The monthly test came up and I did it. I hope I pass. Everything has been bad since Dave stopped talking to me. I'm in love with him and he doesn't even care. He now avoids me like a plauge.

Hey Karen, Michelle called me.

Michelle,I smiled. At least she's there to keep me happy.

Karen,the school prom is coming up next week. Everyone is talking about it.

Yeah,I replied her. I heard about it. I'm not going.

Fine,I laughed at her puppy eyes. I'll come.

Yay,she jumped like a baby who just got a candy. I couldn't focus because Jade is always around him. He talks to her but not me. How sad.

School ended and we left. Again,I sat in the passenger's seat. He doesn't even seem to care. We got home and I went inside. I'm going out with Michelle to shop for dresses to wear to the prom party. I took a shower and ate lunch.My parents ain't back yet. I headed to Michelle's house. I didn't bother to tell Dave. Does he even care.

This dress is perfect. I will take this one. It's a red gown. It's slitted and exposes ones back . I must look pretty. We went to a restaurant to have fun. We spent the whole evening there. There's no use going home.

I came downstairs. The house is quite empty. I went back and knocked Karen's door. No answer. I opened it. It's empty. She went out without telling me. This is past eight'oclock and it's raining.

Let's leave. I'll drop you off.

I ran inside the rain trying to look for shelter until I finally saw one. I tried to get a signal in order to call John.

Damn,so how am I supposed to get home. I noticed two men standing beside me.

I didn't answer instead I walked backwards.

I just wanna help,he insisted. He walked closer to me.

I walked backwards and caught a glimpse of a gun. My eyes widened. I didn't know when my legs started to run. Carrying far as it could.

Catch her,the first guy shouted and they started running after me.

I traced the GPS tracker on Karen's phone to a restaurant but she ain't inside. I looked around.

I ran until I became tired. I slipped and broke my ankle.

Boss she's here. They came towards me.

Well.Well. You could have made it easier for you and I. Anyways you'll make a good pay.

Tie her up. The other guy came closer to me with a rope in his hands. He gagged my mouth first,then tied me. He carried me and they headed towards a car. They put me in the trunk and closed it.

Hey,I shouted. Open that trunk. I finally found her.

Little boy,why don't you mind your business and we all leave in peace.

Not until you open that trunk.

Little boy,the hard way right. He came towards me and ran a fist in my face. It's too fast I couldn't dodge it. Blood came out of my nose. The fight begun. He punched me but I dodge it and gave him a punch. I twisted his hands and he kicked me in my gut. The second guy joined us. He made a move to hit me with a metal but I dodge it, swiftly collecting the metal and smashing it on his head.

The other guy is really tough. He bought our his gun. You deserve to die. I didn't but you force me to. I stood still, calculating my next move. I kicked the gun with my leg as he pulled the trigger. He ran for the gun and I hit him with the metal. He fainted.

I took the car keys from his pocket and opened the trunk.

I'm so relieved seeing Dave. He untied me and called the police to arrest the criminals. He carried me to the car and putted me inside.

He drove. I couldn't help but to stare at him. His nose is bleeding and he's wet.

We got home and I went upstairs to change my clothes. I came downstairs wearing a robe. He already changed. I sat on the couch wrapping myself with the duvet he brought for me.

Why did you leave the house without telling me.

I'm sorry, that's the only word in my mouth.

What if those guys kidnappee you. Who do you think will take the blame.

He sat down beside me. I'm not angry but don't try it again. Okay.

I nodded in agreement staring at his handsome face. I admit it,he's my crush. Everything about him is just so perfect. I can't control myself around him. I kissed him. His lips are so good and sweet. He kissed me back entangling each other lips. I can feel sparks igniting from my body. I slid my hands inside his robe, feeling his chest,packs and muscles. I felt him pulling away from me.

Karen,why did you kiss me,he asked.

But you kissed me back,can't you just see I want you. I can't believe I just said that.

Karen,stop all this thinking. Just stop. He stood up and left leaving me alone.

I cried. I feel used right now. Why doesn't he like me.

The prom party came in no time. I stared at myself in the mirror.

Karen,you look gorgeous. I complimented myself. I went downstairs and John drove me to school. Dave already left. I sighed in sadness.

Omg, Michelle screamed. You look gorgeous. I'm sure you'll win that award.

Everyone looks splendid. I saw Dave. He looks like a demi-god. Jade is also in the party. I stared at her with hatred eyes. How dare she. She's wearing a long silver gown which exposed her boobs,waist and back. She's just a slut. The party started. Everyone grabbed their dates and danced.

Even Michelle has a date. I sighed in sadness.

At least he's not dancing with Jade. I tried to avoid alcohol as possible. We stole glances from each other.

Karen,I scolded myself,take your mind off him and have fun. I danced with a guy in my class. I'm having fun. The party is filled with fun and laughter. I forgot all my sadness.

"Attention everyone. It's time to pick the best dressed male and female"

Everyone clapped. Three male and three females were picked. I'm among them. Dave is also among the males.

Everyone voted and I won. Dave won for the males.

They handed the award to us and everyone clapped. We took pictures. I got down and saw Jade staring at me with jealousy eyes. In her face.

I drank little amount of alcohol. I don't wanna go gaga.

I watched Karen every step. I can't believe she's drinking alcohol after her last experience. Jade came towards me and kissed my lips.

What was that for,I asked angrily. Why will you kiss me in public.

Babe,why are making it a big deal. She tried to touch me but I shoved her hands off me.

I caught Jade kissing Dave. How dare she. I drank my alcohol and went to get more. I drank until I was drunk.

Karen, Michelle came towards me. I cant really see her but I recognize her voice. My eyes are quite blurry. You're drinking too much. You'll hurt yourself.

She collect the bottle from me. It's late already. I'll take you home.

No,I argued. I want to die here. Don't take me home.

Oh common,she called her personal bouncer to carry me inside her car.
