Ji Ah's POV

"Finally! This stupid class is over!" Ryujin said as we all got up from our desks to leave.

"Oh please, you were literally just sleeping the entire time" Seul said as we all left the class. It was the last class of the day and we were going home now.

"Not my fault Maths is boring" Ryujin replied.

"True that, I completely agree" Chaeryoung said.

"Me too" I said, joining in as well.

"It is not boring. You all are just a bunch of dummies" Seul said.

"Ah yes yes, Miss Mathematician, you are absolutely right. Anyways let's hurry up. I am tired as hell and I just wanna go sleep" I said, as the four of us exited the school building.

The other nine were already waiting for us at the school gate. They waved at us as we all ran towards them.

"Finally you all are out, I thought it'd take centuries for you to come!" Hyunjin said.

"Must have been because of Ji Ah. You must understand your cousin Hyunjin, poor girl can't keep up with her short legs" Beomgyu said, snickering at me.

"Ha ha very funny, you should go for the job of a standup comedian! That will suit you very well" I said, rolling my eyes.

"OK lets stop that here, I dont want you two to start fighting. Anyways, as I was saying, I just discovered this beautiful place yesterday. I don't think anyone knows about it or goes there. So let's go and we could make it our hangout spot!" Soobin said.

"Damn boy, you really love discovering and exploring, don't you?" Seul said.

"Yes, apparently he does" Taehyun said, agreeing with her.

"Well, what are we waiting for then, lets go!" Soobin said excitedly.

"Um no. Have you forgotten what happened in that forbidden room? And that was in the school, a place we are familiar with. But this, wherever you are taking us, is a completely strange place. Who knows what might be there!" Kai said, clearly looking worried.

"He has got a point you know" I said, siding with him.

"Oh come on Kai, nothing happened in that room. It were just some flickering lights and about the place we are heading to, I completely understand where you are coming from, but all of us are together you know. Nothing will happen as long as we are together. We should not miss the oppurtunity to discover a beautiful place!" Jennie said, trying to convince him. Everyone agreed with her except for Kai, but all of us went nonetheles.

We all just stood with our mouths hanging wide open. This place that Soobin took us to, was literally the most beautiful place I had ever seen in my life. It was a huge forest with beautiful trees and flowers, different coloured butterflies roaming around, adorning it's beauty. Purple coloured leaves scattered on the ground, making it look appealing to the eyes.

"Is this what heaven looks like?" Hyunjin said, turning around to look at a butterfly that just passed by him.

"Don't know, but you should make the most of it, you know. You will definitely not get to know what heaven looks like after you die. You are definitely going to hell" I said, patting his shoulder.

"Ah of course, you'll know all about it. You are gonna be accompanying me down there after all!" He said, giving me a very fake smile, to which I just poked my tongue out.

"Guys guys, how about we light these pieces of woods on fire? That'll be so much fun!" Beomgyu said, motioning at the pieces of woods scattered nearby.

"Yeah sure, but first let me tell you the name of this place. I thought of it when I first came here. This, my friends, will be called the Magic Island!" Soobin said, smiling at us.

Everyone was cheering and clapping, but I just felt creeped out. "Magic island," that name sounded very pretty, but it just gave me weird chills as soon as I heard it. And I did not like that at all. I looked at everyone grabbing the woods for the fire and decided to help them.

I noticed that Yeonjun had been awfully silent this whole time so I asked him if he was fine, to which he just gave me an assuring smile, telling me not to worry as he was just tired.

"Gyu, care to tell us why you have that matchstick with you? Don't tell me you have started smoking!" I said, narrowing my eyes at him.

"Smoking? Me? I might not be the smartest but I am clearly not that stupid to waste my precious life by doing that. I just found this in the school and decided to keep it since no one was picking it up. Good thing I did, it came to use at least!" He said, explaining himself and stared at the fire.

"Weird, but okay" Seul said.

Maybe coming here was not that of a bad idea after all, It did feel peaceful.

Kai's POV

I didn't like this for some reason. It felt weird to be there, it felt like we were not the only ones here, like someone was watching us. Maybe I was just paranoid, but I couldn't help it.

I looked at my right to see Hyunjin and Felix laughing about something Beomgyu said. Hyunjin and Ji Ah were the only ones close to him, they had known him since the first year of highschool. The other four boys didn't like him much, especially Yeonjun.

He felt jealous of him of course, because of Ji Ah. All of us knew he liked her except for the girl herself. Of course, I didn't call her a boomer for no reason.

"Ugh why is the weather gloomy all of a sudden?" Jennie said, pulling me out of my thoughts. I looked at the sky to see dark clouds looming over us.

"Weird, the weather was supposed to be clear for today" Felix said.

"Well, it's nature we are talking about. Anything could happen in seconds" Ryujin said and just then a loud thunder rumbled in the sky. I didn't like this at all.

"Come on guys, let's hurry up and leave. We haven't gotten any umbrellas with us." Rosé said, getting up and taking her bag pack. Everyone agreed and began hurrying up as well. We started running to get out as soon as possible. I looked back only to find Soobin standing at his spot and staring at nothing in particular. I ran back and grabbed his hand, taking him with me.

"What were you doing? We have to hurry up before it can get dangerous. The weather isn't looking very friendly, you know!" I said.

"Ah well, I was thinking about what excuse to tell at home for coming late" He said, smiling nervously.

"Ah seriously, you could think about that later dude!" I said and he just nodded at me. We arrived at the bus stop, only to find the weather perfectly fine.

"What the fuck?" Ryujin said out loud. "What in the kermit the frog is this?" She said.

"This is weird for real" Chaeryoung said.

"Yeah but it happens sometimes you know. Like in one part of the same place it might be raining but then the other part is completely fine" Ji Ah said and they seemed to calm down at that.

"Let's just go home guys. We still have school tomorrow" Felix said and we all nodded at him.

This whole time Yeonjun had been awfully silent. He didn't utter a single word. Wonder what's wrong with him.
