Eternal Heavenly Emperor

Chapter 561: The Clone Departs

Chu Hao could do nothing about this; he could only hope in secret that Yue Wu Jian would succeed smoothly.

However, with the strength of Yue Wu Jian, recognized as the foremost War God of the Nine States, even if he truly fell into the void, he still had a significant chance of surviving. After all, the War God had reached a peak state in his cultivation and was only hindered by the Heavenly Dao restrictions of Sky Martial Star which were sealed by the formation, preventing contact with the complete Five-level Laws, causing his progress to stall.

Just let him enter an intact world, and he would surely make a breakthrough in a short time, becoming the first Star Master of Sky Martial Star in a million years!

Chu Hao continued his efforts to break through to the Tenth Tier War Emperor. In his Sea of Consciousness, the Dharma Aspect was imposing; the present and future Dharma Aspects resonated from afar, giving him a glimpse into the future.

If there were only one Dharma Aspect, he would have broken through to the Tenth Tier sooner; however, the future aspect seemed like a bottomless pit that was never filled, causing his breakthrough to be significantly delayed.

He needed to find an opportunity to condense another separate form and send the future body as well, otherwise accommodating two Dharma Aspects in a single Sea of Consciousness made his cultivation rise incredibly slow. The Heavenly Dao was to open in just over a decade, and he must make it to War God to qualify for controlling his own destiny in the future.

But after so many days, he finally "sated" the future body, commencing the final transformation.

Thunderous, tides surged in the Sea of Consciousness, and a significant transformation was taking place.

Strands of silver light surged; both Dharma Aspects were growing, and soon, the tenth silver ring formed out of nothing.

Crack, crack, crack; pieces of Spirit Stone shattered, turning into mist-like Spiritual Energy, swirling around Chu Hao, providing him with a continuous supply of energy.

Every breakthrough to a new realm involved elevating the body, which requires immense energy. Normally, Spiritual Medicine is best suited for this, but as one advances to higher realms, the required Spiritual Medicines are of higher tiers, which are not abundantly available in the world.

Without Spiritual Medicine, Spirit Stones had to suffice, arranged into a Formation, with Spiritual Energy turning into thick mist. Although not as effective as directly taking Spiritual Medicine, the prolonged duration could compensate.

Three days later, the tenth silver ring finally stabilized.

Chu Hao breathed a sigh of relief, as the transition to Tenth Tier was the most challenging. Having smoothly completed this step, advancing to War Emperor seemed relatively easy.

Every day, many people stayed by the Transmission Array, and even numerous War Gods occasionally checked it. In comparison, Chu Hao's breakthrough to the Tenth Tier War Emperor seemed uneventful, as everyone awaited the moment when the Transmission Array would light up and Yue Wu Jian would reappear before them.

After a full ten days, the Transmission Array still showed no signs of activity, as if Yue Wu Jian really was lost in the void.

This left many people disappointed.

Was Sky Martial Star truly doomed, resigned only to surviving under the tyranny of warriors from Outside the Domain?

With each passing day, disappointment grew in everyone's heart, gradually turning into despair.

Su Wanyue and Gu Qingcheng, among other women, came from Spirit Spring Sect and took Snowy Plains Sect as their new long-term residence. Likewise, many descendants of War Gods also flocked there, causing discontent among the disciples of Snowy Plains Sect, as they had to respectfully greet each visitor as "sir."

—Anyone who had the qualifications to come here had the backing of War Gods, compelling them to lower their heads.

It might have been the domain of Snowy Plains Sect, but now they seemed like mere servants.

More and more ancient people were "unearthed," including Xia Yuanchao's parents and elders, not lacking Star Masters among them, but each one was greatly weakened, their Combat Power nowhere near their prime.

After all, if they still had Star Master-level power, they would have long led their clansmen away from Sky Martial Star. But severely weakened, losing much of their power, they had no choice but to self-seal, waiting for the Heavenly Dao to open, when they could capture the Laws anew, nourish their bodies, and potentially recover.

As several Star Masters arrived, even numerous War Gods had to bow their noble heads. And when those Star Masters spoke of the past, they repeatedly expressed their emotions; back then, the Great Emperor of the He Family was like the sun at high noon, full of confidence about reaching the Heavenly Emperor Realm.

Everyone believed that the Great Emperor of the He Family would become the first Eternal Heavenly Emperor in recorded history, but surprisingly, he failed! Not long after, he passed away, dragging down the entirety of Sky Martial Star which resulted in the depletion of Spiritual Energy, taking a million years to gradually recover.

Afterward, the Sky-Sealing Act was implemented.

Many secrets were revealed, stunning the listeners, stirring their blood with excitement. It turned out that Sky Martial Star was so prosperous a million years ago, truly having War Gods as common as dogs, with Star Masters plentiful, and many Domain Lords and Realm Masters also in abundance.

But such great figures all came from Outside the Domain to visit the Great Emperor of the He Family, to listen to his teachings; it was impossible for Sky Martial Star alone to nurture so many powerful beings simultaneously.

Some naïvely believed that among those warriors from Outside the Domain, outside the Starry Sky Transmission Array, many were probably the powerful beings who had withdrawn from Sky Martial Star back then, and they would still consider themselves people of Sky Martial Star, not committing fratricide. However, many coldly scorned them.

