Chapter 209: He... F'ed up? Part-1
"Yaaa"
Leo yawned with a tired expression in class, his head lying on the bench. The dull hum of the ceiling fan spun lazily above him, stirring the air that smelled faintly of chalk and sunlight.
Even though he had slept like a log last night, without a single dream or interruption, he still felt drained and heavy, as if sleep itself had done nothing to rest his mind. His thumb tingled with a faint itch, strange and persistent.
He rubbed his finger again with a slightly itchy sensation. There was no visible wound, no bite, no bruise—nothing at all. Yet the sensation lingered.
His brows creased as he rubbed it with a soft, puzzled expression, staring down at the thumb that refused to stop itching, wondering if it was his nerves or something else entirely.
Since the School Festival was approaching, the classes were no longer running as usual. The teachers were scattered around, busy with decorations, stalls, and preparations.
The campus buzzed with the noise of hammers, laughter, and shouted directions. So many things happening at once, games, rehearsals, food setups... and of course, the students had vanished to their clubs, their groups, their excitement.
Leo's class was empty except…
Leo slowly lowered his thumb that had been blocking the view of… Gorgon!
She sat beside him as if she owned the place, her chin resting on her folded arms over the desk, the faint smile on her lips far too calm for someone skipping work.
She had used her usual excuse—that she didn't bring her books—and lay on the bench like a lazy cat, her eyes fixed on him with that weird, gentle gleam that always made him uncomfortable.
Leo sighed and lazily looked at her. "Is there something on my face?" he asked, his tone carrying both fatigue and mild irritation.
Gorgon's lips curved as she tilted her head slightly, "Yes. Those beautiful eyes of yours." Her voice came out soft, teasing, with a glimmer of honesty hiding behind her smile.
"…" Leo went silent, staring blankly at her, trying to decide whether she was joking or not.
Finally, he let out a long breath. "Sigh… why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be in some kind of event? Go and train for it or something."
Gorgon raised one elegant eyebrow and smirked. "I could ask the same thing to you. Why are you here, Leo? Aren't you in some kind of game too?"
Leo rubbed his nose awkwardly, realising too late that he had invited that answer himself... He really shouldn't have talked to her.
He turned his head away from her face, gazing out the window. Outside, the courtyard was filled with laughter. Students laughed as they carried boxes, banners, and balloons, their voices echoing under the bright noon sun.
Leo watched them for a while, a faint hum escaping his lips, though his expression darkened slightly.
There was still no response from Valra, and as for Sakura… she hadn't answered his calls either. Once, twice, then blocked. And even today, nothing.
Not even a glimpse of her among her female crowds.
'Was she avoiding me?' he wondered. Somewhere deep in the corner of his mind, that thought felt heavy, like a whisper he didn't want to hear.
Maybe… just maybe, she broke up with him?
That would make sense. The logical conclusion after what happened that day.
But even if it was a breakup, she wasn't the kind of girl to just disappear without saying anything. No text, no explanation, no goodbye.
That wasn't her.
Wait… she had called him after that incident, hadn't she?
'Maybe that's why she called me that time. To tell me… that?' Leo thought, his chest tightening slightly, the disappointment mixing with a quiet fear he didn't want to admit.
His mind began to wander, thoughts spinning aimlessly between guilt, confusion, and the dull ache of uncertainty.
And then, suddenly, a soft touch broke his thoughts. Fingers brushed the back of his head, sliding gently through his hair.
Leo flinched, frowning. The sensation was warm, teasing... a little too familiar. He didn't even need to turn to know who it was.
It was definitely Gorgon.
"What are you doing?" He asked without turning back.
No answer came.
He frowned, tilting his head slightly. "Hey… I asked What are you doing?" Still nothing, and all of a sudden the hand stopped moving.
Something about that silence made the back of his neck prickle. He turned slowly, expecting some teasing grin, but instead… Gorgon sat there, motionless.
She was staring at him, her pupils slightly dilated, her lips parted as if she had forgotten how to breathe.
Her eyes looked wild, empty, and yet burning.
"Gorgon?"
