Chapter 496: Teach You How to Do the Exercise
"Those are top-secret, non-shareable files. I'll find a spot later to demonstrate for you. Not only can it help you lose weight, but it also reduces trapezius muscles and prevents anterior pelvic tilt." Han Qiwu smiled as he replied.
"Hmph! I don't have anterior pelvic tilt." Tang Qingying shifted her posture, deliberately straightening her back to show Han Qiwu.
Her upright back formed a graceful curve, firmly capturing Han Qiwu's gaze.
It was simply stunning.
"I know, I know, that's why I'm talking about prevention." Han Qiwu added.
After chatting for a few more minutes, Guo Fugui glanced at how naturally Han Qiwu and Tang Qingying were talking and joking, then suggested with a smile, "It's getting late, let's head back and rest."
"Alright, alright. Coincidentally, I've got some work to handle at the office. You two can grab a cab yourselves; we won't be seeing you off. The bill's already settled." Ding Xuebo tactfully stood up, speaking briskly, and within seconds, the two of them opened the door and left the room.
In the blink of an eye, the spacious private room was left with Han Qiwu and Tang Qingying alone.
The atmosphere began to heat up...
Han Qiwu looked at Tang Qingying, whose cheeks were faintly red. Scanning the private room, he took the initiative to suggest, "This space is quite roomy. How about I teach you here?"
"Sure, let me show you what the plaza dance king looks like 50 years from now!" Tang Qingying stood up, tied her hair into a ponytail, and straightened her stance, facing Han Qiwu.
Han Qiwu chuckled, "That impressive? Why don't you follow along for now? Let's skip recording for now, and if you forget any moves later, I'll go over them with you."
"Sounds good." Tang Qingying, at this moment, was completely unaware of what awaited her.
To accommodate Tang Qingying, Han Qiwu specifically chose a slightly easier routine he'd practiced before, "Soaring Eagle Taking Flight," and started teaching her.
Half an hour later.
"No, no, I need a break."
Tang Qingying, her cheeks flushed, sat down in the chair, adamant about not getting back up.
What kind of fitness routine was this? It was way too exhausting.
"How about I take you back to the institute?" Han Qiwu proposed. The strong smell of food in the private room made staying there increasingly uncomfortable.
Tang Qingying stood up and tidied her clothes, "Sure, I can go over the key points for the midterm review with you. Did you bring your thesis?"
"Ahem, I didn't exactly plan to come over today while I was fishing, so no, I didn't bring it." Han Qiwu spread his hands, a helpless expression on his face.
Tang Qingying crossed her arms and smiled while circling Han Qiwu, suddenly lowering her head and leaning close to his ear, whispering, "Xiao Han, you didn't write it, did you?"
"Stop blurting out the truth!" Han Qiwu quickly waved his hands, only to realize he seemed a bit too relaxed, unintentionally letting slip what he was thinking.
"You really didn't write it!" Tang Qingying puffed up her cheeks angrily, forcefully reaching out as if to grab Han Qiwu's ear.
"No, no, no, I was joking! It's written, I swear. Let's head out first. The sun's so bright; I'll call for a car. And you can't just go grabbing ears, alright?" Han Qiwu intercepted Tang Qingying's soft arm, reversing her hold as he led her out of the private room.
Tang Qingying instinctively resisted at first but stopped when she noticed the service staff and the manager passing by.
She couldn't let Han Qiwu lose face in front of strangers.
With this simple thought in mind, Tang Qingying's fair hand turned rosy red in Han Qiwu's grip.
It was warm and sweaty.
Han Qiwu felt as though his heart was about to leap out of his chest.
The manager of Zuixiang Pavilion approached, handing over a business card with both hands, smiling as he said, "Mr. Han, here's my card. I look forward to your next visit."
"Thanks." Han Qiwu forced a smile, uttering only two words before accepting the card and continuing to lead Tang Qingying outside.
Once outside Zuixiang Pavilion, Tang Qingying finally seemed to return to her senses. She struggled to pull her hand away with force.
It wouldn't budge.
Tang Qingying asked weakly, "How long are you planning to hold it?"
"Not going to pull my ears anymore?" Han Qiwu asked.
"I won't." Tang Qingying huffed, "You've got guts, Han Qiwu, daring to hold my hand like this. Spill it—why are you so practiced at it!"
"Back in the village, I used to help hold down pig hooves for slaughter. It feels about the same." Han Qiwu grinned as he finally released her hand.
"You're the pig hoof!" Tang Qingying raised her arm to flag down a taxi.
Han Qiwu stepped forward to open the door for her. "Mr. Tang, this is your pig-hoof-certified car-door opening service. Please leave a rating."
Tang Qingying smugly nodded, "Five stars, five stars. Ready to be cooked!"
Han Qiwu followed her into the car, saying, "Alright, the next service—stewing myself in an iron pot."
"Hahaha!" Tang Qingying felt she hadn't laughed so freely in ages.
After exiting the car, Tang Qingying volunteered, "Let's go. I'm in a single-person dorm now."
"Okay." Han Qiwu, not at all shy, followed behind her inside.
In the elevator, they ran into one of Tang Qingying's colleagues. Upon seeing the two of them together, the colleague remarked with a smile, "Tang Qingying, bringing a young handsome guy back now? What about the cakes you promised to bring us?"
Tang Qingying spread her hands helplessly, "I only brought him to work on his thesis. We just had dinner earlier, so I didn't have time to shop. Next time, for sure."
"Alright, alright, I won't disturb you then. Young man, be good to our Tang Qingying!" Saying that, she stepped off the elevator to head into work.
"Did they already know about me?" Han Qiwu asked curiously. "What did you tell them about me?"
"I just said you're so dense, no matter how I teach you, you can't get it, so you have to bring me treats as compensation." Tang Qingying beamed with pride, her ponytail swaying.
After entering her room, Han Qiwu glanced around and discovered that Tang Qingying's living space was quite minimalistic. There wasn't much furniture, and the two-bedroom unit felt noticeably empty.
"This smells incredible!" Tang Qingying exclaimed as she caught the fragrance of the large white apricots upon entering. She rushed over.
"Then eat some." Han Qiwu picked up a white apricot and went to the kitchen to rinse it.
Tang Qingying took a big bite of the apricot and immediately her eyes curved into crescents.
"Delicious!"
The flavor was fragrant, sweet, and utterly delectable.
"Glad you like it. I'll bring more next time." Han Qiwu walked to Tang Qingying's bookshelf and began straightening it up for her.
After finishing the apricot, Tang Qingying seemed to regain her energy. She opened her laptop and started explaining to Han Qiwu.
More than an hour later, she finally wrapped up the session, stretching her neck, which emitted audible clicking sounds.
Han Qiwu frowned and got up, asking, "Want me to massage your shoulders? Your neck's making a lot of noise."
"Yes, please!" Tang Qingying immediately nodded. "The owner of the massage shop I used to go to went back to her hometown, and I haven't had my shoulders done in a while."
Han Qiwu had her lie down on the bed first. He then warmed a towel with hot water and placed it on her shoulders, starting to massage her.
This skill was something he learned during a volunteer project in undergrad, where he assisted a visually impaired uncle. Though out of practice, his technique was still accurate.
"That's so good, Master Han. How many years in the trade?"
"That's classified. Those who know, know."
"Huh?????"
