Exploring Immortality Cultivation

Chapter 103: This Galaxy, Silent and Still

Endless, with no limitations.

For life beings, Bloodline Spirit Rhinoceros is the source of life. Yet isn't Bloodline Spirit Rhinoceros also a limitation?

Bloodline Spirit Rhinoceros grants life beings "birth," but it also brings "aging" and "death." Lifespan is the greatest limitation a life being must face.

Apart from the Sea God Type, those Innate Saints born with longevity, the cultivation of the vast majority of life beings is a process of freeing themselves from this bloodline constraint. And the path for Shenzhou creatures is to build a new physiological system with Spiritual Energy, to shed the physical body, and thus, break free from the constraints of bloodline.

But are the constraints of bloodline on life beings limited only to their lifespan?

Take Earth People for example. After the spark of wisdom ignited the flame of science, the pace of civilization's progress and the speed of productivity's development quickly left genetic mutation and Survival of the Fittest far behind. Due to increasingly abundant material production, some began to exhibit symptoms of overnutrition.

This is because Earth People still follow the dietary habits of ancestors from a hundred thousand years ago, with a strong craving for sugar, fats, and protein, even though modern people have much lower difficulty in acquiring these nutrients.

This is proof of the constraints of bloodline!

Beyond that, bloodlines also limit the size and capabilities of organisms… because that body is the result of nature's billion-year selection, a relatively reasonable and economical body in a certain environment.

But what if the environment of this creature changed?

For instance… What if it built a Spiritual Energy System, opened its Spirit Sense, and greatly reduced the difficulty of obtaining food?

In that case, the body molded for an "Unopened Spirit" becomes a huge constraint.

For the Dragon Clan, this problem also exists. It's just that, their constraint is something common life beings cannot even grasp.

And the real significance of Transformation for the Dragon Clan lies in completely breaking free from physiological limitations!

A colossal stature? Invincible vision power? A Vajra indestructible body? Or a celestial body?

It doesn't matter!

Wang Qi could imagine that the Shenzhou Dragon Clan could cosplay as the Star Insect Clan without any pressure at all.

Because what also only restrains the breeding speed of a life being, is bloodline! As long as Yue Luo Liu Li is willing, she could transform into the Blade Queen with no issues.

Whether it's in terms of strength or reproductive capacity.

Of course, under normal circumstances, no member of the Dragon Clan would do such a thing. They carefully maintain their own civilization, not allowing it to collapse. Such an act of breaking the balance of population would not be approved by the Dragon Clan.

No, that's not right…

Wang Qi suddenly thought of another use for Transformation Divine Power.

Transformation Divine Power can also differentiate one's cells into microorganisms that can exist independently.

Yes, that's a different direction.

The Dragon Clan could also disperse themselves, becoming a swarm of life beings.

"Sea God Type… if they were to transform into something like Senior Sister Mi's Body…"

Turning oneself into a calculator-like brain!

Not a Jarvis sort, but a real second brain.

A second brain that could envelope a planet.

This… the Dragon Clan really can do anything!

They are simply the ultimate life form acquired later in life!

Wang Qi murmured, which greatly surprised Feng Luoyi. But soon, he too thought of this.

According to the Taiji Yin Yang Strategy, the Dragon Clan are the Yang Strategy of Taiji; while the Sea God Type, are the Yin Strategy of Taiji.

If these two were to unite…

The Sea God Type could obtain a physical body suitable for individual combat and a relatively stable personality; the Dragon Clan could acquire the terrifying mana total and powerful thinking ability of the Sea God Type.

However, harmonizing these two systems would likely require the inclusion of some part of the Human Clan.

The civilization system of the Human Clan, Innate Spiritual Wisdom, stabilizing personality! The individual combat power of the Dragon Clan! The Innate Saint nature of the Sea God Type, ocean-like mana, free from Knowledge Barriers!

If they later encounter an Alien Star Race that surprises all three clans, they could also be integrated…

An endless and bright future.

However, before that, there's still one issue to be resolved.

Otherwise, this advantage is not yet something Earth People can assimilate, even though it's a seed for the future.

Feng Luoyi solemnly asked Yue Luo Liu Li, "Do all the Dragon Clan and all the Demon Clan in this Sun System view this issue in the same way?"

Wang Qi questioned, "Why do we have to consider the Demon Clan's stance when we handle matters?"

And Yue Luo Liu Li had a look as if she'd seen a ghost, "You… you know everything? How is that possible?"

Wang Qi blinked, looking towards Feng Luoyi, "Teacher, know what?"

Feng Luoyi's gaze fell upon the ring on Wang Qi's finger, "The upcoming matter is an absolute secret of the Immortal Alliance, understood?"

Wang Qi took a deep breath, then pulled off the ring from his hand and threw it far away, setting up a layer of defense with the "Heart Demon Curse," "Understood."

Feng Luoyi called up several sets of images within the illusion. Then, pointing at the first set, he said, "These few are scenes from Mercury."

Mercury, also known as the Star, is the innermost and closest celestial body to the Sun in the Shenzhou Solar System. Then, Wang Qi saw...

"Three-legged Golden Crow!?"

"The Renewal Royal Family, the Three-legged Golden Crow," emphasized Feng Luoyi. "They are all in deep slumber, just in a light one."

Wang Qi blinked his eyes, "Teacher... from what you're saying... our Shenzhou Solar System's nine planets, asteroid belt... couldn't possibly..."

