Chapter 23: The Faces That Haunt You!
| After 3:00 PM ~ Mahou high library with Cassidy...
'*Sip* Ahaaa... Here's like hoping, our school's library has what I want.' She contently thought, sipping on canned sweet vanilla coffee.
'Do schools even have books on dancing? A trendy gal like me, prefers a picture book if anything. To up MY game, they better have some options.' She considered.
After searching the shelves, she exclaimed, ''Tight! I found one. Mm... 'Modern Celeb Dance Moves for Dopes.' Wait, h-huh? *Scans over pages.* Waowww. On point, it does have pictures!''
Nearby, she heard!, ''Curses! How could Eri foul things up again?!''
Alarmed, Cassidy thought, '*Mildly chokes* No, that piercing voice. Oka-okay-okay, where have I heard-((Trip! Smack!!!))'
Hysterically, Miss. Farah uttered, ''Arhhh *Winces* So that painful sound was your triping and falling, was it?!? Girl, Tell me... did your fall hurt much???''
Cassidy achingly groaned with one arm up, ''Good. Oww... My drink didn't waste. *Final sip*''
As she faintly crushed her can, she gruffly said, ''You. Gah! You're the interviewer girl from that bus, the girl who's face totally keeps...haunting my dreams.''
Bemused, Eri asked, ''...Haunt? ..Haunted? ...Haunting? You mean, like a ghost?''
Cassidy squeaked out, ''E~Erhhh..... ''
Miss. Farah erratically asked, ''What's-this-I--hear about this 'bus girl interviewer?' -And seeing faces?''
Jittering her head to focus, Cassidy asked, ''Also, you. Yeah, are you like, a teacher or something?''
Jumbledly, Miss. Farah replied hitting the back of her head, ''O-Oh, right. I'm Miss. Farah, and I impart social studies to my students of class 1-A. -Oh, -and to her too.''
'This lady..is her teacher? Uehh...yeah... Now everything makes total sense... ' Cassidy glumly thought, as she asked, ''Yeah... How bad must you have bombed something, to fritter away your afternoon with a teacher like you're doing.''
Eri joylessly replied, ''Mhm-Mm. Right, you are. Eri scored a puny (42) on her homework... ''
Miss. Farah added, ''How ironic was it, -that the subject of her homework-was -social-studies. The subject, that I teach! *Sighs* Pins and needles..... ''
Sweatily gripping her canned coffee, Cassidy thought, 'Yeesh. 42? She bombed that much?! Like on any other day, I would enjoy those facts, but...
-How did she actually score higher than my 29??? This is not tight... '
Coarsely, Cassidy said with a smirk, ''Why don't you, just pack all your things, leave, and return from wherever you came from? Pffhhh~! Why pick a city like Kyoto anyway?''
After a moment of silence, Eri carefreely replied, ''. . .Why- Because in every thing Eri's seen it, it became clear to see that in Japan, Kyoto is thé place to be. Eri thinks, Tokyo is overdone.''
Miss. Farah radiantly added, ''Quite a fair observation, I say.''
Flabbergasted by their words, Cassidy uttered, ''Ga-gahhh... *Book crinkles* Yahhh! My book. Oah! Can't forgot what I'm here!''
((Runs off))
