Fate/Lust break

Chapter 73: Mistake No 2

The dream shifted, enveloping Ritsuka and Aesc in a new scene—the grand hall of Camelot, adorned with banners and illuminated by flickering torches. The atmosphere was thick with tension, and Ritsuka could feel the weight of the impending confrontation hanging in the air.

In the center of the hall stood Morgan, her expression fierce as she faced a group of knights gathered around a long table. Among them was Artoria, her regal presence commanding the room. The knights murmured among themselves, their expressions a mix of shock and disbelief.

"You dare to bring this before us, Morgan?" one knight exclaimed, his voice rising with indignation. "You would accuse the Queen of such treachery?"

Morgan stepped forward, her voice steady but filled with emotion. "I speak the truth! Guinevere and Lancelot have betrayed not only our king but the very ideals that Camelot stands for. Their love is a poison that will corrupt us all!"

The room erupted into chaos, shouts and gasps echoing off the stone walls. Ritsuka watched as Morgan's eyes burned with conviction, her determination shining through even as doubt crept into the minds of the knights surrounding her.

"Silence!" Artoria commanded, raising a hand to still the uproar. Her gaze locked onto Morgan, unwavering. "You claim to speak the truth, but you must understand the consequences of your words. If you wish to accuse our Queen, you must present undeniable proof."

Morgan's fists clenched at her sides. "I have proof! I have seen them together! The trust between us is shattered, and Camelot will fall if we do not act!"

But then came Artoria's calm, cutting response, striking Ritsuka like a lightning bolt. "I already knew."

The hall fell silent, all eyes turning to Artoria, who stood with an air of resignation. The knights were left speechless, and Morgan's face fell, a mixture of surprise and disbelief.

"You knew?" Morgan echoed, incredulity creeping into her voice. "And you did nothing? How can you remain so calm when your kingdom is crumbling?"

Artoria's expression softened, revealing a hint of vulnerability beneath her stoic façade. "I knew of their affair, yes, but it is not my place to condemn them. Lancelot is my most loyal knight, and Guinevere is my beloved. Their actions are a reflection of the hearts of men and women, bound by love and desire. To force them to choose between their love and duty is not a decision I can make lightly."

Morgan stepped back, the shock of Artoria's admission sending ripples through her heart. "You would let this betrayal fester, knowing it could destroy us? You prioritize their feelings over the safety of Camelot?"

Artoria sighed deeply, her voice heavy with regret. "I cannot choose for them, Morgan. But I can choose how I respond. We must find a way to protect Camelot without destroying those who love each other."

Ritsuka's heart ached at the sight of Morgan's hurt. He felt her turmoil, the weight of her responsibilities pressing down on her. The chasm between her and Artoria felt insurmountable, and he understood the pain of unrecognized sacrifice and loyalty.

"But at what cost?" Morgan asked, her voice trembling. "If we allow this betrayal to continue unchecked, Camelot will shatter. Trust is the foundation of our kingdom, and they have betrayed that trust. How can you protect what is already broken?"

Artoria looked at Morgan with empathy, her eyes reflecting the complexities of love, duty, and betrayal. "We are all human, Morgan. We all make mistakes. We must strive to be better, not just for ourselves, but for the future of Camelot. If we act rashly, we may destroy what we hold dear."

Ritsuka felt a swell of emotions—anger, sadness, and a deep desire to support Morgan. He wanted to shout at Artoria, to tell her that sometimes, choices had to be made for the greater good, even if it meant facing the hardest truths. He wanted to comfort Morgan, to tell her that her feelings were valid and that she wasn't alone in her fight.

As the tension in the room mounted, the dream began to shift again. Ritsuka sensed the impending clash of ideals—Morgan's passionate desire to protect Camelot and Artoria's commitment to mercy and understanding. He wished to grasp the threads of their fates, to guide them both toward a resolution that could heal their wounds rather than deepen them.

Before he could process his thoughts further, the dream faded into darkness, and Ritsuka found himself back in the void with Aesc, a sense of urgency coursing through him.

"That was… intense," Aesc murmured, her gaze contemplative. "Morgan is fighting a battle on two fronts—against the betrayal of those she loves and against the queen she respects."

Ritsuka nodded, determination etched on his features. "We need to help her see that she doesn't have to face this alone. There's strength in unity, and perhaps we can guide her to find a balance between loyalty to her family and the greater good of Camelot."

