The black Lamborghini raced toward Jay and Lokesh before suddenly turning and drifting around them, coming to a screeching halt just ahead. The sound of the tires echoed through the garage, breaking through the noise and forcing a brief moment of silence.

Right after, two armored vehicles pulled up and stopped in the open. Their doors swung open, and over ten security members stepped out, each armed with assault rifles and dressed in full tactical gear.

One of the guards rushed to the Lamborghini and opened the passenger door.

A bespectacled youth wearing an oversized anime T-shirt stepped through it, annoyance etched across his face. Ignoring the stares and the tension in the air, he snapped at the guard, "I can open my damn door. I was just waiting a bit longer to do it slowly so I'd look cool. You ruined it."

He then turned and bent slightly, speaking to someone still inside the car.

"Mr. Noel, come on, do your thing."

The driver's door opened, and a man in his mid-thirties stepped out with calm, graceful steps. The youth immediately lit up like a fan meeting his idol.

"That was amazing as always, Mr. Noel. Please teach me how to do that!"

The man smiled awkwardly. He had a lean frame and wore a plain grey suit, looking calm and collected. His features were clearly Irish, fair skin, sharp blue eyes, and sandy blonde hair neatly combed back. A light dusting of freckles across his nose gave him a younger look, even though his eyes carried maturity.

Jay, bruised and barely standing, watched everything unfold. Relief washed over him, mixed with confusion. He glanced at Lokesh, who nodded. They both understood this was their chance.

Noel stepped forward, taking in the situation with a quiet, steady gaze. The guards stood in formation, weapons ready, their presence enough to stop anyone from making a move.

The bespectacled youth, Udhay, scanned the goons until his eyes settled on someone hiding behind the bodyguards. He smiled to himself and called out loudly, "You there! Quadnite boy! Step out. Let me see that messed-up face of yours."

No one answered.

Udhay clicked his tongue and turned toward the guards.

"For God's sake, do I have to spell it out?" he shouted. "Round them all up. And bring me the one in the flashy clown costume. Got it?"

The guards moved quickly. Trained and organized, they raised their assault rifles and aimed them at the remaining goons. Realizing they didn't stand a chance, threw down their handguns and kicked them aside. One by one, the rest of the group raised their hands in surrender.

Rohan finally stepped forward, his face twisted with anger and fear. His glare flicked between the guards and Udhay, and the moment he saw Udhay laughing, holding his stomach from amusement, his expression darkened even more.

If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

Rohan muttered a curse under his breath. Of all the people he didn't want to see, Udhay was at the very top of the list. Every time they crossed paths at social events, Udhay found a way to humiliate him in front of everyone. It was as if making Rohan look like a fool was Udhay's personal goal.

After a long, hearty laugh, Udhay finally composed himself and walked closer to Rohan.

"You really have a great sense of style," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "That bloody nose? Perfect match for your outfit. Honestly, it makes you look even dumber than usual."

He gave Rohan a full look, scanning him from head to toe with fake admiration.

Rohan's jaw clenched. His face twisted with barely contained anger, but he knew better than to retaliate against the son of the state's Chief Minister. He loathed Udhay even more than Jay but could only swallow his pride in the face of someone with a more powerful background.

Turning to Noel, Udhay said, "Mr. Noel, this guy is quite the comedian. He never fails to entertain me."

Noel chuckled softly. "Let's go. I have a meeting with the hospital director. Don't want to keep him waiting."

Udhay nodded, letting out a short sigh. "Yeah, yeah. Time to wrap up this drama." He gave Rohan a casual wave. "I'll play with you some other time. And by the way, red suits you. Especially now that your whole face matches your nose. See ya."

With that, he gestured for the security team to fall back. They lowered their weapons and stepped aside in formation.

Udhay walked over to Jay and Lokesh, who were still trying to catch their breath. Jay leaned against a nearby car, barely standing, while Lokesh stood beside him, visibly tense but alert.

"You two should be thanking Mr. Noel," Udhay said. "If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have lifted a finger to save your sorry asses."

Lokesh didn't waste a second. He quickly bowed his head slightly and said, "Thank you, sir." Then he nudged Jay gently.

Jay, still in pain and trying to stay upright, managed to say a weak, "Thank you."

Udhay raised an eyebrow and stared at them. "Wait a second. Don't tell me you haven't recognized him?"

Jay blinked in confusion. He genuinely had no idea who Noel was, but Lokesh caught on quickly. Keeping his voice calm, he said, "Of course. Who hasn't heard of Sir Noel?"

Udhay smiled, clearly pleased. "Good. So you do know the legendary F1 racer, Noel Hekkinen. If you didn't, I was ready to throw you right back to those goons."

Lokesh let out a quiet breath of relief. His gamble had worked, and Udhay hadn't caught on to his vague response.

He casually wiped the sweat from his forehead, nodded, and played along. Then he helped Jay stand upright, and the two of them followed behind Noel and Udhay.

The goons and Rohan glared at them as they walked past, but none of them moved. Not a single one dared to act against Udhay's authority.

Noel turned his head slightly and looked at Jay and Lokesh. His tone was calm and reassuring.

"Stay close. You're safe with us."

Jay nodded, the pain still throbbing through his body, but inside him, a small spark of hope lit up. He was still wary, unsure of what to expect next. But for now, Noel's presence brought a quiet sense of safety.
