"What did you say?" Zhu Ziyue was stunned.

"I asked if you're jealous!" Ye Chen repeated.

"You're really ridiculous, why would I be jealous?" Zhu Ziyue sneered.

Ye Chen was Fang Ruolan's man, what did it have to do with her? Why would she be jealous?

"If you're not jealous, then why is your face red!" Ye Chen looked at Zhu Ziyue, his lips slightly curled, and said.

"Who's blushing!" Zhu Ziyue argued with her mouth, but her actions betrayed her because as soon as Ye Chen finished speaking, she quickly covered her face, clearly trying to hide it.

"Haha." Ye Chen laughed as soon as he saw Zhu Ziyue getting shy, as if he found it very amusing.

"Ye Chen, don't go too far!" Zhu Ziyue covered her little face, feeling it burning.

"How am I going too far?" Ye Chen said innocently. "I just looked at you, and you blushed. What does that have to do with me? I didn't do anything to you!"

"Bastard!" Zhu Ziyue stomped her little foot in anger, but couldn't say anything, because Ye Chen seemed to really be in the clear.

But if Ye Chen didn't do anything, why would she blush?

Even Zhu Ziyue herself didn't know why!

"Zhu Ziyue, are you secretly in love with me?" Ye Chen suddenly asked.

"What did you say?" Zhu Ziyue's eyes widened, her voice raised, clearly provoked. Ye Chen actually said she had a crush on him?

"I know you don't dare admit it, but you can't fool me, you do have a crush on me!" Ye Chen said with unusual confidence.

"..." Zhu Ziyue gave Ye Chen a sideways glance, her eyes full of disdain and helplessness. Where did this guy get so much confidence? How could she possibly like him?

"If you won't admit it, forget it!" Ye Chen said. "But, I'm going to take Ruolan away, and you can't stop me!"

"Why!" Zhu Ziyue was anxious. "Ruolan is my disciple, why should I let you take her!"

"Then why shouldn't I take her?" Ye Chen countered.

"There's no 'why,' you just can't take her away!" Zhu Ziyue firmly stated.

"Alright, I get it!" Ye Chen suddenly said. "You just like me, want to keep me to yourself, and don't want me to be with anyone else!"

"You're full of crap!" Zhu Ziyue was instantly infuriated hearing this again, almost to the point of personal attack.

"You don't need to explain to me, because an explanation is just a cover-up, and a cover-up is just a fact!" Ye Chen said. "Zhu Ziyue, I know you like me, so there's no need to hide it!"

"Get lost!" Zhu Ziyue, unable to explain herself, cursed in exasperation.

"Alright, I'll get lost!" Ye Chen said. "But, I'm taking Fang Ruolan with me, I've given you a heads-up, so don't stop me!"

"No way!" Zhu Ziyue said. "If Ruolan dares to go with you, I won't acknowledge her! I raised her since she was little, treated her like my own daughter; I can't believe she'd dare to go with you!"

Zhu Ziyue spoke passionately, almost impenetrable, determined to play the villain!

"Zhu Ziyue, are you seeking death?" Ye Chen glanced at her and said.

Zhu Ziyue's stubborn obstruction made Ye Chen feel a sense of repulsion and irritation.

"I'm not seeking death, I'm doing it for Ruolan!" Zhu Ziyue said. "You've harmed too many women, I don't want her to be ruined by you!"

"Zhu Ziyue, after all we've said, you still won't admit you have a crush on me?" Ye Chen said.

"I won't admit it!" Zhu Ziyue said defiantly.

"Damn!" Ye Chen cursed. "Are you deliberately provoking me, does it feel good?"

"Hahaha, how did you know?" Zhu Ziyue inexplicably laughed, with a laugh full of joy, clearly enjoying it immensely.

In truth, Zhu Ziyue didn't even understand why she acted this way, why she opposed Ye Chen, intentionally angering him.

But, Zhu Ziyue just wanted to do it, and seeing Ye Chen angry made her inexplicably happy.

"You're turning love into hate!" Ye Chen said with deep meaning.

"There's no way I love you!" Zhu Ziyue denied.

"Bullshit!" Ye Chen disdained.

"Go ahead and insult me, I don't care. As long as you don't take Ruolan, you can even spit at me and I won't get mad!" Zhu Ziyue said indifferently.

"Hell, you're really determined to oppose me!" Ye Chen said.

"I can't watch Ruolan walk into a trap!" Zhu Ziyue righteously declared.

"..." Ye Chen was speechless.

"Ye Chen, just leave quickly, or else we'll both be awkward!"

Zhu Ziyue, seeing Ye Chen silent, spoke a line full of deep meaning after a moment of silence.

"Awkward?" Ye Chen was stunned, then laughed.

Ye Chen knew he hadn't guessed wrong, Zhu Ziyue indeed liked him!

"What are you laughing at!" Zhu Ziyue said displeased.

"I'm laughing because you fell for me without even knowing it!" Ye Chen said. "Stopping me from taking Ruolan isn't really for her own good, it's just your own stubbornness!"

"You're talking nonsense!" Zhu Ziyue, having her secret exposed, hastily denied it, her little face turning red.

"You like me!" Ye Chen looked at Zhu Ziyue, speaking slowly. "But you don't dare say it because I'm Ruolan's man, and you don't dare compete with your disciple for a man!"

"Don't talk nonsense and sully my reputation!" Zhu Ziyue said.

"How am I talking nonsense?" Ye Chen suddenly stepped forward, came up in front of Zhu Ziyue, and grabbed her small hand.

"Let go of me!" Zhu Ziyue, her hand caught by Ye Chen, couldn't break free for a moment, her little face blushing scarlet.

"Did you miss me?" Ye Chen, holding Zhu Ziyue's little hand, suddenly pulled her into his arms.

"Ah, who's missing you. Let go of me!" Zhu Ziyue cried out as Ye Chen hugged her, as if she was startled.

"Shout one more time and I'll kiss you!" Ye Chen threatened.

"Don't act rashly!" Zhu Ziyue was scared, because she had gone through this before, Ye Chen was too bold and could do anything!

"Behave yourself and I won't bully you!" Ye Chen said.

"Alright, I'll behave, just don't kiss me!" Zhu Ziyue said.

"..."

"Indeed, Zhu Ziyue likes me!" Ye Chen felt Zhu Ziyue's change, and couldn't help feeling a bit smug.
