Elf Kingdom: Game of the World Tree

Chapter 544: The Descent of the Divine Country! (Part 2)

No matter how many frost beasts Uller conjured, they ultimately ended up ensnared and obliterated by the vines.

This was a contest of Divine Power.

The ever-changing scenes around them were all manifestations of Divine Power.

From the very beginning, Uller was destined to fail.

Feeling the rapid drain of the Divine Power within, this God of Winter and Hunting gradually became frightened.

She could not comprehend how this Goddess of Life, who had not been enthroned for long, could possess such immense power!

By this moment, she was almost convinced that this Goddess of Life was not the Mother of All Gods.

Because both in personality and fighting style, she was distinctly different from the World Tree Yggdrasil she knew.

Not to mention, her true form was here, which naturally couldn't be the World Tree that couldn't act freely.

The two, they should merely look alike.

But this realization only led to more confusion for her...

*Could a True God polluted by the power of faith grow so strikingly strong?*

Or perhaps... *she not only inherited the World Tree's divine duties but also acquired some of its power?*

Yes.

Her original race seemed to be elf, and judging by appearances, she was of the elven royal family, a tribe that served the Mother of All Gods...

From this perspective, it seemed highly possible that she had received some kind of inheritance from Yggdrasil.

But... to have come this far, to have forced her opponent's true form, how could she possibly stop here?

Uller's eyes blazed red as she fiercely stared at Eve and roared again,

"Holder! Act quickly! I can't hold on any longer!"

As soon as her words fell, a green beam of light suddenly shot up into the sky from the direction of the "World Tree Divine Country" in Sandstorm City!

Immediately after, another identical green beam descended from the sky, directly striking the Divine Power Forest that Eve had manifested!

With a rumble, the Divine Power Forest that Eve manifested seemed to be influenced by some inexplicable force, and it was directly absorbed by the beam. In an instant, under the glow, it vanished into nothingness...

Watching the light gradually dissipate, and feeling a familiar power fluctuation, Eve's expression turned slightly solemn.

"Nature Crown..."

She murmured.

The Nature Crown, one of the three True Divine Artifacts of the previous World Tree.

It embodied the Natural Laws, possessing the abilities to repair, assimilate, and amplify the Natural Laws and powers, with the capability to interfere with domains and powers related to Natural Laws to some extent.

And just now, it had assimilated the divine power of natural attributes from Eve and absorbed the divine power Eve released.

In this region, with the laws sealed and Eve's use of the Power of Laws being suppressed, the Nature Crown, which could unrestrictedly affect the Natural Laws, became the ideal Divine Artifact against Eve!

The Laws of Life and the Natural Laws had a certain connection in the unseen...

In this sealed space, as long as Eve released her divine power, it would be influenced by it.

Even if Eve completely removed the part of her divine power that belonged to nature!

However, upon confirming that her opponent had indeed borrowed the Nature Crown from the God of War and Destruction, a glimmer of relief flashed in Eve's eyes.

Before this divine battle began, she had anticipated that her opponent might have other tactics...

Perhaps through some means, at great cost, forcibly descending her true form; or utilizing certain True Divine Artifacts to seal Eve's power...

Among these, Eve had considered whether her opponent might use the Nature Crown!

After all, only the Nature Crown could "perfectly" emulate the world's divine country.

In Eve's deductions, this was also the most likely scenario to occur!

The time had come.

She murmured in her heart.

With a thought from Eve, in each Life Temple within the Elf Forest and the Oros Half-plane, statues representing her began to glow brilliantly...

In Feilengcui, in Cenolan, in Segis City, in Flower Town...

Every location where Eve's statues were enshrined had already set up altars, with solemn Life believers standing underneath!

Life Saintess Alice gazed with excitement and fervor at the ever-glowing statue:

"Praise nature, praise life, praise the great Eve Goddess!"

"The Divine Miracle descends, it is time to summon the lost realm..."

Then, she drew a symbol of the Life Scepter on her chest with devotion, and began chanting in ancient elven tongue, her tone rising and falling:

"Patadoma... Asnata..."

As Alice chanted, Life believers everywhere, under the guidance of stationed Life Priests, also began chanting in the ancient elven tongue:

"Patadoma... Asnata..."

Patadoma.

In ancient elven tongue, it meant the essence of nature.

And Asnata, meant life.

Together, they were the full name of the former World Tree's divine country—Nature, the Cradle of Life!

"Patadoma... Asnata..."

The believers prayed ceaselessly, chanting without end.

Thousands of elves worshipped devoutly, over a hundred thousand mixed-blood humans bowed reverently to the ground, and even within Eve's Divine Country, more than a hundred Oak Guardians knelt on one knee towards the World Tree projection in the center of the Divine Country.

"Patadoma... Asnata..."

Over a hundred thousand believers prayed in unison, calling as one, and the well-prepared altars everywhere shimmered faintly, continually amplifying this prayer, this call!
