Endless Leveling Done Right!

Chapter 351: Are You Guys Afraid Of The Dark? [Part 1]

"I love Hell Mode!" Alex laughed out loud as the wave of monsters turned into waves of monster cores.

Although he knew Rank 5 Monsters and above were on their way to the surface, he showed no worry whatsoever.

Why?

All of them still had their teleportation crystals. If things got too dangerous, everyone from Endless Horizon could just teleport out and leave the rest for Professor Rowan to handle!

Alex had no plans to risk anyone's life, including his, by futilely fighting against powerful monsters like Liches and Death Lords.

He also knew some Demon Worshipers remained in the Dungeon and were currently struggling to survive, but he didn't fear meeting them.

After all, he'd already thought of it. By the time the Demon Worshipers reached the First Floor, they would be too exhausted or too injured to pose a threat to them.

And even if that wasn't the case, Alex had already prepared a big surprise meant for them.

He'd already figured out what must be done if the Demon Worshipers still had the energy to pick a fight. So, he wasn't even worried even if they arrived right now.

'I'm sure Gaston is cursing his bad luck after encountering a Dungeon Outbreak during this mission,' Alex thought. 'If I remember correctly, he should be a Rank 5 Warrior at the moment.'

As someone who had played the game, Alex already knew Gaston's strengths and weaknesses.

In fact, the silver-haired young man looked forward to dealing with the Captain of the Demon Worshipers, who was under the command of one of their Elders.

The higher-ups of the Demon Worshipers consisted of nine Elders, four Executives, and one Demon Lord.

Willow was one of the Elders, but she was now dead, so only eight Elders remained.

The Demon Lord was the head of the organization, but he didn't give a hoot about what his subordinates were doing.

It was more accurate to say that the Demon Lord was just an honorary position, coincidentally at the very top, probably as a figurehead. He didn't need to do anything at all.

Simply put, the real decision makers of the organization were the four Executives and the remaining eight Elders.

Each had their own role to play and were mostly autonomous in their actions.

These factions collaborated only whenever necessary, but most of the time, they simply competed with each other.

That said, the only one Alex was more weary about was Eleanora's Master, one of the Executives of the organization and the Vampire Lord.

He had lived for thousands of years and was a Rank 8 Powerhouse.

'Only stupid people will mess with Eleanora,' Alex thought. 'The best way to deal with her is not to deal with her in the first place!'

The moment this thought appeared in the young man's head, he heard a sneeze not far from him.

"Someone must be thinking I'm the most handsome guy in the academy right now," Chuck said before flipping his hair. "Haters gonna hate."

Hearing such outrageously shameless words, Eleanora flipped off the screen.

None could top the hate she had for Chuck right now. Nothing and no one!

Unfortunately for her, reporting the incident to her Master was not possible since she was bound by a powerful contract that would immediately erase her soul if she were to betray her new Master in any way.

As such, Eleanora found herself stuck in a very passive position, to her vexation.

If Alex only knew that the most troublesome spy of the Demon Worshipers had already been dealt with, he wouldn't be worrying about how to deal with her right now!

At that moment, Vaan appeared inside the spacious cavern and didn't hesitate to walk toward Alex.

"Did something happen?" Alex asked, believing Vaan had no reason to enter the dungeon.

"The Demon Worshipers have been neutralized by the Headmaster," Vaan replied.

"Then, are you alright?" Alex looked at the pretty boy, whose face was still a little pale.

"Yes." Vaan nodded. "I just want to have a change of scenery… and maybe loot a few monster cores as well?"

Alex smirked. "Go ahead. There's plenty for everyone."

"O-Oi! That's not what you told me earlier!" Chuck immediately complained. "You said those monster cores are for our club funds?"

"That's right." Alex smiled faintly.

"How come Vaan can get a few monster cores, but I'm not allowed to get even one?"

"Why? Because Vaan is Vaan."

"… What the hell, dude?"

Vaan giggled at the sight of Chuck's indignant expression that basically screamed 'What is this discrimination?'

"Alright, don't make a fuss." Alex sighed. "You can take a few monster cores. Happy now?"

"How many is few?" Chuck asked.

"You can get thirty Rank 2 Cores."

"Deal!"

The self-proclaimed most handsome guy in the academy didn't hesitate to pick up his share of the loot.

Meanwhile, Vaan remained standing by Alex's side with his hands clasped behind his back.

"I thought you wanted to pick up some monster cores?" Alex arched an eyebrow.

"I'm just joking," Vaan answered. "Since it's for our club funds, I'm sure you will put those cores to good use."

Although the pretty boy looked fine on the surface, Alex could tell that Vaan was still feeling anxious.

Little did Alex know that Vaan's true purpose for coming in was to protect him, just in case the Demon Worshipers arrived.

Vaan had a deep-seated fear for them, but he also knew that if he didn't fight, he would remain afraid of them till the day he died.

For him, this was his first step in overcoming his fears.

Unknown to Vaan, the symbol VII glowed faintly on the back of his right hand.

Since he was clasping his hands behind his back, he wasn't able to see it.

As an Apostle Candidate, one of the requirements Vaan must meet to become an official Apostle was to overcome the fears in his heart.

Only then would he be able to charge across battlefields, riding on the Sun Chariot that would trample those who dared to block his way.

A few hours later, the Monsters on the lower floors surged like raging tides.

The Mini Bosses and the Boss Monsters of the Fifth and Tenth Floors had already reached the Third Floor.

Meanwhile, Gaston and his twelve remaining subordinates had finally reached the First Floor after their horrific experience on the Third Floor of the Orion Dungeon.
