Final Messiah System

David moved like an angel on the battlefield. No demon was safe from his blade as he cut any of them that stood in his way.

Everyone took note of him, confused as to who he was and what he was doing here, but none of them would be foolish enough to reject his help.

All eyes were on him, and while he could feel his heart beating, there was also this euphoria running through his body, invigorating him.

However, even if his strength was great, he knew that something worse would be coming. He needed to get rid of all the demons in time bu,t they just kept coming.

"Demon Totems Located. They are helping to resurrect demons back to the portals."

"Oh, wish I knew that earlier!"

"They were not there when I scanned it earlier; the demons must have placed it down."

"Fine, can you please just put up-"

Suddenly, the five demon totems were marked by his HUD glowing red.

"Huh, wow, okay, that was fast, thanks." He zoomed off to the nearest one beside a couple of the B Rank students, finding the totem to be a small black obelisk that was hidden under the rubble.

He brought his sword down upon it, causing the totem to shatter violently, releasing a gust of demonic energy that surged throughout the stadium, cracking its walls.

It also sent many of the students flying away, slamming into the rubble with a thud.

"Everyone! Find the black obelisks by the ground; they're hidden underneath all of the rubble! Destroy them, and the demons will be easy prey!"

David decided that if the demons decided to plant more, he had to get everyone in on the truth so that this could go faster.

In no time, all of the demon totems were destroyed, either by a staff member, a government official or by a student.

However, all of the energy held by the totems lashed out, emitting a violent wave of destruction that sent everyone flying away into the walls.

David was about to go to the remaining demons, however just before he was gonna dash, he received another prompt.

"Heal everyone within the stadium. Accomplishing this mission allows a single sanctioned use of the [Ultimate Skill] of the [Blaster Set]."

He sighed again; what kind of missions were these??? 

Why aren't they about killing monsters or looking the coolest? Well, it didn't matter, might as well do it.

Grumbling for a bit h,e began to go around the room, healing all the government officials and staff left over by a point with the skill [Heal D]. 

He even found his mother, who was currently using her powers as an Engineer Class to create robots to fight against the demons and, most importantly, find her son, who she had no idea if he was safe or not.

A small sigh rested on his lips to see her safe and sound.

"…Never fear Elizabeth, your son, he is safe. You have my word." He knew he sounded so ominous but he couldn't explain and simply left before she could say anything else.

David opened up his window to see if that was everyone, but then was greeted with something else.

"You would also need to heal all of the B Rank Students."

"Those assholes? No, they can handle themselves. They're all elitist pricks who don't care about anything but themselves."

His mind flashed to earlier with Jacob, and then last week when he had more of his cronies with him. He caught them trying to force this girl to come with them. 

David couldn't do anything at all then, and this was essentially a weekly thing.

"That does not matter. As of this moment, you will need to help them to complete this mission."

"…Tch fine." He really wanted that ultimate skill, and if it meant healing these bastards, might as well.

He then rushed towards their sides of the B Rank students, healing them up with his skill. 

Because the Rank of the Skill was a tier higher than their health, he only needed to completely heal them once before rushing off.

Even as he got to Jacob, which he mentally prepared himself for, all he did was gently shove his back, healing him.

"Mission Completed: Granting Ultimate Skill: [Blaster Overhaul D]."

Saying nothing, he dashed off to the remaining demons, cutting them down one by one until none remained.

"Alright, now it's time to pour mana into this-" But before he could continue, a dark aura overtook the battlefield.

It emanated from the crack right in front of David as a growl echoed throughout its depths.

Rising from the entrance to the Chasm was a demon the size of a bus, it had a fat body with the head of a boar; tusks sharpened like blades as it wielded a large axe with both hands.

On its back were little bat-like wings, which somehow managed to cause them to fly.

"High D Class Level Demon detected, the Aprum Demon."

"Shit, I'm going to need to conserve mana… we'll wait. Can other people close the gate?"

"Pouring enough mana into the gate will cause it to close down, regardless of if it's you or someone else."

"Good." 

David then raises his voice, addressing everyone who was left using [Speech Of Authority D].

"Pour your mana into the cracks to seal it! I will deal with the demon." 

[Blaster Set Mana Reserves D: 29/10]

A blue glow emanated throughout David's Suit as everyone started to place their hand into the cracks to transfer their mana.

"Alright, then big boy. Let's give them a show!"

He raised his sword up. "Initiate Boost! Initiate Harden!"

[Blaster Set Mana Reserves D: 27/10]

Immense energy surged throughout David, adrenaline was rushing, and he could feel his heartbeat with excitement.

Without a moment to lose, he dashed towards the Aprum Demon at supersonic speeds, slamming his sword into its sides.

However, unlike all the other demons before, the Aprum was quick to dodge, parrying away his blows and quickly counter-attacking, slamming David into the ground with the butt of their blade and then swinging into him like he was some golf ball.

"Ugh, shit, what is this guy made of-" Before he could get another word out, the Aprum slammed into him with their great axe.

[Blaster Set Health Reserves D: 7/10]

He saw his health go down and could even feel the aching in his bones.

"Alright that's it! Blast Blade Beam!" David raised his sword again, pointing it squarely at the Aprum, creating a beam of light that slammed into their chest, disintegrating a human sized hole into them.

[Blaster Set Mana Reserves D: 26/10]

However, the Aprum just laughed as it instantly regenerated.

"… What the fuck-" Was all he could say before he was stomped on by their foot, bearing their massive weight as it began to crack the [Blaster Set].

[Blaster Set Health Reserves D: 5/10]

"Shit shit! Uh, how do I activate the ultimate! What does it do!" David yelled at Thamiel as he pushed away the foot, tumbling away as he tried to catch his breath.

[Ultimate Skill: Blaster Overhaul. For 10 seconds, increase and activate all skills potency and the weapon Blast Blade gains the property: Removal. This property allows it to disintegrate anything that comes into contact with it. This costs 10 Mana]

"Worth it! Blaster Overhaul!" 

[Blaster Set Mana Reserves D: 16/10]

A wave of radiant light shot over David, coating his armor with energy that resembled that of an angels, giving him a holy appearance.

The Blast Blade by his side was shimmering in this strange light as well, now humming like a laser.

"You want to play?! Let's play!"

David disappeared from sight completely, moving so fast nobody around could see him as he sliced off the great axe, completely disintegrating it before he did the same to the Aprum's legs and hand, dismembering them so quickly that their regeneration was not able to keep up.

And soon enough, the demon was no more, discorporating back into the Chasm. 

It was then that finally, thanks to the efforts of everyone left at the school, that the gates were closed, completely sealing it off forever more.

For a few good moments, everyone sighed in relief, falling onto the floor as the sounds of sirens echoed in the background.

"It's finally done…" 

"…Now then, who are you sir? What was your business here" One of the government officials asked, actually the one who was doing the inspections earlier.

"…I saved everyone. That's all you have to know. Goodbye. Initiate Boost!"

Immediately, David left the scene, jumping away as fast as possible until he made it towards an empty back alleyway, sighing as he slumped on a wall.

The Blaster Set then disappeared off his body in a flash of light.

"Congratulations. All quests and side objectives have been completed. You have been awarded 10 Levels. Use them wisely."
