...
Many of the best-selling newspapers in the UK dedicated their front pages to Leicester City, celebrating their remarkable winning streak. Headlines screamed excitement and pride:
"New Record, New Era!"
"The English Championship Overlord! Leicester City!"
With such extensive coverage, Leicester City—a small team from a city with a population of only 300,000—suddenly found itself thrust into the limelight as a major player in English football.
One striking image caught everyone's attention: a photo of Tristan standing defiantly in front of a sea of red seats, making a "shut up" gesture to the opposing fans.
His blend of talent, charisma, attitude, and look captivated fans and media alike, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career and in Leicester City's storied journey. As the most talked-about player in the squad, Tristan naturally became the object of media hype. His Twitter followers surged from over 30,000 to more than 80,000 in just two days, while his Instagram followers nearly doubled, reaching almost 90,000. Approaching the 100,000 mark filled him with anticipation; he wondered if there would be any corresponding rewards when he hit that milestone.
Since being promoted to the first team, Leicester City had won every game Tristan participated in, leading the fans to dub him their "Lucky Star." The excitement didn't stop there; the largest fan organization, the "Fox Club," announced they had composed a "Tristan Song" in his honor—a rare distinction previously bestowed only upon "King" Andy King and captain Wes Morgan. Tristan's combination of good looks, exceptional football skills, and rising popularity earned him a place among the club's legends.
The club beamed with pride over breaking the record for consecutive wins in the Championship, and even the owner, Vichai, who was rarely involved in day-to-day affairs, shared the good news with the coaching staff and players through the sports director, Rudkin. To reward the team's outstanding performance, each coach and player received a £50,000 bonus!
After defeating Nottingham Forest, Leicester City took only two days off before facing Ipswich Town at home. With their spirits high from the recent streak, the new bonus, and the deafening cheers of tens of thousands of Blue Fox fans, Leicester City easily secured a 2-0 victory, extending their winning streak to twelve games, a game which Tristan didn't play in the entire time. Their lead over Burnley, who had drawn their previous match, widened to an impressive twelve points, making it nearly impossible for Leicester City to lose in the Championship.
On February 23rd, with the team on holiday, Tristan had a rare chance to go home and enjoy a day off. He had applied to a driving school, but his schedule as a professional player limited him to lessons only once a week. After finishing his driving session in the morning, Tristan returned home and eagerly retreated to his room to catch up on his favorite TV series.
Having recently received his first weekly salary, he had splurged on the latest LCD TV, CD player, and PS4. One of his favorite shows was the American series The Sopranos.
Just as he became engrossed in the show, his cell phone rang. Seeing Mendes flash on the caller ID pulled him away from the drama.
"Hey, Mendes. Everything alright?" Tristan asked, his tone casual but curious. It wasn't often his agent called out of the blue.
"Tristan, where are you right now?" Mendes' voice carried an unusual urgency.
"At home. Why? What's going on?" Tristan sat up, his attention now fully on the conversation.
"I need to discuss something important with you," Mendes replied, his words clipped but direct.
"Alright. Where should we meet?" Tristan asked, swinging his legs over the side of the bed.
"No need to go anywhere. I'll be at your house in twenty minutes," Mendes said before hanging up.
Tristan exhaled, his curiosity piqued. Mendes wasn't one to waste time, and the weight in his voice suggested this wasn't a routine check up call.
(20 Minuters Later)
The sound of a car pulling into the driveway broke the stillness. Tristan quickly straightened up, running a hand through his curls as he headed to the door.
Upon opening the door, he greeted Mendes and his assistant.
"Come in," he invited.
"Excuse me," Mendes replied as he stepped inside.
As they entered the living room, Tristan's mother, Julia, emerged from the kitchen.
"Oh Mendes, hello, good to see you. How are you doing?" she asked with a smile noticing Mendes.
Mendes returned the smile, "Ma'am, I apologize for the sudden visit."
"No need to apologize. Please take a seat. I'll get you some tea."
Once seated, Julia brought in a tray and poured tea for everyone. As Mendes sipped the tea, he remarked, "Good tea?"
"Glad you like it, it's my dad's recipe." Tristan said proudly.
