Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong

Chapter 1353: Variables and the Army at the Gates (Part 2)

"It's the Tier 6 expert of the Dragonborn exerting their power!"

Broy widened his eyes and exclaimed in astonishment: "It seems no one can prevent the breakout of the Dragonborn Grand Army!"

Sure enough, after the final obstruction was completely destroyed, the Dragonborn Grand Army successfully joined forces from the front and rear assaults, and began to eliminate the surrounding troll soldiers.

Given the Dragonborn's troops clearly held an absolute advantage, coupled with the surrounding troll soldiers being dazed by the previous Tier 6 spell explosion, still unsteady from the chaos, it didn't take long for them to be wiped out completely.

Seeing that their efforts were futile, the other trolls and minotaurs surrounding the Dragonborn Grand Army had no choice but to abandon them, unwilling to continue fruitless efforts to salvage the battle.

Thus, the Dragonborn Grand Army successfully broke through and regrouped, swiftly assembling into an attacking formation, shifting direction to counter-attack the trolls and minotaur Grand Army.

The Flower Fairy Army, already halfway down the mountain, seeing this, swiftly launched volleys of magic cannon and various ranged spells at the troll and minotaur Grand Army.

Faced with the two-pronged assault of Flower Fairy's magic cannon fire from the front and Dragonborn's close-range attacks from the rear, the troll and minotaur's formation, barely steady, once again fell into complete disarray, their shrill howls drowned in the explosions and flashing glints of sword and saber.

"Flower Fairy and Dragonborn indeed utterly occupy the advantage!"

Seeing this scene, Crisis's starry eyes couldn't help but brighten.

"Though trolls and minotaurs have reassembled some forces, if this trend persists, they won't hold out for much longer."

Broy's eyes reflected the battlefield flames on the other side of Giant Valley, showing equal focus.

"Indeed, as long as the Dragonborn and Flower Fairy continue their full-on assault, the trolls and minotaurs are almost certainly doomed to defeat."

Shuert's aged eyes flashed with wise brilliance, continuing: "But Your Majesty of the Humans already mentioned, the battlefield's situation is unpredictable, and how it will unfold is yet unknown.

At the center of everyone, Leo Ray listened to the dialogue while monitoring the battlefield's situation.

Currently, after several engagements, the strength of these four armies has diminished, likely dropping to at least below seventy percent.

In other words, each side has lost at least ten or so Tier 3 Legions, particularly the trolls and minotaurs, who suffered greater losses, which undoubtedly reduces pressure on our side.

But even with this, any force remains a significant threat to us, not to mention we still don't know where the crucial point is or what it entails.

Just as Leo Ray pondered this, an unexpected event occurred, catching everyone at the Fortress and all forces on the battlefield off guard.

The Dragonborn Grand Army, seemingly in smooth sails, suddenly halted its attack, transitioning the rear army to the vanguard, swiftly withdrawing from the battlefield, beginning to regroup at the edge of Giant Valley.

The other three sides, amidst fierce battling, saw this and were momentarily stunned, and even the deafening battle cries on the battlefield nearly came to a standstill.

But after a moment of shock, the battlefield's situation suddenly underwent a complete reversal.

With the Dragonborn no longer posing a threat from behind, the heavily damaged trolls and minotaurs without hesitation directed their fury at the Flower Fairy Army still encircled.

In an instant, countless magic catapults and magic cannons fired toward the center-positioned Flower Fairy Army.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Accompanied by a series of deafening explosions, caught off-guard, the Flower Fairy's already fragile Absolute Defense Barrier instantly became riddled with cracks, clearly severely damaged.

Feeling the overwhelming murderous intent rising from the trolls and minotaurs, the Flower Fairy Army, nearing the foot of the mountain, realized breaking through was hopeless and unwillingly began retreating toward the mountain peak, attempting to reclaim advantageous terrain.

But during the retreat, with the troll and minotaur's attacks intensifying, the Flower Fairy finally failed to withstand, their Defensive Barrier shattered once more.

As the crisp sound of barrier breaking resounded, the magic cannon fire of trolls and minotaurs poured into the Flower Fairy's camp, and deadly magic radiance suddenly soared, propelling numerous unsuspecting Flower Fairy soldiers into the sky, their wings and bodies swiftly breaking apart, the outcome foreseeable.

After suffering a second blow, amidst the chaos, the Flower Fairy Army was clearly furious, fully opening fire, retaliating against opponents at the mountain base unshielded by an Absolute Defense Barrier.

For a time, both sides exchanged magic cannon fire, with no Absolute Defense Barrier protection, each shot landed with harsh impact, triggering a wave of screams and debris in both camps, entangled in a deadlock.

"This, what is this...?!"

The sudden turn of events left Crisis stunned for several seconds before she regained her focus, exclaiming in disbelief: "Your Majesty of the Humans was right, the battlefield indeed underwent an unforeseen change again!"

In the midst of her astonishment, Crisis swallowed hard, puzzled: "The Dragonborn Grand Army clearly had the absolute advantage, why suddenly withdraw their troops?"

"Don't forget what I mentioned earlier, these four adversaries aim not merely to destroy each other but to reach that crucial point."

Leo Ray's eyes narrowed slightly, responding: "And now, with the trolls, minotaurs, and Flower Fairies having lost significant strength and caught in a hard-fought fight, only the Dragonborn have separated from the fray, so the outcome is quite obvious."

"So the Dragonborn Grand Army's purpose from the start was to have the other three sides restrain and exhaust each other?"

Broy immediately understood, blurting out: "And now they can reach the crucial point without any concern!"

With Broy's words, the Dragonborn Grand Army, re-formed, took to the air from the other side of Giant Valley, flying straight toward our Fortress.

Almost in the blink of an eye, the advance units of the Dragonborn Grand Army had reached the center of Giant Valley, continuing their approach toward our Fortress.

"The advance units of the opposition aren't slowing at all, it seems the crucial point isn't deep within Giant Valley, but in our area!"

Shuert's wooden brows furrowed deeply, speaking: "The opposition is soon upon us!"

Upon hearing this, everyone's expressions turned stern while secretly breathing a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, we had deployed in advance, concentrating our main forces at the Waterfall Watcher Fortress; otherwise, with the opponent's unrestrained stance, if we were caught defenseless, we would undoubtedly fall into an extremely passive situation.

Before long, the opponent's advance units indeed charged straight across Giant Valley, landing right in front of our Fortress.

After they landed, the leading Dragonborn commander immediately noticed we were on guard, though with a fully enclosed battle helmet concealing their face, their momentary hesitation revealed significant surprise.

After exchanging words with surrounding commanders, the leading Dragonborn commander led a team of Imperial Guards, slowly flew over first, saying: "Hear this, people on the other side, we intend to seize this area. If you wish to avoid death, open the Fortress Gate immediately, for it will soon be under our control."

On the towering City Wall of the Fortress, a young man of the Human Clan slowly stepped forward, responding indifferently: "Stop with the jokes here. What if I say no?"
