Meanwhile, similar to the manager, Yeon, Yura, and Sharon, all of them were shocked when they heard that Alan said that he was Anna Krex's big brother and Newland Krex's cousin.

I knew you were lying to us when you said you were an orphan! I must say, I didn't expect that you would actually come from a top-ranking family, I originally thought that you came from a middle-ranking family, just like me and Sharon! However, why is your surname Leon and not Krex? Or were you lying to me about your surname being Leon, when in actuality, it is Krex?"

Upon speaking up to here, Yura crossed her arms, then said coquettishly while tilting her head to the side so that she could look straight into Alan's eyes, "Tell me now, and do not lie to me this time round!"

Although Sharon was remaining silent, mainly due to Yura having snatched her chance to be able to speak first, but when looking at the look of curiosity on Sharon's face, it was evident that she was very curious about what Yura asked to Alan.

Faced with Yura's questioning, Alan shook his head helplessly as he took another bite of the roasted duck on his plate, then turned around to look at Yura, "Didn't I already tell you? In actuality, Alan was purposely making use of his identity as Anna Krex's stepbrother to make everyone think that he possesses a strong background, which was why he purposely left out the fact that he was Anna Krex's stepbrother, and instead said that he was Anna Krex's big brother. After all, there was a huge difference between being Anna Krex's stepbrother, and being Anna Krex's big brother.

And evidently, looking at everyone's reaction, he was indeed successful in making everyone think that he possesses a strong background.

As for what would Alan do if his lies were to be found out?

Firstly, Alan was sure that Newland Krex would come over to the private room to greet him once the manager told him that he was here at his restaurant.

After all, from the previous host's memories, Newland Krex did appear a few times in the previous host's memories, and Alan was able to come to the conclusion that Newland Krex was the kind of person that would treat everyone nicely, even if it was a person who was his enemy or a person who he dislikes.

To put it shortly, Newland Krex was basically a wolf in sheep's clothing. Thus, even if Alan was indeed playing around with words and making it seem that Newland Krex was actually his cousin, Newland Krex wouldn't take it to mind and would actually greet and treat Alan warmly as if Alan was really his cousin, at least, for the time being.

After all, no matter what, it was still a fact that Alan was Anna Krex's stepbrother, and also, Anna Krex was Noland Krex's daughter.

Before Newland Krex finds out and confirmed both Anna Krex and Noland Krex's attitude toward Alan, Newland Krex wouldn't do anything to offend Alan.