After enjoying the tea, Mendes shifted the conversation back to business. "Tristan, let me make this short. Over the past few days, I've been receiving calls from many companies and enterprises hoping to invite you to be their spokesperson!"
Mendes' words stunned Tristan.
'Commercial endorsements already damn.'
Thinking this in his heart, Tristan raised his eyebrows and asked, "Mr. Mendes, is this true?"
However, in response to Tristan's doubts, Mendes was generous with his praise:
"Of course! You are one of the hottest talents in England right now!"
Mendes keeps a close eye on his clients' performances through weekly reports from his assistants. He was very satisfied with Tristan's outstanding display on the field during this period. At the same time, he was glad to have acted quickly, securing Tristan, a gem destined to shine, before many English agents took notice.
"Besides local businesses and companies in Leicester, many enterprises in London have expressed interest in collaborating with me."
"So, you came here today just to let me look at those commercial endorsements and then choose from them?"
However, to Tristan's surprise, Mendes shook his head.
"No, the reason I came here in person is that I hope you will reject these commercial endorsements!"
As soon as these words were spoken, confusion spread across Tristan's face.
"Why?"
After sitting up straighter and taking a sip of tea, Mendes finally expressed his thoughts:
"First of all, the offers for these endorsements are not high, and the endorsement terms are relatively long. Clearly, they just want to sign a contract with you before your value skyrockets, using your popularity and influence to boost their own exposure and fame.
Secondly, for these small companies, we cannot ensure that there won't be issues with their products that could harm your reputation.
Taking on these endorsements will only occupy your time and distract you from the game."
In summary, Mendes advised that these endorsements pay little, are unworthy of Tristan's status, and could lead to unnecessary complications.
Touching his smooth chin, Tristan immediately asked, "So your suggestion is that I should focus on the pitch first and not be distracted by off-pitch matters?"
Nodding, Mendes elaborated:
"That's right. This is your first professional season. Your focus should be on maintaining your excellent performance on the field. Now is not the best time to develop your commercial value. Once you help Leicester City win the Championship and get promoted to the Premier League, your commercial value and influence will only increase. By then, you'll be eligible for more lucrative endorsements from larger companies!"
"I have great confidence in your growth, and you possess all the qualities needed to become a world-class player. As long as you perform well in the Premier League next season, I can help you secure a Nike or Adidas endorsement contract!"
The two giants in the sports brand realm—Nike and Adidas—are endorsements every professional player dreams of. Securing a deal with either signifies that a player's commercial value and influence are recognized.
After Mendes finished laying out his vision, he did not forget to add: "Of course, if you want to pursue these endorsements, I won't object. The final decision is still yours."
After considering Mendes' analysis, Tristan accepted his reasonable advice and turned down all the commercial endorsements.
Of course, this is not because he doesn't care about money, but because he has greater ambitions.
Not only Mendes has confidence in him, but Tristan is also very confident in himself.
He hopes to reach a higher stage, such as the Premier League and the Champions League!
Competing with stronger teams, fighting against stronger opponents, and then competing for the championship title and personal honor!
Since God has given him the opportunity to live again with the system, he will never miss such an opportunity.

The Next Day, Afternoon
Belvoir Base, Leicester
Tristan was deep into training with the team when a sudden notification echoed in his mind:
[Ding Dong!]
[Achievement "Over 100,000 Social Media Followers" achieved]
[Achievement Rating: B]
[Achievement Reward: Training Acceleration Card!]
What?
One hundred thousand followers?
Training Acceleration Card?
It wasn't until the team training session concluded, and he had taken a refreshing shower and changed into his casual clothes, that Tristan finally had the chance to delve into the reward he had just received.
Navigating to the [Character Panel], he opened the [Props Bar] and spotted a card emitting a soft, white glow next to the [Stamina Drink]:
[Prop Name: Training Acceleration Card]
[Effect: Choose any one attribute to accelerate training!]
[Item Duration: 30 days]
This item seems intriguing!
If he understood correctly, using the Training Acceleration Card would allow him to enhance one of his six attributes, leading to faster improvement over the next thirty days.
If he chose to focus on Ball Control, would the attributes related to it—like Ball Stopping—increase more rapidly? With Mahrez's guidance during that time, his skills could skyrocket!
