"Attack!"
The dark faction members' morale plummeted as they witnessed Mika, Airmid, and Mellie effortlessly cutting through their ranks.
Despite their numerical advantage, Orario's adventurers weren't afraid of group battles. In fact, they excelled at them.
After all, within the dungeon, they were constantly outnumbered. The only time they held a numerical advantage was during boss battles—a scenario they always tried to avoid.
Therefore, the dark faction's numbers meant little to them.
However, there were some within the dark faction who weren't afraid to fight—the fanatical followers of the Evil Gods.
Indoctrinated and fearless, they charged relentlessly towards Mika, even as their comrades fell around them.
Facing such opponents, Mika was conflicted. He was there to fight, not to massacre.
Battling these zealots felt no different from slaughter. Their blind devotion made him increasingly frustrated.
He decided to find more suitable opponents.
His keen eyes quickly located a target: two Level 3 adventurers, along with their companions, surrounding Ryuu.
"I'll handle these ones!" he shouted, appearing beside Ryuu and intercepting an attack aimed at her.
"Thanks for the assist, Mika."
"Don't mention it. I'll take care of them. You go help the others."
"Understood." Ryuu didn't hesitate.
She remembered Mellie and Airmid mentioning Mika's Level 5 status.
He was a first-tier adventurer, and the leader of their team. Following his instructions was the best course of action.
The two Level 3 adventurers, recognizing Mika, hesitated.
They had heard of his recent exploits. After exchanging glances, they decided to retreat.
"Seriously? You're running?" Mika was taken aback. He suspected they were among the dark faction's leaders.
He gave chase, but his pursuit was hampered by a wave of zealots throwing themselves at him.
While they couldn't harm him, they did slow him down.
"You think you can escape?" His spear vanished, replaced by a large bow.
"Ignite! With this Ring of Flames, I Command Thee." He channeled his magic through the bowstring, forming a flaming arrow.
"I Am a Master Of All Weapons!!"
Twang!!!
The arrow shot forward, a blur of crimson light, striking one of the fleeing Level 3 adventurers in the back.
Boom!!!
The arrow exploded, engulfing him in flames. The blast sent his companion sprawling.
The surviving adventurer, seeing his comrade consumed by fire, quickly ducked into a side alley.
"Lucky bastard." Mika lowered his bow and gave chase, quickly ending the suffering of the burning adventurer with a single arrow.
He followed the fleeing adventurer into the alley.
With his keen eyesight, no trace could escape him.
Within the narrow confines of the alley, the zealots no longer posed an obstacle.
His speed increased dramatically as he pursued his target, quickly closing the distance.
But before he could reach him, Mika stopped.
A large figure stood before him, his back turned, gazing up at the sky.
Even without seeing his face, Mika recognized him instantly.
...
...
Zald, the Glutton.
"So you lured me here intentionally?"
"Hahaha! That's right!" the dark faction member laughed, his amusement quickly turning to anger.
"It's a shame Henry didn't make it. Killed instantly. Truly worthy of the title Inferno Blaze Emperor. However, even with your reputation, you won't survive this encounter."
With that, he turned and walked toward Zald, bowing respectfully as he passed him, then continued on his way, intending to leave.
But Mika wouldn't let him escape so easily. He drew his bow, formed another flaming arrow, and loosed it in a single fluid motion.
The arrow grazed Zald's face and struck the fleeing adventurer in the back, exploding in a burst of flames.
"Why didn't you stop my attack?" Mika asked, looking at Zald.
"Because he interrupted my contemplation," Zald replied calmly, turning to face Mika. "I wasn't here to fight. That fool brought you here."
"Then he deserved to die." Mika's bow vanished, replaced by a longsword.
[Arondight] materialized, its blade gleaming menacingly.
"Lets Dance!" he said with a smile.

...
Facing Zald, Mika couldn't hold back. He had to unleash his full power.
He drew his most trusted weapon, ready for battle.
