had simply gone with the flow.
"Leo, is everything all right? You're not hurt, are you? Kejoro wouldn't let me come out when I heard all that noise!"
Eileen hurried over to him, her eyes scanning him for any signs of injury.
She had been deeply concerned after hearing the commotion, especially since Kejoro had kept her and Severus confined to the brewing room during the confrontation.
Even though she knew Leo was powerful and came from the legendary Morningstar family, her motherly instincts overrode logic.
The knowledge that more than ten dark wizards had attacked made her worry all the more.
"Eileen, don't panic... To deal with them, I didn't even need to lift a finger."
Leo smiled, touched by her concern, and reassured her that he was unharmed.
He explained how easily he had handled the intruders, his tone lighthearted.
'Of course, they couldn't lay a finger on you. You'd have electrocuted them into oblivion.'
Kejoro rolled her eyes at his nonchalant words.
She knew exactly what kind of monster Leo was.
Eileen might not fully grasp his terrifying potential, but Kejoro had seen it firsthand in her own world.
As the day drew to a close, Leo decided it was time to wrap up.
After the eventful series of events, the shop was locked up for the evening.
Together, Leo, Eileen, Severus, and Kejoro made their way back to their home in Cokeworth, leaving the drama of Diagon Alley behind—at least for now.
Cokeworth...
Morningstar Mansion...
After returning to the Morningstar Mansion, Leo joined the others for a hearty meal prepared by Wakana.
The warm, comforting aroma of freshly cooked food filled the dining room as they sat together, discussing the day's dramatic events.
Click~
"Tch. I should have stayed back."
Setsura clicked her tongue in annoyance, visibly displeased at having missed the opportunity to deal with the troublemakers herself.
"What do you think? Let's just wipe out all those Death Eaters."
Hagoromo Gitsune, now going by Kitsune, leaned back with a sly smile, her sharp eyes narrowing.
From what she had learned by reading the Harry Potter books and watching the films, she concluded that this group of wizards was nothing more than a band of arrogant, racist clowns.
"No, we're not doing that."
Leo shook his head firmly, rejecting the idea outright.
"If we step in and eliminate them, the Ministry will become wary of us. It'll complicate things unnecessarily. Let them handle their own mess for now. We won't interfere unless it becomes absolutely necessary."
Kitsune tilted her head slightly, her golden eyes glinting mischievously.
"So, you're saying you trust those Ministry buffoons to deal with the likes of them?"
"I wouldn't go that far,"
Leo replied, a smirk tugging at his lips.
"But keeping the balance is important. The last thing we need is them seeing us as a threat. For now, they're content seeing us as allies—or at least neutral. Let's keep it that way."
Setsura sighed dramatically, resting her chin on her hand.
"Fine, fine. But next time, don't leave me out of the fun."
Wakana placed a steaming plate of food in front of Leo with a soft smile.
"Let's not forget that maintaining a low profile for now is part of your strategy, Leo. Besides, there's no need to dirty your hands unnecessarily when the Ministry can do it for you."
Kejoro, who had been silent until now, chuckled.
"Wise words, Wakana. Though I must admit, I enjoyed the show today."
Leo leaned back in his chair, the weight of the day easing from his shoulders as the lively banter of his companions filled the room.
Despite the tension of earlier events, the atmosphere at the mansion was warm, safe, and filled with camaraderie.
After finishing their meal, Leo retired to his study, determined to think through the potential implications of the day's events and the challenges that might arise shortly.
12 Grimmauld Place...
After a long and eventful day, Bellatrix entered her room, her mind still buzzing with thoughts of the chaotic events at Diagon Alley.
She collapsed onto her king-sized bed, closing her eyes as she tried to process everything that had happened.
Roll~
With a small, frustrated roll, Bellatrix buried her face in her pillow, the softness of the fabric unable to soothe the flustered feeling bubbling in her chest.
She couldn't stop thinking about the moment she instinctively stepped in front of Leo when the Aurors were about to question him.
Even more surprising was the fact that she had used her Black family name to defend him, a man she had only met less than 24 hours ago.
Her face flushed even deeper at the thought.
This was the first time she had ever done something like this for any man.
Her reputation among the pure-blood families was notorious, especially when it came to men trying to make advances on her.
Anyone who dared was swiftly dealt with, often leaving them thinking twice before attempting anything further.
Until now, she had always felt disgusted by the greed and entitlement in the eyes of those who ogled her and her sisters.
But Leo... something was different.
Her mind kept returning to the way he had acted so effortlessly, so confidently in the face of danger.
Just as she tried to gather her thoughts, the door to her room creaked open, and in walked her father, Orion Black, and the family elf, Kreacher.
"Kreacher, go and inform Bellatrix that I summon her."
Orion's voice was firm, his expression serious, and Bellatrix immediately tensed at the tone.
She had never seen her father like this, and it made her heart race in anticipation.
Kreacher, with his hunched back and shuffling gait, nodded and left to find Bellatrix.
Meanwhile, Orion moved toward the couch, his face etched with the weight of whatever news was about to unfold.
Walburga Black, Orion's wife, noticed the tension in her husband's expression and approached him, her curiosity piqued.
The other members of the Black family followed suit, sensing the gravity of the moment.
Whisper~
"What's going on, sister? Why did Uncle summon Bellatrix?"
Narcissa's voice was barely audible, a whisper of concern as she leaned toward Andromeda.
Her eyes flickered nervously toward her uncle, knowing that whatever was happening wasn't good news for her older sister.
Whisper~
"I don't know... but it doesn't look like good news for Bella,"
Andromeda whispered back, her face betraying her worry.