As he spoke, the dream began to swirl around them, hinting at yet another memory waiting to unfold—a memory that could change everything for Morgan, Ritsuka, and the fate of Camelot itself.

Ritsuka then felt him self being pulled. "Oh shit"

Aesc looked at him. "No, no, no, no, you even enter this memory"

As then Ritsuka was in the same moment Artoria said she knew, the whole room stoped as they saw Ritsuka this unknown person just standing there, he looked at Morgan achieved Pegasus skills grabbed Morgan used fire of the heart to burn the wall, a s flying away with her.

Morgan looked at him with the most confused face ever. "Who in the name of everything are you"

Ritsuka just looked at and smoke. "I am angel".

Aesc who was watching this just smacked her head. "Why again".

As she saw Ritsuka landing with Morgan in a forest, as then he saw the System activeted, the system only he can see

[ New Mission: Help Morgan Le Fay out, keep your fake identity, and good luck, rewords a deeper bond with Morgan when you wake up

Ps: bonus if you mess with the timeline even more then you already have ]

Ritsuka stared at the message from the System, his mind racing. The weight of the mission settled heavily on his shoulders, and he turned to Morgan, who was still trying to process everything.

"An angel?" she repeated, confusion swirling in her bright green eyes. "You just kidnapped me from my home! Why should I trust you?"

Ritsuka quickly regained his composure, adopting a more serious tone. "I'm here to help you, Morgan. I know you're facing a lot right now—betrayal, anger, confusion. But you don't have to bear it alone."

Morgan narrowed her eyes, suspicion still clouding her judgment. "And why would an angel care about me? This isn't a fairy tale where I'm the damsel in distress."

Ritsuka chuckled softly. "Fair point. But think of me more like… a guide, or a friend. I've seen what you've done for Camelot, and it's admirable. But I also see the burden you carry. Let me help lighten that load."

As they spoke, Ritsuka felt the pull of the dream fading, the forest shimmering around them. He knew he had limited time to make an impression, to forge a connection that could withstand the trials ahead.

"Listen, Morgan," he said, urgency creeping into his voice. "You have the potential to be a powerful leader. You can unite Camelot and ensure its survival, but you need to confront the darkness that's threatening to consume you. The truth about Guinevere and Lancelot may be painful, but ignoring it won't make it go away."

Morgan's expression softened slightly, the anger in her eyes flickering as doubt crept in. "And what would you know about my struggles, angel?"

Ritsuka took a step closer, lowering his voice. "I may not be from your world, but I understand what it's like to feel alone in your pain. I've fought for those I care about and lost my way at times. Trust me when I say that facing the truth is the first step to healing."

Morgan studied him, her gaze piercing as if she were searching for something deeper. Finally, she sighed, the tension in her shoulders easing just a bit. "If you're truly here to help, then what do you propose we do?"

"First, let's get out of this dreamscape and find a way to confront Lancelot and Guinevere together," Ritsuka suggested. "You deserve answers, and Camelot deserves a chance to heal. You can't do it alone, and I'm here to stand by your side."

Aesc, still watching from the sidelines, raised an eyebrow at the unexpected alliance forming. "This is definitely going to complicate things," she muttered under her breath. "But it might just work… if they can both stay on the same page."

As Morgan hesitated, Ritsuka's resolve strengthened. "You are stronger than you think, Morgan. Together, we can find a way to navigate this treachery and come out on top. What do you say?"

For a moment, silence hung in the air, the weight of Morgan's choices pressing down on them. Finally, she nodded, a glimmer of determination lighting her eyes. "Alright, angel. I'll trust you… for now. But if you betray me, I swear—"

"I won't," Ritsuka interjected, raising his hands in mock surrender. "I promise."

In that moment, the forest around them began to shift and fade, and Ritsuka felt the unmistakable pull of the dream world shifting once more. He glanced at Aesc, who was smirking knowingly.

"Well, well. You're making quite an impression," she said. "Just remember to keep up the charade. The timeline is already on shaky ground as it is."

Ritsuka nodded, feeling a renewed sense of purpose. "I'll do whatever it takes to help Morgan. I won't let her down."

With that, the dream enveloped them, the swirling colors and lights blurring their surroundings until they were back in Camelot's grand hall, right where they had left off. The tension hung thick in the air, and Ritsuka felt the eyes of the knights bore into him, their confusion evident.

Morgan turned to the knights, her voice firm. "I have something to say."