It's been a million years, even Star Masters could have died ten times over, who still shares your origin?

By the fifty-first day, everyone had given up hope, but just then, the Star Universe Transmission Array lit up.

Thunderous, amidst a heavy sound, a fearsome aura swept across the entire Sky Martial Star.

Even for a War God, the impact area was limited and could never radiate across the entire planet unless it was... a Star Master!

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, in an instant, several Star Masters and numerous War Gods had also stepped forward to the Starry Sky Transmission Array. Chu Hao was only a step behind, only to see a tall man standing in the ancient altar.

Yue Wu Jian?

He looked somewhat similar, yet not quite.

To say he looked alike, it was because this man's appearance did indeed resemble Yue Wu Jian by about seventy percent; to say not, it was because he was too young!

No more than twenty-something, his skin glistening like fine jade, emitting an astonishing divine light, his hair dense and pitch-black as if forged from supreme celestial gold. More crucially, his vitality was frighteningly robust, absolutely at the most brilliant time of his life, brimming with youthful vigor.

Yue Wu Jian was already over six hundred years old, although still quite a way off from a War God's millennial lifespan. He could, at best, be considered to be in his prime, which was far too different from such an energetic state.

"He has broken through!" said a Star Master; it was the grandfather of Xia Yuanchao, also the only Star Master of the Xia family. He said with a trembling voice, "This teleportation array is intact, connected to a planet. It was there that he completed his breakthrough, stepping into the Star Master realm!"

Yue Wu Jian! It really was Yue Wu Jian!

He had stepped into the Star Master realm, his lifespan limit suddenly surged to a hundred thousand years. Now, at his current age of six hundred plus years compared to a timespan of a hundred thousand years, wasn't he just starting out?

No wonder he brimmed with youthful vitality.

All the War Gods looked at Yue Wu Jian with envious eyes. Star Master—a realm they all dreamt of reaching, and a lifespan of a hundred thousand years seemed almost immortal to them.

Who had the courage to step forward first if not Yue Wu Jian? Now, he was also the first to encounter the flawless Heavenly Laws, and coupled with an accumulation of one to two hundred years, he had finally triggered a massive outbreak, achieving this monumental breakthrough in just fifty-one days.

"Such talent, even in Ancient Times, could be called a prodigy," said everyone as they nodded in agreement, not skimping on their praises for Yue Wu Jian. Indeed, to achieve such a breakthrough in merely two months, he could definitely match the Heaven Talented of ancient times.

"This teleportation array connects to an uninhabited star and is not suitable for living," Yue Wu Jian said. "But if several Star Masters join hands to transform it, although this planet cannot even rank as a tenth-class star, it could at least be made habitable for ordinary people."

Upon hearing this, everyone rejoiced. The most pressing thing was to leave Sky Martial Star, which was akin to a steamer, and they were the vegetables! As long as they could leave, these War Gods also had an opportunity to break through to Star Master.

There's no doubt about that; anyone who could cultivate to War God in such an environment was a rare talent. Even if they couldn't match Yue Wu Jian, it would take at most half a year, a year, or even a hundred years, but eventually, they too had a chance to break through to Star Master.

"In that case, let's leave quickly!" everyone said.

There was no time to delay. There were too many people on Sky Martial Star; the earlier they could start, the more people they could send away.

"Begin at once!" Since the teleportation array was proven usable, and the other side was an uninhabited planet, everyone decided immediately to start a comprehensive population transfer.

Buzz, buzz, buzz; the teleportation array continuously emanated light, sending away a group of about a thousand people roughly every minute. Even so, only about a million people could be transported in one day, equating to only about five hundred million a year.

But how many people were there on Sky Martial Star? Over a hundred billion!

There was absolutely no time to waste.

A few Star Masters left first, entrusted with the task of transforming the planet; otherwise, ordinary people going there would face certain death.

Chu Hao's mind stirred, and a part of the Heaven Devouring Beast rose from beneath the ground. Now that they could leave Sky Martial Star, he wanted his split body to enter the Star Universe first to seek desolate planets for devouring.

In less than a day, the split body of the Heaven Devouring Beast arrived. With Chu Hao's great achievements, obtaining a few advance tickets was naturally not difficult. Thus, the split body of the Heaven Devouring Beast was the first to enter the teleportation array. With a buzz and a flash of white light, it vanished without a trace.

Chu Hao, through the eyes of the Heaven Devouring Beast, clearly saw everything.

It was just half a minute, and the teleportation was already complete. The Heaven Devouring Beast appeared on an altar which was also inside a mountain belly. The people nearby looked around curiously because this was no longer Sky Martial Star.

Chu Hao's split body sensed that there was no Spiritual Energy here, making it an infertile land for Martial Artists.

He followed the people out of the mountain belly, and a desolate world appeared before him, ancient and wild. There were nothing but barren, bald mountains, and cracked earth; beyond that, there was nothing else.

It was time to leave.

There wasn't much Chu Hao could do here, but if this split body could rush to Star Master, or even a higher realm within ten years, perhaps it could return to Sky Martial Star and turn the tide.

Immediately, the Heaven Devouring Beast soared into the sky. (To be continued. If you like this work, welcome to qidian.com to vote for recommendation tickets and monthly tickets. Your support is my biggest motivation. Mobile users, please go to m.qidian.com to read.)
