DxD: The Replication System!

Chapter 151: Let's find Lefiya

During the Loki Familia expedition, Roy had learned most of their member's magic.

With his omniscient, even complex spells became simple.

One or two viewings, and he mastered them fully.

Though he easily grasped their magic, unlike with Lefiya and Ais, he hadn't informed them beforehand—essentially "stealing" their magics.

So, he stuck to using Lefiya's Fusillade Fallarica for clearing monsters, avoiding others spells.

"I have a magic that lets me learn others magic," Roy admitted truthfully.

"As expected," Riveria sighed.

Lefiya's Elf Ring allowed her to use elven magic, and as her partial mentor, Riveria understood.

Roy's repeated use of other's magic suggested a similar ability.

"Looks like Orario's strongest mage title will change soon," Riveria said, unbothered by Roy's "theft."

His magic was too potent to hide without casting.

"But you even learned Ais's magic—your ability's rare among rarities," Riveria gave Roy a meaningful look.

Ais's spirit heritage tied her to Aeriel and tempest—yet Roy learned it.

Roy smiled.

"Her magic got a special origin?"

"Ask Ais yourself," Riveria shook her head.

"Without you, our loki familia might've suffered heavy losses, maybe deaths. Thank you," Riveria said sincerely.

Roy's timely use of her magic saved them.

Without it, casualties would've been severe.

His candor also earned her favor.

"No need for thanks. I'm part of the expedition and did my duty," Roy smiled.

"Treat the injured first."

Despite their swift elimination of the enhanced virga, many were badly hurt.

Skins corroded by venom, many were groaning in pain.

"Alright," Riveria's expression softened, her gaze on Roy warm and approving.

They began treating injuries.

Half an hour later, Finn's group emerged from the cave, looking exhausted—except Ais.

Finn, Bete, and Raul had corroded clothes and gear.

Finn's spear was half-dissolved.

No serious injuries, though.

"Camp got hit too, Riveria? Everything okay?" Finn asked, noting the ground's messy traces.

"No casualties, but many weapons were corroded," Riveria shook her head, glancing at Finn's group.

"You met those enhanced monsters too?"

"Their blood and venom corrode weapons—even my magic spear wasn't spared," Finn said wryly.

"If not for Ais's durandal weapon, our return would've been rough."

Ais's weapon and her tempest blocked the venom effectively.

"Gareth's group not back?" Finn asked.

"No," Riveria replied. "If my hunch is right, they hit those monsters too."

By now, both teams should've finished the commission and returned.

"Trouble," Finn frowned.

Gareth's group lacked durandal weapons.

While first-class adventurers could kill virga easily, venom corrosion risked severe injuries without equipments.

Even with Gareth, it was dangerous.

Fortunately, Lefiya was with them.

Her magic could clear some monsters—if her mana held.

"Finn, I'll find Lefiya and the others," Ais said, looking a bit worried.

"Too risky alone," Finn shook his head.

On the 51st floor, even Level 6 adventurers had to be cautious—death was equally possible.

Ais was a level 6, but Finn couldn't let her go solo.

"I'll go with Ais," Roy said.

"Thanks," Finn gave Roy a grateful look.

Magic, especially wide-area spells, was the best counter.

Roy's prowess was proven—perfect for handling monster hordes with Ais.