Zald hesitated. He was eager to test the strength and potential of this descendant of the Hera Familia.
However, Alfia had forbidden him from engaging Mika. She considered Mika her opponent.
Torn between his desire to fight and his respect for his comrade, Zald hesitated. He didn't want to anger Alfia.
Seeing his hesitation, Mika instantly understood his dilemma.
After all, nothing could make a true warrior hesitate except…
He couldn't help but smile inwardly. Could it be that, like Zeus before Hera, all members of the Zeus Familia held a certain deference towards the Hera Familia?
This was truly a reflection of their respective deities.
This realization strengthened Mika's resolve. The more hesitant Zald was, the more decisive he had to be.
He grinned and charged, seizing the opportunity.
A hesitant Zald was the perfect target to gauge their strength.
"Clang!"
"Boom!" Despite his internal conflict, Zald's reflexes were sharp.
He drew his greatsword, blocking Mika's attack.
The impact of their clash shattered the surrounding alley, sending debris flying.
Empowered by Arondight, Mika's abilities were temporarily boosted to the level of a newly ascended Level 6 adventurer.
While his stats were at the Level 5 limit, the boost from Arondight didn't push him to the peak of Level 6, due to the immense gap between the two levels.
Level 6 was considered the Hero Realm.
Heroes, in essence, were demigods without divinity. Reaching this level granted an immense boost in power.
In the Danmachi side stories, Ais, at the peak of Level 5, had been utterly helpless against a Level 6 monster, unable to even defend herself. However, after leveling up, she had completely dominated the same opponent.
This illustrated the vast difference between Level 5 and Level 6.
Therefore, while Arondight could boost Mika from the peak of Level 4 to the peak of Level 5, or from the peak of Level 6 to the peak of Level 7, it couldn't bridge the gap between Level 5 and Level 6 completely.
It merely brought him to the entry level of Level 6.
But even this boost was significant.
Mika now stood within the Hero Realm.
And his opponent, Zald, was a seasoned veteran of that realm.
Therefore, when their attacks collided, the sheer force of the impact created a shockwave that obliterated the surrounding alleyways, leaving a trail of destruction.
"He's strong!" Mika thought, feeling the force transmitted through Zald's blade.
Zald had met his attack without flinching. Clearly, he was stronger than Mika, even with his enhanced strength stat.
"You have the courage to attack me directly. A true warrior, indeed!" Zald grinned, relishing the challenge.
Facing a strong opponent, instead of fear, he felt excitement. That's what defined a true warrior.
While Orario had many adventurers, few were true warriors in Zald's eyes.
"I shall respond in kind!" He drew back his greatsword and swung it at Mika with terrifying speed. Despite its size, he wielded it with a single hand.
The blow was immensely powerful.
Mika dodged, unwilling to face such a powerful attack head-on until he had a better understanding of Zald's abilities.
Thanks to Transparent World, evading the attack was easy, despite its speed.
Zald's blade struck the ground.
Boom!
The earth shattered beneath them, creating a massive fissure that extended outward, reducing buildings to rubble in its path.
Even the surrounding ground cracked under the force of the impact.
"Strong!" Mika muttered, glancing at the devastation.
Nen surged from his body, enveloping him and his weapon.
"Ignite! With this ring of flames, I command thee!" He cast his Magic once more, flames erupting around him, intensified by his Fire of the Right.
The temperature soared. He needed to enhance his strength.
"Oh, is this your magic? Flame enhancement? Interesting." Zald pulled back his greatsword, holding it at his side.
"Your earlier evasion was also quite impressive. But can you dodge this?"
He swung his greatsword.
Mika dodged.
Despite wielding a massive blade, Zald's attacks were incredibly swift.
Even with Transparent World, Mika had to focus all his attention on evading.
As Zald's attack missed, Mika seized the opportunity, his foot slamming into the ground as he propelled himself forward with a burst of flames, his flaming sword aimed at Zald's head.
The attack was swift and powerful.
