Chapter 6: 6. Six Months Later
Six months passed quickly. At the Jedi Temple, Kael's progress continued unabated. Mace Windu and Yoda met to assess Kael's amazing pace and progress in training. The atmosphere in the council chamber reflected the masters' thoughts of concern and wonder.
Yoda, deep in thought, said, "Alarming, the progress of young Kael is. Fast and impressive," he said.
Mace Windu nodded thoughtfully and said, "Yes, Yoda. Kael's progress in such a short time is truly amazing. We have seen quick learners of the first three forms, but we have never seen anyone learn the fourth and fifth forms so quickly."
Yoda frowned and said, "Watch and guide him carefully, we must. Quick learning, not always good it is. Experience, he must gain."
Mace Windu nodded in agreement with Yoda's words. "I have some ideas for him to gain experience, but I think it is too early. In a few years, when I have nothing more to teach him about the lightsaber, we can do what he needs to gain experience."
Yoda took a deep breath and went on. "Already, the level of a Jedi in his connection with the Force, he has reached. How much he can learn and achieve with the Force, the future will show. Surpass us, he will."
After listening to Yoda's words of wisdom, Mace Windu said, "While Kael's training is important, we must not neglect Obi-Wan's. We cannot place all our hopes in one child."
Yoda narrowed his eyes and thought. "Yes, important supporting Qui-Gon is. Also supporting Obi-Wan, if we do, then solely on Kael, the other Jedi Masters will not focus."
At the end of this conversation, Yoda and Mace Windu decided to focus more on Kael's training and provide Qui-Gon Jinn with the necessary guidance and support. While Kael's rapidly advancing abilities amazed the Jedi Masters, they would do what was necessary to protect him from potential dangers by hiding much of his potential.
Kael's progress in training at the Jedi Temple led to a reputation that quickly spread. In the eyes of his masters and peers, Kael was seen not only as a talented Jedi candidate, but as one of the great Jedi Masters of the future. His skills were the talk of the Temple and even the regions beyond Coruscant.
Some thought young Kael would surpass Master Yoda.
One morning, Kael sat in deep silence in his meditation room. He deepened his connection to the Force and calmed his mind. Following Yoda's teachings, he focused on finding inner balance and peace.
Yoda did everything he could to strengthen Kael's connection to the Force. He didn't want his high-potential apprentice to fall into the dark path. It would be a disaster if that happened.
One of the things he did to protect his pupil was to protect him from outsiders. Some Republic officials had wanted to contact Kael after hearing about his gift, but Yoda and Windu had flatly refused. They didn't want their little apprentice to be deceived by some people.
In his training, Yoda sometimes didn't just teach about the Force. He also tried to teach Jedi principles as best he could.
After the long training sessions, he had only one worry. No matter how well he taught Kael, some things could not be avoided. It was possible that an emotion like love could affect Kael. A person would be willing to do anything for the one he loved. Yoda could only hope that this would not happen.
Meanwhile, Kael's mental abilities had grown stronger and clearer.
Kael's telekinesis had also improved remarkably. He could now move not only small objects, but also larger ones. In one training session, under Yoda's guidance, he was able to levitate several large rocks. It was an important step that showed how far his control of the Force had come.
"Good, young Kael," Yoda said as he watched this feat. "Feel the Force. Maintain balance and peace, you must."
With these words etched in his mind, Kael continued to explore the depths of the Force. During his training, he also developed the ability to push and pull objects with the Force. These abilities gave him a great advantage in duels and training.
In another training session, while practicing Form IV (Ataru) techniques under the guidance of Mace Windu, Kael also made great strides in speed and agility. His reflexes, backed by his strength, helped him excel on the battlefield.
Observing Kael's progress, Mace Windu said, "You are progressing at an impressive rate, Kael. But remember, your mind and body must be in balance, keeping pace with each other.
Kael took his master's words to heart and made sure to channel his ambition in the right way. He tried to learn to use the Force not only physically, but also mentally.
If one learned enough of the Force, one could even see the future for a short time. This is why some very powerful people in history could not be assassinated. It was not uncommon to see 10 seconds into the future with the Force.
Kael's healing abilities had also improved. He could quickly heal minor injuries with the Force. If he suffered a minor injury after a duel, he could use the Force to heal his own body. This was an important skill that increased his endurance and resilience.
To further explore the depths of the Force, Kael placed great importance on meditation sessions under Yoda's guidance. These sessions increased his mental clarity and strengthened his connection to the Force. Yoda was pleased with Kael's progress and guided him constantly.
What pleased Yoda most was Kael's discipline.

At the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, another important meeting took place in the Council Chamber. Masters Yoda, Mace Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Plo Koon and other council members sat around the round table. The mood was somber with news of the growing threats in the galaxy.
After a moment of silence, Yoda called the meeting to order."Full agenda, we have today. Important matters to discuss, we do."
Mace Windu spoke first, "We have new information about the Sith Lord we have been searching for so long. We may have located him," he said, a gleam of determination in his eyes.
Frowning, Ki-Adi-Mundi said, "If this information is confirmed, this is a serious development. We must act quickly to maintain the balance of the galaxy.
Taking a deep breath, Plo Koon said, "Yes, but it is also important not to rush. The dark side of the Force is insidious and dangerous. We must be careful."
Yoda said thoughtfully, "Rush, we must not. Plan carefully, if the information is correct, we must."
Mace Windu echoed Yoda's words of wisdom, "You are right, Yoda. We must choose carefully the Jedi who will undertake this mission. He must be strong and experienced.
The members of the council debated who should take on this important task. Qui-Gon Jinn's name came up. His wisdom and experience made him the ideal candidate for this dangerous task.
Ki-Adi-Mundi said, "Qui-Gon is a suitable candidate for this task. His skills and experience can help him accomplish this difficult task," said Ki-Adi-Mundi.
Plo Koon agreed with Ki-Adi-Mundi and said, "Yes, under Qui-Gon's leadership we can accomplish this mission. But we must also provide him with a team to assist him in this mission.
Yoda, after careful consideration, said, "Yes, adequate Qui-Gon is. Important, the support team is. Feel the Force and choose the right people, he must."
Mace Windu agreed with Yoda's decision and said, "We will offer Qui-Gon Jinn this mission and assemble a strong team to support him. We must begin preparations to capture the Sith Lord immediately.
Following this decision, the Jedi Council agreed to offer Qui-Gon Jinn this important mission and to identify team members to assist him. This mission is vital to maintaining the balance of the galaxy, and the Jedi Masters are determined to do everything in their power to successfully complete this challenging mission.
