Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor

Chapter 170: New City Construction Launch III

"Lord, perhaps... you should find a more professional horse trainer in the Border City? I... I'm not quite sure."

After speaking, he lowered his head even more, as if awaiting judgment.

Lawrence laughed.

"I thought it was something serious. Stand up."

Ward was stunned for a moment, then slowly got up. His knees were still trembling, and he did not dare to look directly into Lawrence's eyes.

"Your judgment is not wrong."

Lawrence looked intently at Ward,

"I trust you. If you say they are in heat, then they're in heat."

In the Breeding Lord's entry, there's an item for extending the estrus period, so Lawrence wasn't surprised at all.

But Ward didn't know.

At this moment, he stared in shock, his mouth slightly open, gazing directly at Lawrence.

The Lord actually trusts him, a rural horse trainer, so much?

"Lord..."

Ward became a little nervous, kneeling once again before Lawrence, "Thank you for your trust!"

Lawrence stood up and walked slowly to his side, patting his shoulder.

"Have some confidence in yourself, Ward."

"Yes, my Lord."

"Get up and come with me to the stable."

Lawrence pulled Ward up, "Just yesterday, I got a new warhorse. Come and have a look."

Saying so, Lawrence walked out of the hall, and Ward quickly followed.

The stable in the manor wasn't big, with only four warhorses.

Ward immediately spotted Night Fury, standing there dumbfounded, his arm trembling as he pointed,

"This is... a warhorse from the Mosar Plateau?!"

"You have a good eye."

Lawrence nodded.

"Can I touch it?" Ward looked at Lawrence with eager anticipation.

"If Night Fury lets you touch it, then go ahead." Lawrence said casually.

"Thank you for your generosity!"

Ward cautiously approached and reached out to touch the horse's neck, but a low snort from the horse made him retract his hand.

Ward smiled awkwardly, "Perhaps another time."

Ward circled around Night Fury, "Truly an excellent horse..."

"Lord, the horses from the Mosar Plateau are notoriously fierce and not easy to tame..."

Before he could finish, Lawrence raised his hand to interrupt, speaking in a calm tone,

"It's already been tamed."

"Ah..."

Ward swallowed his saliva, his gaze filled with a bit more reverence.

Wasn't the warhorse just acquired yesterday?

And it's already tamed today?

No, he had come as soon as he received the news today.

Doesn't that mean it was tamed yesterday?

"Lord, your capabilities... truly are beyond ordinary people."

Ward's words were heartfelt, with a touch of flattery, but were sincere.

Lawrence ignored Ward's praise and looked at Night Fury,

"Since those mares are in heat, let's arrange for them to be with Night Fury."

"But before that, your primary task is to understand Night Fury's habits and preferences, and then personally take care of it."

He paused, fixing his gaze on Ward, "And then lead it to breed with those mares."

Ward's eyes lit up,

"Understood, Lord!"

Ward couldn't hide his excitement.

Serving a Mosar Plateau warhorse is a dream for every horse trainer, let alone breeding one.

Ward no longer cared if it was normal for mares to be in heat during winter; he just wanted to quickly bring those mares to Night Fury.

"Night Fury's habits were passed down from the previous coachman, have Lawrence take you to find him later."

Lawrence instructed, "Remember, we only have this one Mosar warhorse in our territory. If anything happens to it, consider your head as good as gone."

"Rest assured, lord, if it has any problems, I will bury myself with it!"

Ward loudly promised.

"Very good."

Lawrence patted Ward on the shoulder, "After you finish this task, I'll have Lawrence find you a woman, so you can settle down in Frost Leaf Town."

Ward's face lit up with joy, knowing Lawrence intended to make him a commoner, and he immediately knelt again,

"Thank you for your generosity!"

...

...

Inside the cave of the Blade Mountain Range.

The leader of the Eagle Feather Tribe offered a wooden bowl filled with dried fruits to Prophet Bai Shuang.

"Honorable prophet, please enjoy."

The Eagle Feather Leader had a fawning smile, his attitude extremely respectful.

Prophet Bai Shuang merely glanced at the dried fruits, then retracted his gaze,

"I'm not interested in these meager food items. The Holy Land has plenty; you can keep these for yourself."

Prophet Bai Shuang spoke with a hint of arrogance, "What have you considered about submitting to the Saint Master?"

The Eagle Feather Leader hesitated, cautiously asking, "This... Honorable prophet, does submitting to the Saint Master really mean disbanding our tribe?"

As his words fell, Prophet Bai Shuang stood abruptly,

"Since the Eagle Feather Tribe refuses the Saint Master, we shall leave!"

"Eh? Eh!"

The Eagle Feather Leader was stunned for a moment, then panicked,

"I didn't mean it that way, Prophet!"

"Is submitting to the Saint Master something to haggle over?"

Prophet Bai Shuang turned back, his sharp eyes fixing on the Eagle Feather Leader, "Do you expect the great Saint Master to compromise with your little tribe?"

"No, no, honorable prophet, I didn't mean to offend the Saint Master!"

The Eagle Feather Leader was visibly nervous, "Our Eagle Feather Tribe is willing to submit to the Saint Master!"

"Now that's better."

Prophet Bai Shuang nodded slightly, sitting down again,

"Do you still have the Beast Spirit Inheritance Treasure Pearl of the Eagle Feather Tribe?"