As she began to speak, Ritsuka felt a surge of excitement mixed with anxiety. The road ahead would be fraught with challenges, but with Morgan by his side, he felt ready to confront whatever lay ahead. This was only the beginning, and he was determined to rewrite the story for both of them.

Morgan faced the knights gathered in the grand hall, her expression calm but intense. Her eyes scanned the room, resting briefly on Lancelot and Guinevere, whose faces were lined with tension and guilt.

"Knights of the Round Table," Morgan began, her voice steady and commanding. "For too long, we've built Camelot on the strength of our bonds and the honor of our oaths. But those foundations have been tested—and cracks are beginning to show."

The knights shifted uncomfortably, exchanging glances. Artoria, who stood beside the throne, remained silent, her gaze firm but weary.

Morgan's eyes settled on Lancelot. "Sir Lancelot, I believe there is something that must be addressed. Something that has lingered in the shadows for far too long."

Lancelot stiffened, his gaze dropping. Guinevere clutched the hem of her dress, her face pale.

"Morgan, please," Guinevere whispered, desperation clear in her voice.

But Morgan continued, her tone relentless. "Camelot deserves honesty, even if it means facing hard truths. We can only move forward if we confront what lies beneath."

Lancelot finally looked up, his expression a mixture of shame and determination. "You're right, Lady Morgan. I've betrayed the very vows I swore to uphold."

Guinevere glanced at Artoria, guilt evident in her eyes. "I… we both did."

Artoria nodded slowly, a somber understanding in her gaze. "I have known for some time," she admitted. "But I believed that speaking of it would only further destabilize Camelot. I thought… perhaps, we could heal without addressing this."

Morgan shook her head. "Ignoring the truth won't heal anything, Artoria. You are the king, but even kings need to face their pain. We all do."

At that moment, Ritsuka stepped forward, surprising everyone in the room with his presence. He took a deep breath, addressing the knights directly. "If Camelot is to survive, then it needs more than just strength of arms. It needs honesty, courage, and unity."

The knights murmured among themselves, but Ritsuka held his ground, determined to make his point. "A kingdom built on lies will eventually crumble. You all know that. So, while this truth may hurt, it's a necessary step for the future of Camelot."

A silence settled over the hall, heavy and profound. Artoria met Ritsuka's gaze, a spark of gratitude flickering in her eyes. She turned back to Morgan. "Then let us face this truth together, Morgan. For Camelot's sake."

Morgan nodded, her face softening slightly. "For Camelot," she echoed.

With the tension diffused, the knights slowly began to understand that this moment, painful as it was, could be a turning point. Morgan stepped back, her eyes meeting Ritsuka's with an expression he hadn't seen before—something close to trust.

Ritsuka felt the dream beginning to fade, the image of Morgan standing strong lingering as everything dissolved into mist. He had a feeling that, somehow, he'd helped alter her view of her role in Camelot's downfall. Perhaps in her heart, a new path was beginning to take shape.

As he woke up in his own world, Ritsuka's heart pounded with exhilaration. The System's message appeared, confirming his accomplishment.

[Mission Complete: Help Morgan Le Fay confront her past. Bonus Achieved: Deeper bond with Morgan established. Reward: Enhanced bond.]

Ritsuka lay there, a smile creeping onto his face. This wasn't just a dream. It was a memory—a bond that would stay with him and with Morgan, perhaps even strengthening her resolve in the battles to come.

Ritsuka looked at his system. "I thought there will be more"

[ Oh right here is your Exp ]

Ritsuka blinked as a flood of notifications filled his system interface.

[Mission Complete: You have gained 5000 EXP!] [Bonus Reward: Special Skill Upgrade – "Heart of the Champion" has leveled up to Rank A] [Achievement Unlocked: "Guide of Camelot's Fate" – Increased connection with Morgan Le Fay]

Ritsuka felt a surge of energy flow through him as the system processed the EXP. He smiled, feeling the impact of his choices resonate, as if the bond he'd deepened with Morgan had genuinely strengthened his own resolve.

"Huh, guess that was worth more than I thought," he muttered to himself with a satisfied grin.

Just then, Aesc appeared in his dreamscape, crossing her arms with a wry smile. "Enjoying your spoils already, aren't you?"

Ritsuka chuckled. "Didn't think meddling in history would come with this many perks."

Aesc shook her head, amused. "Careful, Ritsuka. The deeper you dive into the memories of Camelot, the more entwined you'll become with those who lived and breathed its legacy. But… I think you're ready for that."

Ritsuka gave her a determined nod, bracing himself for whatever lay ahead.
