Extra's Death: I Am the Son of Hades

Neo's eyes moved to the three Demons standing behind Kevin.

He studied them for a moment.

He wanted to test his theory on them.

To see if he could remove their Authority.

But he knew a problem stood in his way.

If a Golden Domain was the foundation for all Authorities, then the Current Cosmos had countless Golden Domains.

He couldn't break them all. Not yet.

So he needed another way to limit the Demons in front of him.

Neo exhaled once, and his energy began to spread out.

It moved like a huge wave, rolling in all directions.

Kevin stepped in to stop him.

Neo pushed him back without effort, using the same time seal that had once trapped him.

Kevin froze in place.

But the three Demons still moved.

The greatsword Demon struck at the empty space around Kevin, and the spell holding Kevin cracked and shattered.

The fight continued to escalate.

Kevin grew more desperate with every clash, swinging harder and faster.

Neo ignored him and kept pushing his energy outward.

His energy reached the border of the Golden Domain.

Kevin's eyes widened as Neo summoned hundreds of thousands of Black Suns near the edge.

"You… what are you doing?" Kevin asked.

"Destroying the Golden Domain," Neo said.

"You can't. You're only Stage 6," Kevin muttered.

"We'll see."

Neo kept summoning more Black Suns.

Each one held enough power to damage a large part of the Golden Domain.

With hundreds of thousands exploding, cracks formed across the boundary.

Turbulent energy leaked into the Golden Domain like air rushing through a broken wall.

Kevin's expression grew tense.

Neo didn't stop.

The boundary of the Golden Domain shattered with a cataclysmic explosion.

Chaos energy surged into the empty space left behind, rushing in like a storm.

Neo turned to the Demons.

'They can still use their Authority.'

'Even without this Golden Domain, the other Golden Domains must still be supporting them.'

He already knew there were infinite universes.

Each one had its own Golden Domain.

They were once one, so they could still support the Demons' Authority together.

'But if I limit their Authority to only this destroyed Golden Domain… then it won't have anything solid to stand on.'

Before the Chaos energy filled the entire vacuum, Neo moved again.

His energy spread farther, and he created an Independent Space.

It was even larger than the Golden Domain that had just been destroyed.

Kevin froze again, but this time in shock.

Even a tiny Independent Space would exhaust a Stage 6 God.

Yet Neo had created one the size of a domain.

And worse, Neo looked calm.

There was no strain on his face.

Either he hid his exhaustion well, or… he wasn't tired at all.

Kevin's expression changed.

He prepared to use self-destructive techniques, ready to burn everything for more power.

But before he could finish, the Demons' Authorities began to glitch.

One moment, their greatsword Authority worked normally.

The next moment, it surged out of control like something was wrong.

"So it can stop the Authorities halfway but not completely," Neo muttered.

"What did you do?" Kevin asked, tension growing in his voice.

"I created an Independent Space.

"Since there is only one Golden Domain inside it, their Authorities must use that as their base. And I already destroyed it, so their foundation is gone."

He paused for a second.

"Or that's how it should work. But they can still activate it a little, so I guess they're still able to connect to Golden Domains from other universes somewhat."

Kevin stared at him, stunned.

He… blocked the Authority of a Demon?

That should not have been possible.

These Authorities were granted by the Celestial Worthy.

A Stage 6 God wasn't supposed to affect them like this.

Kevin clenched his teeth and activated a self-destructive technique, boosting himself dozens of times.

Neo didn't even move.

He sealed Kevin in time again and reversed the effect instantly.

The Demons tried to save Kevin, but with their Authorities glitching, they failed.

Neo stepped forward.

"Don't worry about Vivienne. I'm not going to harm her. So sit down now, Kevin. I won't spare you again."

Kevin couldn't resist.

Neo pulled him into his Cosmos, along with the greatsword Demon and the halberd Demon.

Only Severant remained outside.

Neo didn't speak right away.

He first turned to the Supreme Leader of the Alliance.

The man barely reacted as Neo's power wrapped around him.

Neo devoured him in one move.

The Supreme Leader couldn't resist at all.

His memories flowed into Neo like a river.

But the same problem appeared again.

Neo still couldn't see or hear the person who had fed information about him to the Alliance.

The memories skipped over that part as if someone had cut the scenes out.

'I want to chase that guy, whoever he is, but it feels like a dead end.'

'Sigh, I should first revive everyone.'

To revive everyone, Neo would have to reverse time for the entire universe.

The Gods of the Shattered Horizon — the area beyond the Golden Domain — would probably resist him, but with his current energy, Neo felt he could handle the entire universe.

"Should I take out the people I put in my Cosmos?" Neo muttered.

If he reversed time now, a paradox would form.

The people who were already inside his Cosmos would be brought back in the Golden Domain when time turned back.

That meant every person would exist in two places.

Inside his Cosmos and in the Golden Domain.

Two version of them would appear.

Normally this wouldn't be a big issue.

However, only one Life Flames existed for everyone.

So while two versions of everyone would exist, there would be one Life Flame for them.

This paradox would destabilize the universe.

The universe was already weak after splitting into infinite universes.

Then Neo destroyed its Golden Domain.

It wouldn't survive another blow like this.

"I put everyone in my Cosmos to keep them safe from the collateral damage, but it should be fine if I take them out now."

Before doing that, Neo turned to Severant.

"So? Why did you tell Kevin to summon Eternals?"