Leo's tone dropped, a flicker of worry in his eyes. She didn't blink. Her gaze slid down to his throat, his shoulders, his chest, almost as if tracing him like prey.
Then she lifted the same hand that had ruffled his hair and brought it near her face. Her movements were slow, languid, sensual in a strange way. She sniffed softly, her voice curling like smoke.
"Sniffff…. You smell… like a woman?"
Leo stiffened. A jolt of confusion and unease struck through him. 'What the hell is she talking about?' He straightened up, his head snapping toward her.
Gorgon's eyes glimmered faintly. A crooked smile rose on her face, one that didn't reach her eyes.
"Where were you yesterday, Leo?" she whispered, voice barely above a breath.
Leo frowned, "What are you talking about? I have no obligatio—"
Before he could finish, Gorgon suddenly lunged forward. Their faces collided in proximity, her breath ghosting over his lips, warm and sweet, too close to breathe properly.
Her golden eyes locked onto his, and in them he saw something primal, something that wanted him...
"I've been with you, Leo…" she whispered, voice trembling like silk on glass. "I know your scent more than anyone… every little trace of it clings to me. But this…" she leaned even closer, inhaling him like perfume, her lashes fluttering, "this is not yours."
Leo's throat tightened. His pulse jumped. The warmth of her breath, the way her voice slid through his ears—something about it stirred both fear and a strange guilt.
'This girl… she's gone completely insane,' he thought, his hand twitching. 'Insane and terrifyingly close.'
He pushed her gently, trying to create space, his heart racing. "Girl, I have girlfriends. Of course, I might smell like them—"
Gorgon's fingers gripped the desk edge. Her smile vanished in an instant. Her gaze sharpened like a predator's. "No," she hissed softly. "It's not them."
Leo blinked. "What?"
"This smell… isn't Valra. Isn't Sakura." Her tone was too certain, too knowing.
Leo's eyes widened. 'What the hell? How does she even know their scent?' he thought in horror.
How did she even know the scent of his girlfriends?
He didn't remember ever telling her anything like that... Did he?
Wait, first of all, did he know his own girlfriends' smell?
NO!!
Wait… come to think of it, he did know the smell of Valra's ass—ugh! Leo immediately shook his head, trying to erase that thought. Yes, it smelled good, but still—why was he even thinking about that right now?
This wasn't the time.
And Sakura… well, he'd caught her scent a few times, soft and floral, but never close enough to memorise it.
Yet this girl knew them both?
A chill crawled down his spine.
"Oi… is something wrong with your head?" he muttered, voice uneasy.
Before he could react further, Gorgon moved. In one swift motion, she pushed him sideways, trapping him against the bench. Her hands pressed against the wood beside his shoulders, her body leaning close enough for him to feel the curve of her chest brushing his arm, her breath brushing his ear.
Her voice lowered into a trembling whisper. "Tell me… who was she?"
Leo's heartbeat thundered. He could see his reflection in her eyes.
"Was she more beautiful than me?"
He opened his mouth, but no sound came.
Her breath warmed his neck, slow and deliberate. "Was she hotter than me?"
Leo's lungs trembled as his back pressed against the bench.
"Was she more intelligent than me?" Her tone shifted, sharp and trembling with obsession.
And then, her lips hovered dangerously close to his skin, her voice dipping to a whisper that felt both seductive and venomous.
"Was she more mature than me, Leo?"
Leo's heart raced as she inched even closer, her gaze unwavering.
"Was she more rich than me?"
For each question, her face turned darker and darker as she closed the distance between them, inch by inch. Leo's breath hitched as her eyes glowed faintly, her voice twisting between jealousy and sweetness.
He was horrified, unable to move, watching her shadow swallow the light on her face. It felt like a scene from a horror movie—except this time, he was the one trapped inside it.
He never saw this coming… had he?
Thud!
"Leo~"
Leo flinched. His head snapped toward the door, and there stood Ophis, peeking through with a sly expression.
Before Leo could even react, Gorgon moved back in an instant, her face softening into an innocent, gentle smile. A blush spread across her cheeks as if she had been caught doing something shy and harmless.
