Rocks was no fool—only a smart strategist could build such a powerful pirate group.
From the information he gathered, Rocks knew Allen wasn't just some senseless killer, so he decided to send his top three subordinates to wear him down.
They may not be able to defeat Allen, but they could at least cause him some minor injuries and frustration. Once Allen was worn down, the navy would take over the fight. With both sides exhausted, Rocks could swoop in and finish off whoever remained standing.
If Garp and his team managed to capture Allen, Rocks would seize the moment to potentially recruit him for his own plans. The plan had endless benefits with little risk. Why wouldn't he go for it?
"All right, let's get started!"
Warfare tactics and all, Sengoku saw through Rocks' intentions, but before he could say anything, Garp stepped forward with a grim look.
Though he preferred to analyze strategies, Sengoku had no choice but to stand alongside his determined comrade.
Garp and Roger exchanged nods. "Hahaha, Garp! Never thought we'd be fighting together."
"Captain!" Roger's first mate, Rayleigh, looked worried and stepped up, but Roger held out a hand, stopping him. His gaze remained fixed on Allen with an unyielding focus.
"You go, Jabba. I'm concerned about Rayleigh. This fight isn't suited for him."
Rayleigh, knowing his limitations, gave a heavy sigh and hurriedly withdrew from the Valley of the Gods, understanding that a clash with Allen was beyond him.
Then, Garp shouted, "Allen!" There was no hint of trickery; he charged straight for Allen, fists enveloped in Armament Haki, with Sengoku and Roger flanking him from different sides.
"Bring it on!" Allen bellowed as he rushed to meet them head-on.
Surprisingly, Garp's attack connected; Allen stiffened briefly, allowing Garp's iron fist and Sengoku's shockwave to land, launching Allen backward.
"Divine Dodge!" Roger moved swiftly, his sword glinting with black and red energy as it sliced through the air, leaving a blood-red gash across Allen's chest.
Ignoring the wound, Allen set his eyes on the sneaky figure of Golden Lion Shiki, who had used his Float-Float Fruit power to momentarily disrupt Allen's movement.
"You're at it again, Shiki. I'll remember this!"
Allen's skin darkened with Armament Haki, nullifying Shiki's interference, though at a high energy cost. He steeled himself, focusing on the navy members in his immediate path before dealing with Rocks.
Divided into two opposing camps, Allen saw this as a great opportunity. He watched as his opponents' expressions turned to shock, his body exuding a dark aura that morphed into a robe with tortoise-shell patterns. The robe's hem waved with an energy like ocean waves, and Allen's eyes became serpentine, emitting a chilling killing intent.
"Oh no… he's using his fruit powers too!" Sengoku's face darkened. Allen had fought them equally without his fruit powers until now; with them, he'd be unstoppable.
Allen took a breath, his robe glowing, and unleashed his technique, "Frost Blossom: Icy Feast!" Seawater surged from his mouth, crashing in huge waves toward his enemies.
"Wait, what!?" Garp and Roger combined their attacks, temporarily breaking the oncoming waves. However, water, formless and relentless, continued to flood the Valley of the Gods, submerging its right half.
Seeing Sengoku struggling, Garp went to his aid, not noticing the glint in Allen's eyes. His move, Icy Feast, had just begun.
The temperature dropped suddenly, and the sea water turned to ice, freezing Garp, Sengoku, and Roger in a frigid trap.
"Now, Shiki, it's your turn."
Watching Allen dispatch the navy so easily, Shiki hesitated. Although Allen's power was incredible, Shiki wasn't foolish enough to think he could defeat him single-handedly.
"Hard to believe someone could be this strong…" muttered Charlotte Daifuku from a distance, staring in awe.
Captain John and Ōchoku standing beside her looked at each other with a sigh, and rarely paid attention to these little ghosts in Charlotte Lingling's house.
