End of Days Game: I'm the Only One Who Can See the Hidden Cues

Chapter 470: The Reversal of Strength and Weakness

The moment Jeremy fully absorbed The Sun's divinity, he gained not only all of The Sun's solar power, but these solar powers also began to interact with Jeremy's The King of Time and Space ability.

At that moment, Jeremy found himself not only able to use the power of space, but he could now combine both the power of space and the sun to generate even more destructive skills.

However, Jeremy didn't yet realize any of this, as the backlash from absorbing the divinity caused him to lose consciousness.

At that instant, Class Change Goddess Janna forcibly pulled Jeremy into the Transposition Space.

After absorbing the divinity, Jeremy's level broke through 70. With his newfound divinity, he had essentially become equal in status to the planners of the apocalypse games.

"You must wake up quickly! You've successfully absorbed The Sun's divinity, and the other apocalypse game planners will react soon. Fool might even appear in the Transposition Space in person!"

Class Change Goddess Janna's panic was clear in her voice.

She paced back and forth, now having no other options available to her.

She had already used all the healing skills she knew, but the backlash from absorbing divinity wasn't something easily solved.

The only thing left was patience. Once Jeremy woke up, she could use the Transposition Space to further help him. With the additional enhancements, Jeremy would be able to wield unimaginable power in the final battle.

Meanwhile, in the unknown space outside the universe, World was facing off against The Hanged Man, Empress, and Lovers.

Despite the three apocalypse game planners' combined strength, World was barely managing to hold its ground in the fight.

"Stop resisting, you have no ability to protect these worlds," Lovers said in a long, ethereal voice.

As she spoke, Lovers cast a glance toward the planet behind World.

The battle between them had started because of that very planet.

That planet was home to countless life forms. The three apocalypse game planners intended to completely destroy the lives on that planet. By doing so, they would be able to harness the life force of those beings, and their souls would be offered up to Fool.

World cast a cold glance at Lovers.

"Stop wasting your breath. Even if I can't defeat you in this battle, you won't easily defeat me either. I will never allow Fool's power to grow any stronger."

"Well then, let's send you on your way," Empress said, her impatience evident. Surrounding her were numerous Valkyries, who helped her fight, assuming angelic forms.

The Hanged Man had not spoken a word since the beginning. It simply stared at World with a sinister gaze. It seemed to have other thoughts, but no one knew exactly what those thoughts were.

The three apocalypse game planners launched another assault on World.

The battle between the two sides caused intense fluctuations, and various worlds observed the conflict. However, none of them understood the full implications of this battle.

After a while, the four powerful beings suddenly felt a change in power.

"Why has The Sun suddenly become so weak?" Empress said, her voice full of confusion.

The Hanged Man remained silent, but its expression grew more serious. Clearly, The Hanged Man had noticed something.

Lovers then spoke in a tone of shock, "This is impossible! The Sun's divinity has been taken by a human! This human has usurped The Sun's divinity!"

Lovers, who wielded the power of thought and emotion, was the first to notice the change.

Upon hearing Lovers' words, the other two apocalypse game planners were equally stunned, but they immediately reacted.

They turned their gazes toward World.

They were certain that everything was somehow connected to World.

World's lips curled up slightly, and a smile finally appeared on its face.

"It seems my ally has indeed succeeded. You've already lost one of your brothers, and I've gained an ally of the same level as you! Fool's plan has been completely destroyed, and the balance of power between us has shifted! Discover hidden content at My Virtual Library Empire

Now, it's time for me to launch my attack! I will not let you escape!"

World's confidence had been solidified.

After The Sun had been completely consumed, the apocalypse game planners fell into a state of panic.

The three apocalypse game planners no longer wished to continue fighting World. They decided to flee as quickly as possible.

World obviously didn't pursue them, knowing full well that chasing after them would certainly result in failure.

Instead, World decided to return to the Class Change space. It had to help Jeremy regain consciousness.

