Fate: Zero to Hero

Chapter 198: To Fight a God

Late that day, everyone was gather in the meeting room

Kadoc just looked at Everyone. "So we know that Kirshtaria Lostbelt is the Norse Lostbelt, and now we must figure out how it happened"

Ritsuka thought for a bit. "In before the rest, I had dealt with the Norse lostbelt but it was under Ophelia and the Lostbelt Queen was Skaid, but this one is different Kirshtaria mentuon Asgrad which was not there"

Dr Romani thoughts for a bit. "So what are we looking like, Ritsuka what was the Original 5th Lostbelt the Greek Lostbelt like Ritsuka".

Ritsuka leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms as he began to recall his experiences. "The Greek Lostbelt was... complex. It was built on the idea that the gods had won and established their rule over humanity. The original Greek myths were twisted, with heroes and figures from the past taking on roles that benefited the gods. There was a sense of oppression among the mortals, who were essentially kept as playthings for the deities."

He glanced around the room, gauging everyone's reactions. "It was as if humanity had lost all agency. The Lostbelt was a cage for human potential. And it had its own set of challenges; the way the gods manipulated the people, the conflicts among heroes—they all had a purpose that served the narrative the gods created."

Kadoc nodded, absorbing the information. "That sounds quite different from what Kirschtaria has mentioned about the Norse Lostbelt. If he's saying Asgard is involved, it means that the structure of this Lostbelt may revolve around the Aesir gods and their interactions with humanity. We need to find out who or what triggered the shift from the original Lostbelt."

Da Vinci interjected, "We should also consider that if Kirschtaria is involved, then this Lostbelt might have been crafted with specific goals in mind, possibly to challenge our current status quo. The Norse pantheon is particularly vengeful, and we can't underestimate their motivations."

Ritsuka felt a shiver run down his spine at the thought. "If Kirschtaria has managed to create a new narrative with the Norse gods at the helm, then they might be positioning themselves for a significant power play. We can't afford to take this lightly. We need to gather intel and understand their motives before making any moves."

Kadoc rubbed his temples, feeling the pressure of their situation. "Alright, so our priority is to assess the power dynamics within the Lostbelt. We need to identify who the key players are and their relationships with one another. If Skað was the original Queen, we need to figure out who rules now and what their goals might be."

Anastasia leaned forward, her eyes bright with interest. "Perhaps we can use a combination of scouting and infiltration. If we can send in a small group to gather information, we might be able to learn about the structure of the Lostbelt without revealing ourselves. We need to stay under the radar."

Ritsuka nodded in agreement. "That makes sense. We should also consider the possibility that some of the denizens might be sympathetic to our cause. It would be beneficial to find allies who are dissatisfied with their current circumstances."

Kama, who had been listening quietly, chimed in, "I might be able to reach out to a few spirits. There are always those who suffer under oppressive regimes, and they might have valuable information. It's worth a shot."

Dr. Romani considered this for a moment. "We'll need to be cautious, especially if Kirschtaria has been able to establish strong defenses around the Lostbelt. If they suspect we're trying to gather intel, it could complicate our plans."

Koyanskaya, ever the strategist, added, "We should prepare for contingencies. What if we get discovered? We need to have a way out or a backup plan to regroup quickly."

"Agreed," Ritsuka said, feeling a sense of camaraderie and determination in the room. "We'll need to devise a solid plan for our reconnaissance mission. Let's brainstorm the logistics and decide who will go, what information we need, and how we'll approach this."

The atmosphere in the meeting room shifted as everyone began to strategize. Ideas flowed back and forth as they discussed potential routes, means of communication, and even ways to blend in with the denizens of the Lostbelt.

After a while, Kadoc cleared his throat, bringing attention back to him. "So we're all in agreement then? We'll move forward with reconnaissance. We need to gather intel, find out what Kirschtaria is really up to, and how we can intervene if necessary."

"Exactly," Ritsuka replied, a fire igniting within him. "We won't let them have the upper hand. We'll uncover the truth and be ready to act."

As they continued to flesh out their plan, Ritsuka felt a renewed sense of purpose. This mission wouldn't just be about discovering the secrets of the Norse Lostbelt; it would be a chance to protect not only their future but the future of humanity itself. Together, they would face the challenges ahead, united in their resolve to reclaim what was lost.

BB then came out of Ritsuka mind. "Why are we all so worried my dear Senpai is not a god killer and a god himself"

Ritsuka chuckles at that. "Thank BB, but your forgetting I maybe a dragon god, and I have God killing powers, I just got them I may have used them on the Kuravas and Karna but that was a different matter, plush training"

BB grinned mischievously, her usual playful tone laced with confidence. "Oh, come now, Senpai. You've taken down gods before, and whether it's through training or combat, it's all experience. Besides, even if you're just getting used to your dragon-god powers, you've proven time and time again that you're not to be underestimated."

Ritsuka chuckled but shook his head. "True, but even so, I can't rely on just that. Every fight is different, and these are actual gods, born from the myths and beliefs of their people. I've faced gods before, but they weren't exactly like this. The Norse gods are primal forces, and there's a lot we don't know about them."

Kama crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing. "Ritsuka's right. It's not just about being a god-killer. The Norse pantheon is deeply tied to destiny and fate, and they might even see us as part of some grand design. They have power beyond raw strength, and that could be dangerous."

Kadoc, still recovering from the earlier conversation, nodded in agreement. "And remember, Kirschtaria is leading them. He's no fool, and with gods like Odin and Thor on his side, we're going to be up against more than just brute force. They'll have strategy, and they'll know how to exploit our weaknesses."

Ritsuka sighed, running a hand through his long hair. "Exactly. I don't want to underestimate them. We need to be prepared, both physically and mentally."

BB winked at him, clearly unphased. "Well, Senpai, if anyone can handle this, it's you. You've got your harem of goddesses, dragon powers, and enough weapons in your arsenal to make even the strongest gods tremble. Just remember, you've got us with you."

Mash, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke up. "Ritsuka, whatever happens, we'll be by your side. We've faced impossible odds before, and we always find a way through. This will be no different."

Ritsuka smiled at her, feeling reassured by her words. "Thanks, Mash. I know I can count on you all. And we'll need that trust more than ever in the coming battles."

Da Vinci cleared her throat, bringing attention back to the matter at hand. "Right, then. While we're preparing to face the Norse Lostbelt, I'll start digging through the old myths. We'll need every bit of information we can find on the gods, their abilities, and any possible weaknesses."

"Good," Ritsuka said, feeling the weight of the challenge ahead. "And we'll need to work fast. Kirschtaria isn't going to sit back and wait for us to figure everything out. We need to stay ahead of him, or at least, keep up."

BB stretched and leaned against Ritsuka with a teasing smile. "Well, whatever happens, Senpai, you've got all of us at your disposal. Whether it's fighting gods or dancing around Lostbelt Kings, we're ready for anything."

Ritsuka smiled, his resolve strengthening. "Then let's make sure we're ready. We've faced the impossible before, and we'll do it again."

The group shared a quiet moment of understanding. The road ahead would be difficult, but they had each other, and that was more powerful than any single god. With their preparations underway, they were ready to face the Norse Lostbelt—and whatever challenges Kirschtaria had in store for them.