"Next is Venus," Feng Luoyi said as he brought up another set of images. "Insect demons and Gu demons are all found here."

Wang Qi looked and realized that this set of images had very low visibility, with countless enormous demon insects sleeping. Spiders and centipedes, although of the benign kind, were among many others that made Wang Qi's scalp tingle.

And these bugs were hundreds of times larger than their counterparts on Earth.

"Venus has high pressure and a toxic atmosphere, which for them is both slumber and cultivation," explained Feng Luoyi, before pointing to another set of images.

Mars, known as Yinghuo, had several giant pyramids on it, obviously the product of the Renewal Demon Clan. Atop these towers, each worshipped a sleeping giant demon.

"The Renewal Demon Clan is part of Divine Tao Civilization, so they need these peak saints as hubs to sustain the Divine Tao System," Feng Luoyi explained. "The three headed giants at the forefront - Western Spirit Lord, Southern King, Northern Protector... roughly called that, right? They are the highest demon gods beside Donghuang."

Little Dragon was speechless by now.

Besides the sleeping heads of the Renewal Demon Clan, Yinghuo also had demon-transformed spirit plants – this was because the soil of Yinghuo was the closest to Shenzhou Hou Tu.

Next, the asteroid belt.

Located between Yinghuo and Taisui's orbit, the belt roughly contains seven hundred thousand small celestial bodies.

Of these, over two hundred thousand are demon clans' original forms, ice-sealed in solid ice.

In the images provided by Feng Luoyi, Wang Qi saw a slumbering creature within each piece of icy celestial body. Within the chunks of ice, Spirit Element flowed covertly to protect the lives of these demon clans.

"This part consists of those who have not become undying; they can only sleep in this extreme manner," Feng Luoyi looked again at Little Dragon Girl's expression, noting that her jaw had dropped beyond the human limit.

Then, Jupiter followed, known as Taisui. On Jupiter's ring lived the young dragons with a lifespan of less than three thousand years, still amassing strength in the Transformation Stage. Feng Luoyi provided a few peculiar images depicted through shockwaves and invisible light.

"Dragons... Dragons!? Dragons!" Wang Qi cried out in shock, "Are these all dragons?"

On those images, there were figures of dragons.

Wang Qi estimated that these giant dragons were over a thousand li long.

"Although the interior of Jupiter is tumultuous, the temperature isn't low. As such, the reptilian types that favor warmth sleep here. There are also some Sea Demon Clan and other giant demons."

The Star Ring serves as the hub for the Sea Demon Clan with unparalleled talents and aptitudes in the last million years. The dragons had compassion for their potential and provided them with opportunities to leave Shenzhou for development.

And inside the Star Ring...

"There lies the Primordial Demon Emperor..." Suddenly, Little Dragon felt like giving up resisting and explained cooperatively, "The Primordial Demon Clan is not as stable and reliable as the Renewal Demon Clan, and they are older, requiring colder places to slumber."

Feng Luoyi inquired, "Among these demon clans, those with lower cultivation are ice-sealed in Sui Star's satellites, right?"

Little Dragon nodded weakly.

"After the Star Ring comes Ling Xiao," Feng Luoyi continued. "This place is home to some big fellas."

The primary components of Ling Xiao's atmosphere are hydrogen and helium, and it also contains a higher proportion of "ice" made from water, ammonia, methane, in addition to detectable hydrocarbons. Ling Xiao is the coldest atmospheric planet within the Solar System.

Thus, it imprisons a group of great cultivators from the Primordial Demon Clan.

In the images from Feng Luoyi, Wang Qi saw distinct shadows.

The planets following Ling Xiao are referred to as Sea Dragons by humans, while Yue Luo Li calls them "Forbidden Gods."

Encased in ice within are the unrestrained rebels from the Dragon Clan.

There aren't many dragons inside, only a few. Most of the dragon's bodies are only hundred li-sized.

But one of them required several coils to fit inside this tiny planet — no, rather, this giant dragon is the actual entity of the planet Sea Dragon.

The outermost planet is called "Fengdu" by humans, and "Demon Prison" by the Dragon Clan.

Yue Luo Li advised, "You all must be very careful. This fellow, known as the Demon Emperor, is one of the culprits behind the collapse of the Primordial Demon Clan civilization. The Holy Emperor and Demon Emperor joined hands to use great power to seal it. Yet even so, its consciousness frequently awakens, teaching the Shenzhou creatures the Demon Path teachings, in hopes of unsealing itself."

Wang Qi was astonished, "How many astronomical units is that?"

"For immortals, such a distance is not insurmountable," Feng Luoyi explained, then asked, "Why don't you just kill it?"

Yue Luo Li said, "The Holy Emperor sees it as valuable research material."

Feng Luoyi looked at Yue Luo Li, "There's also 'Su Jin Comet'... I don't know what your dragon clan calls it, but it's the one that seals a powerful fire attribute demon god, crossing with Shenzhou Hou Tu once every hundred years. Do you need me to bring up images for you to see?"

Yue Luo Li sighed, "No need..."

Then Wang Qi exclaimed in wonder, "Is there any place in this Solar System that remains untouched?"

Every inch of this planetary system sealed individuals from failed civilizations. They relinquished Shenzhou as they awaited.

They awaited a successor who could lead them out. (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to cast your recommendation votes and monthly tickets at Qidian. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read on m.qidian.com.)