"I guess Cissy... we'll find out soon enough."
The room fell into a heavy silence as they all waited for Bellatrix's arrival, the air thick with unspoken questions.
Cokeworth...
Morningstar Mansion...
After having dinner and chatting and playing games, everyone went to their respective rooms to take a rest or do their own thing.
knock~ knock~
Leo was standing before a room and knocked it twice, it was Hagoromo Kitsune's room.
Today, he had promised Hagoromo Gitsune that he would be with her today and deepen their relationship to the roots.
"Who is it?"
A sweet voice of Kitsune came from inside the house, asking who was knocking at the door.
"It's me, Leo."
Hearing Hagoromo's voice, taking a deep breath, Leo responded, standing outside the room.
"____"
click~
After a slight pause, the door to the room clicked open, revealing Hagoromo Gitsune, who was bathed in the faint glow of lanterns in the room.
While Hagoromo Gitsune was sitting on the tatami mat calmly, her nine tails fanned out in a soft arc behind her.
Her traditional silk kimono, a deep black embroidered with silver foxes and pale sakura blossoms, clung to her form in a way that accentuated her ethereal beauty.
"____"
Witnessing all this, Leo was left speechless and wide-eyed; he couldn't take his eyes off her, who was sitting with such elegance.
sniff~
The scent of sandalwood hung in the air, mingling with the faint sweetness of cherry blossoms that adorned a low vase at the centre of the room, which he could clearly feel linger in the air.
Leo sat cross-legged on the tatami mat in silence, his posture uneasy despite the serenity of the space, still eyeing Hagoromo's body.
"____"
smirk~
"You seem distracted,"
Feeling the burning gaze of Leo bore into her body greedily, with a smirk, she said, her voice lilting and teasing.
Her black eyes gleamed with mischief as she leaned forward slightly, the fabric of her kimono shifting to reveal a hint of her pale collarbone.
"Is my figure to your liking, Leo?"
With a smooth low voice showcasing her figure in a sexy way, Hagoromo Gitsune purred in his ears while her tails were swinging fast.
chuckle~
He chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Well, it's not every day you find yourself alone with a Kitsune in her den."
Leo leaned forward and closed the distance inhaled her scent and spoke in her ears.
"Alone?"
She tilted her head, a playful smile tugging at her lips.
"You should feel honoured, not nervous. Or... is it something else?"
Her teasing tone and the flick of one of her tails against his arm made Leo's heart race, playing her role.
gulp~
"It's just… you're so… mesmerizing. It's hard to think straight."
He swallowed hard, trying to keep his composure.
fufu~
Hagoromo Gitsune's laughter was soft, like the chiming of bells.
"How sweet of you to say. But you've been brave enough to stand by me and face enemies without fear. Why falter now?"
Before he could respond, she reached out, her delicate fingers brushing against his cheek.
shiver~
"____"
Her touch was cool and soothing, yet it sent a shiver down his spine.
"Let me help you relax,"
She whispered, her voice dropping to a sultry murmur.
Leo's breath hitched as she moved closer, her abyss-black eyes never leaving his.
The scent of her, a heady mix of jasmine and something untamed, enveloped him.
Her fingers trailed down his neck, lingering for a moment before retreating.
He reached out instinctively, catching her hand in his.
"Hagoromo,"
He said, his voice low but steady.
"I…"
Shh~
She placed a finger gently against his lips.
"Words aren't necessary now. Just feel."
smooch~
The space between them seemed to shrink as she leaned in, her lips brushing against his in a kiss that was both tender and electric.
Her tails swirled around them, creating an intimate cocoon of silken warmth.
Time seemed to slow, the world outside fading away until there was only her—her touch, her scent, her essence.
As the kiss deepened, her hands began to explore, sliding over his shoulders and down his chest, the silk of her kimono brushing against his skin.
She guided him down gently, the tatami mat firm beneath him as her tails wrapped around him, drawing him closer.
The glow of the lanterns cast dancing shadows across the room, painting their intertwined forms in golden hues.
Hagoromo Gitsune's lips trailed from his mouth to his jawline, leaving a heated path down his neck.
Her breath was warm against his skin, her eyes smouldering as she paused, her gaze locking with his.
"Tonight,"
she murmured, her voice a mix of affection and raw desire,
"You are mine entirely."
Leo's hands moved instinctively, tracing the curve of her waist through the layers of silk, his touch tentative but growing bolder.
He marvelled at the softness of her skin, the otherworldly warmth of her presence.
"Always,"
he whispered, his voice heavy with emotion.
Their movements became a seamless dance of passion and tenderness, each touch, kiss, and whispered word deepening their connection.
The room seemed to pulse with life, the flickering lantern light reflecting the intensity of their bond.
Her lips left a heated trail from his mouth to his neck, her breath warm and intoxicating against his skin.
The delicate movements of her hands and tails were deliberate, teasing, and impossibly soft.
The layers of her kimono slipped away as if of their own accord, revealing the smooth curve of her shoulders and the ethereal glow of her skin in the lantern light.
Leo's touch grew bolder, his hands tracing the delicate contours of her body.
The interplay of light and shadow seemed to echo the rhythm of their movements, the room alive with the unspoken harmony of their connection.
Her tails coiled around him, their silken texture heightening the sensations coursing through him.
Each touch, each kiss, was a testament to the trust and passion they shared, an intimate dance that blurred the boundaries between the mortal and the supernatural.
Their breaths mingled, the warmth of their closeness dissolving all hesitation.
Hagoromo Gitsune's laughter, soft and breathy, mingled with Leo's murmurs as they surrendered to the night, their love consuming them in waves of unspoken promises and shared desire.