The effects of Jeremy's successful consumption of The Sun were still spreading.

Inside the capital, Kean clearly felt the strange fluctuations in the sun's power.

Though he had already guessed what had happened, he could hardly believe it. If Kean believed that Jeremy had consumed The Sun's divinity and had become an entity on par with the apocalypse game planners, how could he possibly defeat Jeremy now?

"This is absolutely impossible! My guess must have been wrong! I'm just too nervous right now; I need to calm down and get myself together!"

Kean mumbled to himself, busily organizing his weapons and items.

He knew that a huge problem was coming his way, so he decided to flee the capital.

In Kean's mind, Jeremy shouldn't have the strength to easily defeat all the apocalypse game planners. As long as Jeremy was defeated in the battle by the planners, Kean would have another chance to take revenge on him.

While Kean was frantically organizing his weapons and tools, he suddenly heard the voice of The White Tower.

"Get out of here, quickly! The enemy is coming!"

The White Tower's reason for helping Kean was to try to keep Jeremy's allies occupied.

At this point, The White Tower had learned that The Sun had already been consumed by Jeremy. It didn't want Jeremy's allies to make any significant progress now.

Kean, who had received the prompt from The White Tower, of course, did not hesitate for a moment. He immediately grabbed his weapons and gear, intending to leave as quickly as possible.

However, just as he was about to step out, he was suddenly trapped by the shadow of the door.

In that instant, Kean realized that he had fallen victim to an attack involving shadow manipulation.

Without hesitation, Kean swiftly activated his High-Dimensional Data stream. A vast surge of High-Dimensional Data shattered the shadow of the door, and Kean seized the opportunity to escape.

But his freedom was short-lived. Not long after, Kean found himself standing in the middle of a lush, dense forest.

Under normal circumstances, such a forest would provide ample cover for hiding.

However, Kean knew that the Goddess of Life had already sided with Jeremy. So, this forest—full of life—was now a dangerous trap for him.

"What's going on here? Why has a forest suddenly appeared? I need to get out of here, fast!"

Kean was frantic.

He desperately searched for an escape, but the more he panicked, the more it felt like he was trapped in a maze.

As time wore on, Kean grew increasingly fatigued. Moreover, he noticed that the shadows in the forest were behaving unusually.

He immediately braced for battle.

Before he could even use High-Dimensional Data, however, the surrounding trees began to grow at an alarming rate, and thick branches of plants ensnared him.

Not far away, the Goddess of Life and Ritchie appeared.

"Where do you think you're going?" Ritchie said coldly. "Do you really think we'll let you escape? Since you're our enemy, we'll never let you go!"

Though the conflict between Ritchie and Kean wasn't as intense as the one between Jeremy and Kean, Ritchie was still determined to eliminate him.

And standing by Ritchie's side was none other than the Goddess of Life.

Even though Ritchie might not have been capable of defeating Kean, the Goddess of Life's power was far greater than Kean's.

In his hurried state, Kean activated his innate ability once again. The power of The White Tower began to descend upon him, flooding his body with overwhelming strength.

A swirling mass of High-Dimensional Data enveloped Kean, and the surge of power that coursed through him was enough to restore his confidence and focus.

The High-Dimensional Data began to assimilate the plant branches that had been entangling him, breaking them down completely.

With that, Kean was finally free from his restraints.

He cast a cold, calculating glance toward Ritchie and the Goddess of Life, his voice laced with disdain.

"By appearing here, you're signing your own death warrant! Do you honestly believe you can defeat me? You're completely delusional! Jeremy might be my equal in terms of strength, but you two—you're nowhere near capable of challenging me!"

With those words, Kean wasted no time and launched a direct assault on Ritchie and the Goddess of Life.

Although Kean had gained immense power from The White Tower, the Goddess of Life, after a long period of recuperation, was more than a match for him in battle.

Thanks to Ritchie's assistance, the Goddess of Life was able to hold her ground against Kean, and the battle reached a stalemate.
