First Legendary Dragon: Starting With The Limitless System

Chapter 425: Dragon's Island

Far away from Orion's current location, on another continent much larger than Zorathal, existed the mythical world of Dragons. And deep within the lair of the Fire True Dragons, towering volcanic mountains stretched endlessly, their peaks cloaked in clouds of smoke.

Streams of molten lava flowed continuously like fiery veins, illuminating the landscape in shades of blazing red and gold, while it spewed out countless natural fire elemental treasures, each enough for Noble Houses to wage war.

Among these volcanic giants stood one mountain in particular, so immense and imposing that it dwarfed all others nearby.

Atop its summit, created from volcanic obsidian and crimson-hued crystals, stood an immense, awe-inspiring palace, exuding majesty and overwhelming power.

Inside this colossal structure, intricate corridors and massive halls stretched for miles, each meticulously designed with draconic symbols and ancient runes pulsating with extreme fire energies.

Deeper within, the corridors led into a grand chamber, directly connected to the very heart of the enormous volcano.

Here, an enormous pool of seething lava flowed quietly, bathing the chamber in an intense, fiery glow that would incinerate any ordinary creature in mere seconds.

Yet, within the scalding lava stood a breathtakingly powerful being, completely unaffected by the unbearable heat that would annihilate even Exalted grade beings instantly.

Her body radiated an innate, natural supremacy, possessing the majestic dignity of a True Dragon in her human form.

Her slender yet fit figure shone through the molten lava, unblemished and radiant. From her flowing, fiery-red hair, two elegant draconic horns extended gracefully, curving upwards.

Behind her spread a pair of magnificent dragon wings, their surfaces glistening with vibrant crimson scales that seemed to shimmer even within the blazing pool.

Her golden draconic eyes stared ahead with a quiet, contemplative intensity. Slowly, a powerful dragon tail swayed beneath the bubbling lava, leaving subtle ripples upon its surface.

Despite her calm exterior, a storm of emotions raged deeply within her gaze, deep sorrow and an overwhelming fury interwoven tightly together.

Her gaze locked coldly upon the formations surrounding her palace, arrays of ancient runes interlinked by threads of searing mana, crafted meticulously by apex entities of her own clan.

These formations created an intangible yet unyielding barrier, forcibly restraining her immense draconic aura from erupting outward.

The barrier continuously flickered and trembled under the sheer force of her presence, yet it still managed to hold her captive, at least for now.

Gazing coldly at the oppressive formations, her beautiful features twisted slightly with anguish, yet determination shone fiercely in her draconic eyes.

"Just wait a while longer..." she whispered softly, her voice melodic yet filled with unspeakable bitterness and rage. "I will leave this wretched place, and when I do, I swear upon my very soul, I will find you."

Her voice trembled slightly, carrying the weight of immeasurable anguish and wrath, as her fists clenched tightly beneath the lava, causing fierce waves to erupt around her.

Reality itself seemed to tremble in response to her rising emotions, space subtly distorting around her powerful figure.

"How dare they separate me from my son…" Her whisper grew dangerously cold. Her heart burned with fierce maternal rage, a fury capable of shaking the entire continent once unleashed.

An indescribable chaotic ball of energy floated in front of her that seemed to hold something inside; it steadily sent a stream of energy into her body as her strength slowly but steadily continued to increase as time passed.

After being locked here by her own father due to her actions in the Zorathal Continent all those years ago, she had been crazily increasing her strength with this treasure she had found before.

Her strength had already surpassed most of the Older Dragons, reaching nearly the ceiling of power of this world. Yet she could not destroy the formations and barriers this ancient mountain had.

"Soon…soon I will be able to leave this place…" Her eyes coldly looked at the formations. Her power would soon reach the limit of this formation, and that would be the time she could leave.

Outside the immense volcanic mountain, massive mountains stretched endlessly as far as the eyes could see.

Massive rivers of molten lava cascaded down the colossal peaks, painting the landscape with fiery brilliance. The skies above roiled with swirling crimson and ashen clouds, stirred continuously by blistering waves of heat radiating from below.

Upon a cliff jutting out from a neighboring peak stood a strange-looking young man, wearing clothes utterly foreign to the world around him.

His casual stance was oddly at ease despite the oppressive surroundings, clearly showing his strong strength despite his appearance.

Beside him lay a truly gargantuan dragon, its scales glowed fiercely with the intensity of molten steel, each one radiating fiery light powerful enough to ignite ordinary materials instantly.

Its massive body coiled gracefully around the cliffside, emanating an aura of immeasurable power.

The youth, whose stature was dwarfed so severely that he couldn't even match the size of one of the dragon's colossal eyes, chuckled softly in amusement.

Looking toward the sealed mountain, he spoke with an oddly cheerful tone that sharply contrasted the gravity of their surroundings:

"Isn't she getting a bit too strong, too quickly? I fear she might exterminate us before the laws of this world do."

The immense dragon slowly lowered his head, golden eyes filled with wisdom as deep as oceans, voice rumbling loudly, each word reverberating like distant thunder.

"No matter how frivolous my daughter may seem, she will not massacre us. She merely resents that we forcibly separated her from her offspring."

The strange youth smiled faintly, shaking his head in gentle amusement.

"There are only two True Fire Dragons left in your Drakonis Clan, you and your daughter. Three if we count her child, though he's not even a pureblood. Are you sure it was wise leaving him among the humans?"

The young man clearly recalled the incident vividly. After all, he himself had been the one to personally restrain her when she went berserk, violently devastating the human kingdoms.

It had nearly sparked a war between Dragons and Humans, forcing him into action.

The dragon elder remained solemn, unperturbed by the youth's question, replying calmly, "Indeed. If he cannot survive alone, it's hardly a pity if he perishes among humans. He's merely a bastard child whose father's identity remains a mystery even to me."

He paused, golden eyes narrowing with a hint of solemness, then added, "However, if you hadn't intervened and brought her back in time, that human, Dawn, would undoubtedly have slain her on the spot."

At the mention of Dawn, even the usually carefree young man's expression darkened slightly. A seriousness replaced his amused demeanor, the name clearly carrying enormous weight and significance even to the True Dragons.

"Indeed," the young man murmured thoughtfully, gazing into the distance. "It's baffling how someone like Dawn could emerge from among the Humans. He not only uncovered that cursed legacy but mastered it to a terrifying extent. Even Dragon Island would suffer catastrophic losses if we attempted to eliminate him."

The colossal dragon elder nodded slowly, his powerful gaze reflecting deep contemplation.

"He rivals even the ancient Dragon Kings, yet now, in an era devoid of their authority, he's free to run rampant. Thankfully, the Demons keep him sufficiently occupied. Otherwise, the Human Zone would have expanded by a large margin by now."