Ophis blinked, surprise flickering in her eyes. From her view, it looked like that girl had been on Leo—close enough to touch, close enough to mean something—and the moment she appeared, that girl had moved away, flushed and shy.
Obviously, that happened… right?
A vein bulged on Ophis's forehead. "H.a.h.a… Asshole!" she hissed with a furious expression, stepping into the classroom.
The room itself was silent and empty except for the three of them.
Of course, something must have happened. The longer Ophis stood there, the angrier she became.
Leo blinked, confused by her reaction. 'What the hell now?' He gulped quietly. 'This girl's head… there's something really wrong with it. Really!'
He reached for his bag.
"You have some nerve—" Ophis started, her voice rising, but before she could finish, Leo suddenly grabbed her like a child and dashed toward the exit.
The speed caught her off guard completely.
Gorgon stood frozen for a moment, blinking in surprise. Then slowly, her lips curled into a smile.
"He's so cute~" she whispered, voice dripping with a dangerous sweetness. Her eyes trailed after him as something small slipped from his half-zipped bag... She bent down, picked it up carefully, and her smile deepened, sly and knowing.
Meanwhile, Ophis was biting into his hand as Leo sprinted through the hallway. "Let me go, you pervert!" she yelled, her voice echoing through the school corridor.
Ignoring the stares of a few distant students, Leo burst through the last door, climbing the narrow stairs until he reached the rooftop. He pushed open the door, panting lightly, and finally set Ophis down.
She glared at him, cheeks flushed from both anger and embarrassment.
Leo ran a hand through his hair and sighed, "It's not what you think, damn it. Believe me. She's the one who approached me. Nothing happened between us."
Ophis snorted, crossing her arms. "I can't believe I thought you were a gentleman, but all this time… Yuck." She turned her head as if disgusted, almost gagging at the thought.
Leo nudged his eyebrows and exhaled, muttering softly, "Shit…" His image in her mind—whatever was left of it—was sinking fast.
He took a deep breath and spoke again, his tone sincere. "Believe me. Nothing happened between us, and I promise you that."
Ophis stared at him for a long second, her eyes searching his face for even a flicker of deceit. Then, softly, she asked, "Can you promise me the same way… like nothing happened last night?"
Her question hit him deeper than he expected. The tone in her voice wasn't sharp or teasing—it was raw, almost pleading, like she was asking from somewhere inside her heart.
Leo flinched and looked away, unable to meet her eyes. For some reason, he couldn't promise.
Ophis's lips twitched slightly, her eyes dimming as a faint ache crossed her chest. She brushed it off with a shaky breath and forced a small smirk.
"So I guess… I believe you. For now."
Her tongue slid across her lips,
"Let me suck you now."
Leo blinked, "The hell? No way! We are in the middle of the school, and who knows who will see us!"
"Who cares about them!!" Ophis frowned, her voice rising as she stepped closer, "And you promised me you would let me suck you whenever and wherever I want! Now show it to me!!" she demanded, her tone furious yet trembling with excitement.
Leo gritted his teeth and glanced around in front just to be sure no one was nearby before muttering, "Fine!"
"Yaay~" Ophis instantly brightened, her whole face lighting up like a child given candy, though the glimmer in her eyes was anything but innocent.
Leo shook his head, a helpless sigh escaping him. This girl was seriously getting out of his hands these days. He bent slightly when he noticed something—his bag's zip was still open from when he'd escaped the classroom in a rush.
Zzzzppppp
He zipped it up, exhaled, and then unbuttoned the top of his shirt. Sitting down on the cold rooftop floor, he tilted his head aside, baring his neck. "Here."
Ophis blinked in surprise, tilting her head. "Oh? We're going straight to it?"
Leo gave a weak smile, his tone tired yet oddly calm. "I mean, in the end you were going to force me… so why not just get straight to the point?"
Ophis's lips curved slowly into a satisfied smile. "I like it… that's my servant."
"Oi?" he muttered flatly.
"Ha-ha, just kidding~" Ophis said with a teasing tone, though something in her eyes made it uncertain whether it really was a joke.
